Almost ready to begin mine. Might take some setting up though.

Background -

Imagine WWE has a brand split along the lines of the very first one in 2003 the shows have separate rosters, but the WWE Champion and Women's Champion are not exclusive to one show (there is no Universal or dual womens' titles in my WWE)

Each brand however does have it's own secondary title - The Intercontinental Championship and (At the moment) the WWE Network Championship (a straight replacement for the United States Championship) -

Unlike the other two "world" titles, the tag division is also split by brand (due in part to there being far too many teams for a single title)

NXT will remain as it is.

In this Universe - NJPW has decided to take the fight to WWE, and resurrected the "dead" WCW brand through a legal loophole (alliance logo) They will run weekly shows around the world, including for the first time, the US itself. NJPW World Wrestling will showcase NJPW's top stars, as well as the best non-WWE contracted talent too. I've edited a downloaded NJPW arena to make something unique - but I will of course not be uploading it as it is made up quite a bit of logos that are not mine to do so.

Just putting the finishing touches to the setup (loathing having to re do the tag teams and stables - why can't we just carry them across from the main game?) Hopefully I'll have a belt request fulfilled soon (patiently waiting) and I'm good to go.

Default Champions:

WWE World Heavyweight - John Cena

WWE World Womens - Charlotte

WWE Intercontinental - The Miz (exclusive to Smackdown)

WWE Network - Rusev (exclusive to Raw)

WWE World Tag Team - The New Day

NXT - Samoa Joe

NXT Womens - Asuka

NXT Tag Team - DIY

NJPW World Wrestling:

IWGP World Heavyweight - Kazuchika Okada

IWGP Intercontinental - Naito

(No tag titles, as there's only around three active teams at the moment)

Well, I just got into Universe Mode and... wow is it cool. They've done so much with it, I didn't know they added promos and stuff. It's definitely improved from the last game(s).

I'm trying to make it as close to real life as possible, so I changed RAW/SD up a lot. I'm using the arenas/logos from CC and everything - which I had already to create the shows so I could play in Exhibition with the new arenas to make it feel more current. & I updated the PPVs, so both shows have their own separate PPVs, which was kinda've a pain to set up. But everything, as far as roster wise is mostly close to IRL but with my own spins on it, because it is fantasy still. As far as NXT, I really don't have much interest in it so I don't know what to do with that yet.

I won't post the full roster because tl;dr, but here's a quick look. Forgive me because I'm not good with listing things:

RAW

Champions:

Universal Champion - Kevin Owens

United States Champion - Rusev

Tag Team Champions - The New Day

Women's Champion - Charlotte

SmackDown Live

Champions:

WWE World Heavyweight Champion - AJ Styles

Intercontinental Champion - Dean Ambrose (or the Miz, again, I haven't done much with the midcard titles I forgot who I put)

Tag Team Champions - American Alpha

Women's Champion - Alexa Bliss

NXT

Champions:

NXT Champion - Samoa Joe

NXT Tag Team Champion - N/A

NXT Women's Champion - Asuka

Pay-Per Views

Some of these might not be in order because I set up Universe Mode like all night so I was a zombie.

RAW: Extreme Rules, Payback, Battleground, Money in the Bank, Night of Champions, Hell in a Cell, Roadblock, Fastlane,

SmackDown: Backlash, Capitol Punishment, No Mercy, Elimination Chamber, TLC, Judgement Day, No Way Out, Over the Limit

---------

And obviously the super shows or whatever are RR, Mania, SS, & SummerSlam. I actually made Vengeance, Armageddon, Unforgiven, Bad Blood, Fatal 4-Way & NYR a custom show but I probably won't use them, but I downloaded them just in case.

These may change, but I did this pretty quickly so we'll see. Lesnar/Taker/Triple H, & Goldberg etc I'm gonna have them on Universe Mode as little as possible, except around the Mania/SummerSlam season, and probably SS. I might have Goldberg be more active though.

Edit: Oh, and I got 205 Live just in case I want it, with the arena/Cruiserweight title, but I haven't made it a show on Universe Mode because I don't have enough people to make a roster - I only have TJ Perkins and Rich Swann & Brian Kendrick. I'll probably add Cedric, Noam Darr and others later. I don't even know if I'll put 205 live on Universe because I don't even watch it nor am I even interested to play as any of them.

Just played Starrcade '18 in my WCW Reborn Universe and figured I'd post results and backstories (and pics in spoiler tags) - P.S. I wrote a lot, this is more for me to remember it, feel free to ignore :P.

2fpUwg0.png

Curtis Axel (w/ Ric Flair) def. Braun Strowman

iKzu6st.jpg

HhuMTTf.jpg

HEsVTOG.jpg

Since losing the WCW World Heavyweight title to Goldberg at Starrcade '17, Strowman has been on a reign of destruction, including interrupting Sting's 'Retirement Match' with Ric Flair. After attacking WCW Owner Ric Flair for months for not giving Strowman a rematch with Goldberg, Curtis Axel stepped up to defend him. Axel won with the Perfect Plex, becoming only the second man to defeat Strowman.

Hideo Itami def. Daniel Bryan © for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship

Kg0qHwK.jpg

45rMGda.jpg

sHlpbKS.jpg

Not much of a story here, just two allies battling for the first time for the Cruiserweight title. Itami won following a GTS. On Nitro the night after this loss, Bryan announced his intention to move into the Heavyweight division after being a Cruiser for the past 2 years.

Shinsuke Nakamura def. Chris Jericho

88gvw1B.jpg

Again, no real story, just a way to fit two of the main stars on the card. Jericho is a former 2 time Heavyweight Champion, and Nakamura a 3 time United States Champion. Nakamura won with a Boma-Ye, solidifying him in the main event scene.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn def. The Balor Club (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) © for the WCW World Tag Team Championship

mIiOZGz.jpg

g7TlVBM.jpg

JYrjxVI.jpg

Since Finn Balor turned on Bullet Club leader AJ Styles on the Nitro after Starrcade '17, forming the Balor Club with Gallows and Anderson, they have been unbeatable for the titles. Owens and Zayn are 3 time Tag Team Champions and have yet to face the Balor Club. Owens and Zayn are 0-2 at Starrcade, and were looking to break the duck. Owens and Zayn won with a Piledriver/Brainbuster combo.

Dean Ambrose def. Bray Wyatt © for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship

Jyb2R27.jpg

M4Ajufa.jpg

pf9hwWu.jpg

GolH1y3.jpg

These two have practically been feuding for the entirety of the save, but Ambrose is yet to get a clean win over Wyatt, nor has he been able to win a championship on his own. Quick backstory: Wyatt had a cult-like stable called 'The Family', comprised of wrestlers who were on losing streaks before joining (members included Bo Dallas, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Murphy - actually an undercover cop) and who Wyatt used for his own benefit. At Starrcade '16, Wyatt defeated Ambrose and he was forced to join The Family. Ambrose eventually got fed up with helping Wyatt win championships while getting nothing in return and turned on him and challenged him to an Extreme Rules match at Starrcade '17, but was unsuccessful. Earlier in this year, Ambrose and Kofi Kingston earned a tag title match against Owens and Zayn, but Wyatt attacked Kingston backstage before the match and took his place, as Ambrose and Wyatt won the tag titles. They dropped them the next night and Wyatt beat Ambrose again. They went their separate ways for a few months but now for the first time, Wyatt has no 'Family' to protect him as they all lost faith in him over time, so Ambrose challenged him for his title. Ambrose won using a Knee Trembler quickly followed by a Dirty Deeds.

Sting def. Ultimate Warrior in Sting's Retirement Match

J02u5bp.jpg

STIbrwU.jpg

6LssJQJ.jpg

Sting announced his plans to retire mid-2018 and faced Ric Flair at the Great American Bash in his 'final' match, but it was ruined by Braun Strowman. Following this, he instead decided to see out the year with a Retirement Tour, facing numerous opponents from his past (Vader etc.). With Starrcade '18 a month away, Sting still had no opponent as his original opponent, Ric Flair, had been injured by Strowman, and so he entered the World War 3 Battle Royal. In a surprise, Ultimate Warrior made his first appearance in the reborn WCW, and eliminated Sting. They agreed to face in this 'Dream match' at Starrcade '18. Sting won after a Scorpion Deathdrop. Ultimate Warrior is probably done with this Universe too, though I am considering having him form a tag team with Mojo Rawley.

Finn Balor © def. AJ Styles, Bret Hart and Goldberg to retain the WCW World Heavyweight Championship

a2ZiMXo.jpg

scERwlur.jpg

S8iPi63.jpg

0CR8s2b.jpg

A lot of backstory here, so i'll break it up a bit.

Finn Balor and AJ Styles have been feuding for around two years. Since the start of this Universe (at the Big Bang), the Bullet Club were dominating the WCW (Styles, Ziggler, Breeze, Gallows, Anderson). After Sting failed to defeat Styles at Starrcade '16, Sting mentored Finn Balor and 'brought out the Demon' as Balor beat Styles at SuperBrawl the following year. However, Balor was unable to control the Demon and he began attacking everyone in sight, including Sting. At Starrcade '17, Sting defeated Balor. The next night, Finn Balor turned full-on heel as he attacked AJ Styles and Sting and formed The Balor Club with Anderson and Gallows (Ziggler and Breeze remianed with Styles as 'the Elite'). Styles turned face and repeatedly tried to dethrone Balor but was unsuccessful. Styles won the World War 3 Battle Royal to qualify for this match.

Goldberg made his WCW return at Starrcade '17 where he defeated Braun Strowman for the World title. Meanwhile, Chris Jericho defeated Bret Hart at Starrcade '17, injuring him in the process. Jericho and Goldberg then began a feud for the title. Before their title match however, Cesaro, a hired gun, attacked Goldberg backstage, taking him out of his title defence. Rather than Jericho being gifted the title, Bret Hart made his return and defeated Jericho for the vacant title. Goldberg was out for months, but returned at Halloween Havoc where he beat Jericho but it was revealed that Jericho was not behind the attack. At World War 3, Goldberg beat Cesaro and Cesaro revealed that it was Bret Hart who hired him to attack Goldberg, as revenge for Goldberg almost ending his career over 15 years ago. Later on that night, Goldberg cost Bret Hart his world title in a match with Finn Balor. As Goldberg was due a title match as he never lost the title, he was entered into this match.

As previously mentioned, Balor and Hart were feuding throughout 2018, including a Balor Club vs. Hart Foundation match at Fall Brawl. At World War 3, Bret Hart defended the title against Balor in a Last Chance match, which Balor won due to Goldberg. Hart evoked his rematch clause, making this a Fatal 4-Way

Finn Balor retained the title following a Blood Sunday on Goldberg, while Hart had Styles in the Figure Four.

Current WWE Universe concept: WWE Vs. NXT

The story so far: With the rapid growth of NXT Triple H has (kayfabe-wise) decided to go up against Vince Mcmahon's WWE brand with his own brand. Raw and NXT will wage war for ratings in an attempt to become the sovereign brand in the wrestling world.

Brands:

RAW

NXT

Belts:

WWE RAW

WWE World Championship - AJ Styles

WWE Intercontinental Championship - Zack Ryder

WWE Tag Team Championship - New Day

WWE Women's - Charlotte Flair

NXT

NXT Championship - Samoa Joe

NXT Honor Championship - Tournament

NXT Tag Championship - The Revival

NXT Women's - Asuka

Events:

January - Royal Rumble (dual)

February - Extreme Rules

March - NXT Takeover Dallas

April - WrestleMania (dual)

May - Payback (WWE)

June - NXT Takeover Brooklyn

July - Battleground

August - Summerslam (Dual)

September - Money In The Bank (Dual)

October - Fastlane

November - Survivor Series (dual)

December - NXT Takeover London

Roster ideas

WWE will feature their mainstays such as Cena, Reigns, Rollins, Orton, Styles, Ambrose, Bálor, Owens etc

Tag Teams:

The New Day

The Ascension

#Social Outcasts

The Club

New Age Outlaws

Dudley Boys

The Wyatt Family

Lucha Dragons

Enzo and Cass

JeriKO

American Alpha

Golden Truth

Hype Bros

At some point John Cena and Randy Orton?? Mega powers 2.0?

Strong part timers influence with the likes of Goldberg, Undertaker, The Rock and Brock Lesnar, Shane McMahon

Vince will even use drastic measures to combat his son-in-law such as negotiating and reconciling with CM Punk and consequently sign him to a multimillion dollar deal.

NXT will feature their popular roster as Triple H will continue to sign the hottest indie acts and steal talent from NJPW and ROH.

Cesaro will also leave WWE for NXT because he is so disgruntled with the WWE Machine.

The Elite

RPG Vice

Adam Cole BAYBAY

Redragon

Chris Hero

Pete Dunne

Okada, Naito and LIJ, Tanahashi, Nagata, Goto, Shibata, Chaos.

Bullet Club with rights to the name
