For Saturi and anyone else who may not be able to see the Twitter post.

WWE star Paige, who has been out of action since last year following neck surgery, announced she was getting x-rays today. In checking with WWE sources after Paige tweeted, we are told that as long as everything goes well with the results, she could soon be cleared to return to action.

Paige's Tweet reads:

If Paige hadn't been out with an injury this whole time, it would have really been great for her to have a lengthy rivalry against Bayley after she got called up. It probably would have been the best way for Bayley's character to go over, because her and Paige are like the total opposite (despite the main roster practically ridding everything that made Paige unique from the others before she won the Divas title).

Desi Derata was in that backstage segment where Dolph was watching the Nakamura promo video.

Nope, that was Jinny.

They look very alike with the Picture of desi posted here though. :)

It says empty page on the browser and it doesn't load.

It was Desi, not Jinny. It's literally Desi's header on twitter.

I personally don't find her charismatic. She's always been really lame to me

Think of the women on Raw now and how sh*t the division is. Compare them to Paige. Paige returning can actually make people interested in the division. She's tons more charismatic than most of the current crop of women.

I did that and concluded that everyone in the division is lame and Paige being no exception.

I'm sorry, just not seeing it the way you are. Agreeing to disagree

It’s been nearly a year since former NXT Women’s and WWE Divas’ champion Paige wrestled a match. And with all that’s happened over that time - two Wellness Policy suspensions, neck surgery the company reportedly didn’t think she needed, a whirlwind romance with Alberto Del Rio/El Patron it was said at times neither her family or WWE wanted, the announcement of a Dwayne Johnson-produced movie of her journey to big-time pro wrestling, a vicious violation of her privacy and more instances of her now fiance Alberto bad-mouthing her bosses than anyone can count - there’s been plenty of skepticism of if she would ever work for the McMahons again.

According to the Anti-Diva Total Divas star herself, she’s working towards a comeback. And since by her own admission she’s under contract to WWE for a while longer still, you have to think her return would take place under their banner:

Following up on her initial Tweet, PWInsider says they contacted sources at WWE who confirmed she will be cleared for action if the results of her x-rays look good.

There’s no release date yet for Stephen Merchant’s Fighting With My Family, the comedy-drama film based on Paige’s life, but The Rock and WWE Films would probably like to have her around for promotion. Beyond that, it’s worth wondering if the past year is water under the bridge for both the company and her, and how any lingering bad blood will effect how she’s used on Raw (presuming she stays on the roster she was drafted to in 2016).

I really want Paige to go back to NXT and get rebuilt, kinda like how Emma was

That would be a waste of a short-term ratings boost if Paige returns in NXT. People will definitely tune in if Paige comes back, so it definitely will have to be on the main roster.

I'll go one better, I think WWE could generate mainstream buzz if they milk Paige's leak scandal and let her talk about how her privacy got ruined, how she got slut-shamed on the internet by trolls, how she felt terrible about it. They could turn it around into a genuine case of female empowerment and have Paige become like the face of it by condemning hackers and the general perception towards women when it comes to sex and when it comes to leaks. You know people are saying she should've not made those tapes because she's famous, she could condemn those kind of comments. I feel like the media as it is right now, would eat it up. Twitter would, then sites like Buzzfeed and then major media outlets. Worldwide. The main problem is that Paige is a loose cannon though. But she might also be the next best thing at mainstream relevance since CM Punk's pipebomb.

Joey Ryan spoke with Channel Guide Magazine for a new interview. Highlights are below:

On Candice LeRae getting on WWEs radar: Its about time. To me, not gender specific, male or female she is one of the best wrestlers in the entire world. I think it was only a matter of time before WWE caught up to that.

Can't help but agree.
