Lucha Libre Discussion Thread

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lucha Underground is airing a mid-season finale next week and will then take a break for an undetermined amount of time. This is being done to extend the third season, since they will not tape season four until the fall of 2017 to debut in early 2018. The rest of season three will start when they return from the break.

Is that the original Tiger Mask? Also it's kind of a waste to have singles matches only be between the CMLL guys. It should be CMLL vs NJPW. I don't want to see Rush vs Atlantis, I'd rather see Rush team up with Naito for example or Mistico vs Tanahashi. I guess this is more for the Japanese public to see lucha libre guys without too much Japanese guys.
