Astro Zombie
Would be cool if this was the new home for LU, they'd get way more viewers that way. Not only that but they'd get guaranteed funding and could probably even increase production values. The downside is their partnership with AAA could be in jeopardy if they went to Netflix. With the way AAA has been acting lately, I'd say that's not necessarily a bad thing. Most of the luchadors are from AAA, no? I'd imagine they could block LU from using them if this is the case. They are, but Fenix, Pentagon, Jack Evans, Sexy Star and presumably Mysterio have all left AAA. I think Lucha Underground could rebuild if they severed ties with AAA, but I don't see it happening because LU is basically owned by one of the owners of AAA. Rey is done with AAA? Any chance he becomes the legend for WWE 2K18? Not 100% sure that he's done with AAA, but he showed up at The Crash and joined Penta/Fenix/Zorro's group so I would think that he's not happy with AAA to say the least. maskedmaniac
Man AAA is done the way things are going. No way they can survive with just El Media's and Pagano as their headliners.
Senex Beast
Rewatched the first two LU seasons on netflix and remembered why Mil Muertes is my favorite LU character/wrestler. His character, look and ring work is just such a great package for me! He reminds me of Kane from debut to 2001 but even better! My second favorite is Aerostar or Drago
Lil' Kazu
My second favorite is Aerostar or Drago Aerostar at first didn't seem like much to me but then I really started to appreciate his wrestling style, now I like him a lot. Drago went the other way kinda, I like him at first but now he's just meh to me.
maskedmaniac
I gotta say Mil Muertes is my favorite as well. He is brutal but has some technical ability at the same time, so he can go with basically anybody and their different styles. \
Willows Way
The whole Mil Muertes vs Matanza feud is probably my second favorite monster feud ever second only to Undertaker and Kane. I still say Mil punching through the casket like a movie monster to grab Matanza is one of the coolest spots in wrestling ive ever seen.

E#37
Taya lost the Reina de Reinas Championship after a 2.5 year reign to Hamada. Also, headwriter Chris Joseph from LU is now alongside Vampiro in AAA to help with the shows.

Wasn't Impact supposed to be working with The Crash? Stolen from @luchablog on Twitter, but here's a map of the current lucha libre landscape. It's a rather confusing thing as it turns out. GDAWG
Impact Wrestling is probably not done with having working agreements yet. I would not be surprised if they work with a second Japanese promotion, possibly Dragon Gate or go back to Wrestle-1, run by the Great Muta. E#37
Sexy Star has not retired from wrestling, and not planning to either. At no point did I ever actually say [that I’m retired from wrestling],” Sexy Star said. “I think that was just miscommunication from several parties saying that I’ve quit. I have not quit wrestling, but we’ll see what happens. We’ll see what opportunities come my way as a boxer. Boxing and wrestling are similar in regards to being in shape. If I’m in shape and still training in boxing, then I can definitely come back and do wrestling. If I keep training, even though boxing is another sport entirely, then I think I feel comfortable enough to wrestle at any given time.” http://www.fightful.com/exclusive-sexy-star-says-she-has-not-retired-wrestling
maskedmaniac
Good, cuz that boxing shit really isn't gonna get her anywhere. I think the unmasking was just to avoid any hassle with AAA, I mean they can't take her to court for using her own damn face now can they?
