Unless you start off as a heel, then you can do all kinds of fun stuff that will make people like you and then they'll turn you into a face and use those fun things and milk the shit out of it. You can just chill when you're that kind of face.

 

They should've done that with Roman Reigns.

Yeah. In fact, majority of great superstars started as heels or gain notoriety by it. Only exceptions are Hogan, Macho Man, Warrior, and Bret Hart. Fortunately for those guys, they were in a time period when colorful, super hero-like characters was a thing (not to take away from them 'cause they excelled at their gimmicks).

 

Batista had a similar start off as Roman though but managed to be successful. That's only guy I can think of that pulled it off in the modern era.

Heel. Some people nowadays can't difference between fiction and reality yet and they could "harass" you outside, booing and insulting you and stuff.

I'd say it's harder to be a heel. There's a good chance you'll get cheered by the crowd which is not the reaction a heel should aim for and if you do happen to get boos, the fans will just disregard it as "X-Pac Heat."

The fact you have to be mindful that you're pc probably hinders how much heat you can attract and doing all the charity events doesn't help either.
