download vs disk

Have an opportunity to get the digital download and give the disk to a friend, so he can travel with it, I like the downloads better then the disk anyway but, the question is since i have the game downloaded will it work with the save i have or will i need to delete and start over and will it take the season mode over with it or will i have to buy that again?

The save & format shouldn't of game shouldn't matter. Just back it up before completely converting then restore. Because you have to delete all history of disk before installing downloaded version.

 

In terms of the season pass, was it a code you had to redeem with your user profile? if so, should be synced with your actual profile and can be used with a disk or download. It's your friend who won't be able to use it unless he purchases another for his profile.

 

Not 100% certain but when deleting the "install" of cd or download version, before installing another, it might delete your save file, so save to usb etc prior..

Ok so what your saying is the save and install are 2 different files so one wont affect the other, thats great.

Yep, that will be fine! And same with the latter, you'll just have to redownload them and that's it!
