Scorpion™
WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION --- Just a few hours after the most successful Wrestlemania of all time Vince McMahon and his inner circle wind down in a luxury hotel suite in Houston. Only minutes after leaving the giant post Mania party, Vince, Bruce Prichard, Gerald Brisco, and Pat Patterson all are sporting pretty strong buzzes off of the various drinks they all had. The inner circle sit and celebrate the recent win in the "war", knowing that just because they've managed to overcome Ted Turner and WCW it doesn't mean they can let up. They want to keep the momentum rolling and they plan to do just that. With Monday Night Raw less than 24 hours away they start throwing out ideas and Vince calls Shane up to the suite. Vince informs his men that though the company is having it's most successful year to date that he's decided to give more power to Shane McMahon and to begin grooming him to take over more creative decisions, at that moment there's a knock on the door and it's a very loud, beyond mildly intoxicated Shane McMahon who was followed up by Undertaker. Vince gives the good news to his son and after a celebratory drink they begin writing the next night's episode of Raw.... --- WRESTLEMANIA X-7 Date: April 1st, 2001 Attenance: 67,925 Venue: Reliant Astrodome in Houston, TX [DARK MATCH] X-Factor (X-Pac and Justin Credible) w/Albert def Steve Blackman and Grand Master Sexay - 2:46 [WWF Intercontinental Championship] Chris Jericho © def William Regal - 7:08 [six Man Tag Team Match] Tazz and APA (Bradshaw and Farooq) w/Jacqueline def Right to Censor (Val Venis, The Goodfather, and Bull Buchanan) w/Steven Richards - 3:52 [Triple Threat Match for the WWF Hardcore Championship] Kane def Raven© and Big Show - 9:17 [European Championship] Eddie Guerrero def Test© - 8:30 Kurt Angle def Chris Benoit - 14:04 [WWF Women's Championship] Chyna def Ivory © - 2:39 [street Fight w/ Special Guest Ref Mick Foley] Shane McMahon def Mr. McMahon w/Stephanie McMahon Helmsley - 14:12 [Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match for the WWF World Tag Team Championship] Edge and Christian def Dudley Boyz © and The Hardyz - 15:47 [Gimmick Battle Royal] The Iron Sheik won by last eliminating Hillbilly Jim - 3:07 The Undertaker def.
