StillDriven
Do we have enough Superstars currently on the roster that can fill in the gap of every released Superstar as far as roster filled up for 2K24? I'm hoping the roster for the next game is just as big if not bigger?

Like, there are a handfull of Indie wrestlers already warning indie promotions that they would refuse to do business with them if they hire Riddle. Hardy and Riddle are two different cases completely. Riddle is scum, simple as that. Im not sad he is gone, i will be more sad if i see him in any promotion i like. I could see UFC being the final reason that they released him. From what i gathered, nobody in UFC liked the guy...and that says a lot. If you got some of the worst right wing people in UFC and they dont like a scumbag like Riddle? Wow.

PaperThinWalls
If you want to see Morrison, he’s periodically on AEW being a goofy jobber.
Generations
Yeah...I mean, there is really never any shortage of Morrison in the wrestling world. He's always popping up somewhere. Think he's trying to go for some sort of record with unique nicknames in different promotions. Lol

StillDriven
I remember watching an in-ring segment with The Miz and John Morrison on Miz TV. John Morrison was a heel and he was on the mic trying to trash talk and speak highly of The Miz. In the back of my mind I'm thinking to myself "John I know you can deliver on the mic better than this." Maybe he was just tired or he didn't fully prepare for something. Overall, I always loved John Morrison's look, his work ethic, his athletic ability and his down to earth nature. It's unfortunate he couldn't make a big splash in WWE after MNM tag team days but I feel like he should be eligible to be seen as someone worth signing in one of the top Indy places. dje_wba
Indy promotions don't sign workers to contracts - with the exception of GCW and Nick Gage - that's what makes them indies.

Not wholly true. They're indies because they aren't backed by any major production, and are therefor "independently" operated. Companies like WWE and AEW have investors and backers, shareholders, etc. Being an "indy worker" means that you are not contracted anywhere. But, an independent promotion is a different thing. You can have an independent promotion that uses indy workers...but you can also have an independent promotion that signs people to contracts. Those aren't mutually exclusive things. Like...MLW is an indy promotion. But someone like Jacob Fatu, who is signed exclusively to MLW is not an independent worker. He is a contracted wrestler for MLW...an indy promotion. Generations
Man...I wanted to like Boogs. But, if your career is only as strong as the word of one guy...that's pretty sad. I think the death of his career had more to do with him being injury prone and too much of a goofball to get over as more than a comedy act. The closest he ever came to doing anything worthwhile was his time with Shinsuke...and wasn't that literally the time when Vince was gone completely and HHH was in charge? Boog’s biggest run was Winter ‘22, then he got injured at WM38 and was gone until January of this year.

Generations
I won't lie and say that Ali offers a lot at this point in his career...but, he did. For a long time, he had a lot of potential...and it was blatantly squandered. He was put in pointless, stupid, or even blatantly racist/xenophobic angles. Fans naturally liked him for his real-life persona. Being a genuinely kind person was more than enough to put him over with fans...and WWE constantly worked against that. He's still talented...no doubt. But, I'm not sure than there are many instances of a particular company "needing" him on their roster. Maybe a place like Impact or MLW. I'm just really not sure. He doesn't strike me as someone that AEW would use well either. Edited October 3 by Generations
