His push was confusing to many, but he has wholly embraced it and is a legitimate threat to Orton's title. Victories over Orton and AJ Styles in consecutive weeks have proven that, plus his performances in and out of the ring have made him a worthy adversary. I was leaning towards Rabdy keeping the title, but I feel like going bold as Mahal has all the momentum going into this match. United States Championship Kevin Owens © vs. AJ Styles This has instant classic written all over it. I like that two top guys are fighting for a secondary title, but I'm not liking Owens' "Face of America" gimmick. Could be the first thing I've ever not liked with regards to him since he debuted in NXT. But regardless it's getting a reaction and that's always good no matter if it's positive or negative. Really excited for this match! Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Dolph Ziggler Analysis: It's Shinsuke Nakamura! Duh! SmackDown Tag Team Championships The Usos © vs. Breezango Both these teams have been killing it with their... unique forms of promos the last few weeks. That's just the thing about this match though. They're a perfect contrast to one another and I think it'll make for a better match that some expect. The Usos are usually money when it comes to PPV performances as well and I've noticed elevates the level of their opponents. I'm glad that Breeze and Dango are getting a title shot but I don't think cashmere vests and gorgeous smiles will be enough to dethrone the champs. Naomi, Charlotte & Becky Lynch vs. Natalya, Carmella & Tamina Unless they want to put over a new challenger to Naomi's title, I think that the champ's team should be victorious here. Then Nattie and Carmella will fight over who will be the next challenger for the championship after Charlotte gets her rematch. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Becky go one-on-one with James Ellsworth as they've been having somewhat of a feud on the side ("low key" as the kids say). Then James can get dumped by Carmella once he gets his ass handed to him and head back to the indies for good. Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin My boy BC is the next person in line to face Orton. If they don't do it right away, then I think he should win Money in the Bank this year. Either way he needs to win to against Sami to climb the ladder to -- at the very least -- a title shot. I can see Sami once again going head-to-head with Owens even though it's been done and done and done again. The fact is that they do a good job at making it feed a little different and with KO's current gimmick it'll be a good chance for Zayn to take the title off of Owens and finally get the upper hand over him. The crowd would get behind Sami as we always do and thus make the US title less of an afterthought. Luke Harper vs. Erick Rowan Not completely sure what we're going to get here but if it's anything like Rowan's promo on Talking Smack this week, it could get weird. Hopefully the former Wyatt Family members angle doesn't get beat to death and these two can tell a new story. Harper has been getting great crowd reactions as of late and Rowan is a bit of an unknown entity thus far. Supposedly he's been trying new stuff with his masks at house shows so maybe he can incorporate some of those experiments and make this match -- and his character -- more intriguing. Kickoff Match Tye Dillinger vs. Aiden English I like that Aiden went back to his Drama King gimmick from NXT after Simon Gotch parted ways with WWE. The VaudeVillians gimmick was amazing when it was at its peak, but you could see it was coming to an end with Jack Gallagher doing a similar thing. The Drama King gimmick works for English as it's a great way to generate heat. However I'd like to see Dillinger vs. Owens feud at some point so I expect The Perfect 10 to make quick work out of English to move onward and upward.
