classiq.
– Sexy Star recently spoke with Pro Wrestling 24/7 about the incident with Rosemary at TripleMania. Here are the highlights… On if the injury to Rosemary was purposely done: “No, never. I’ve been in this sport for 11 years and I will be the first one to be against those type of things, so I [would] never do that.” On if there was a confrontation backstage that transferred over to the ring: “No. Nothing happened in the back in the locker rooms, we just did what we usually do. Also, Rosemary was not in the same locker room as mine, so I don’t know why they are saying that.” On if peers and wrestling fans jumped to conclusions too quickly: “Yes, they just took the first impression after the show ended. I didn’t know anything about that until the next day I got on my social media, and the news started calling me and asking me. But maybe it was my mistake because I stood quiet and I didn’t talk to anyone.” https://411mania.com/wrestling/sexy-star-didnt-purposely-hurt-rosemary/

Mani-Man
Hasnt she broken a Rookies nose once with a couple of Elbows? i might have read something years ago. Either way, she doesnt make it better for herself...but i guess you will not see her showing real remorse or so.Its always the others, she is the victim and so on. Astro Zombie
Not sure if true, or how strong the interest is, but apparently WWE are interested in Dragon Lee. Watched a YouTube video of a clip from a Meltzer podcast where he talked about it and the uploader played the audio over a highlight reel of Dragon Lee. I've never seen Dragon Lee wrestle before this, but going by that video...holy shit.

He's no different than Mistico or La Sombra were and I have no doubt he'd end up just like them, either losing his mask or his identity and then lingering in obscurity in WWE. Dragon Lee is fine where he is in CMLL and NJPW, no need to go where they won't know what to do with you.

Meltzer basically said that his family name and talent guaranteed him a top spot in Mexico in the future, but WWE is where the money is. Also said he was supposed to be in the CWC last year but he got hurt. I'd say it would be cool, but like you said the recent Mexican imports have been lukewarm and the Cruiserweights are back to being treated the same as they were in 2006. Yeah WWE has no *censored*ing idea what to do with luchadors. They only have one plan and that is copying the Rey Misterio model; if a guy is small wears a mask he is always an underdog and he should always be bullied by the biggest guys on the roster. Pretty much yeah. I still think with a better booking you could really do some cool things with the current Sin Cara. The guy has the potential...but yeah, WWE. classiq.
Last week it was reported that The CRASH in Mexico has attempted to book The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay over the last several months, but NJPW blocked these bookings. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has updated the story, and as of now, the Young Bucks, Ricochet and War Machine can work for The CRASH. The wrestlers blocked by New Japan from working there are Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega. As long as Cody Rhodes is ROH champion, he can only work for CMLL in Mexico due to the working relationship between ROH & CMLL. https://411mania.com/wrestling/update-njpw-stars-working-crash/

Pretty much yeah. I still think with a better booking you could really do some cool things with the current Sin Cara. The guy has the potential...but yeah, WWE. I'd argue that it's a Junior Heavyweight problem in general with WWE. They don't know how to market them. Never really did. I mean sure you have guys like Rollins who's technically in that class but wrestles as a heavyweight, and guys like Mysterio who achieve big success despite being under 200lbs, but for the most part it seems like they sign them with no idea what they're doing in the long-term. Look at the Cruiserweight Classic last year. This big thing to rejuvenate the division. A year later and the most interesting thing in the division in months is Drew Gulaks Powerpoint presentation. 205 Live could have been the most exciting show WWE produces, but instead it gets little to no hype and is rumored to be on the chopping block. maskedmaniac
Thing is people don't want to see really small guys in WWE unless they are full fledged luchadors. I Know I don't. It has more to do with wwe's treatment of them than their actual looks or ability.
GDAWG
Speaking of WWE and Luchadores, the only way, IMO that Rey Mysterio comes back to the WWE is if he goes into the WWE Hall of Fame. Hey it could happen, as I thought for sure Goldberg was going into the WWE Hall of Fame.

maskedmaniac
CMLL 85th anniversary show tonight. They will have to go up against the GGG/Canelo fight. A few weeks ago it was Trimplemania going up against the Conner/Mayweather fight, but CMLL's show isn't free so lets see how well it does.

Let's just hope he gets in while he's still alive. Oh I think Rey will live to see his induction ceremony. I think he gets in sooner rather than later. Stranger things have happened in regards to the WWE Hall of Fame, case in point, Kurt Angle. There had been rumors for years that Kurt Angle would eventually go back to the WWE, but for the last few years, those rumors never came to fruition until this year. classiq.
Lucha underground. Might be done I find it funny that El Rey want season 4 but don't wanna pay for it (according to that video). As if money will appear from out of nowhere. Either invest in the show if you believe in the project or just cancel it and let the performers work other shows and make a proper living.
