WWE Presents: Summerslam

Live: Barclays Center

From: Brooklyn, New York.

We kick the show off with the pre-show where Renee Young, Booker T, Jerry "The King" Lawler and Lita begin discussing the matches you can see tonight as they go over their predictions for the matches and we get to some action as the Shining Stars take on the Dudley Boys in tag team competition.

The Dudley Boys defeated the Shining Stars by pinfall after hitting the 3D on Primo for the pinfall and the victory.

-The Shining Stars have not been able to get anything going for them so far in the WWE as they lose in a competitive match against the Dudley Boys. Speaking of the Dudley Boys there are concerns that the WWE is just wasting the Dudley Boys as they haven't done anything meaningful with them for a while. After the Dudley's defeated the Shining Stars they showed their frustration as they looked to continue to make an impact as they pulled a table out of the ring and rolled it back in. D-Von sets up the table while Bubba goes to the corner and begins climbing to the top. D-Von drags Epico up and hands him to Bubba onto the top turnbuckle who leaps off the turnbuckle and delivers a Leaping Powerbomb off the top turnbuckle that sends Epico crashing through the table. It looks as the real Dudley Boys are back as they look to take a claim back at the top of the tag team division here on Raw.

The next pre-show match was Baron Corbin taking on Kalisto, a rivalry that started many weeks ago on Smackdown during a 6 Pack Challenge and it was Kalisto who cost Baron Corbin a chance to fight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Summerslam by eliminating him from the match.

Match Summary/Closing Moments: Kalisto looked pretty good against Baron Corbin and was able to get in his offense but the Lone Wolf came back and nailed Kalisto with the End of Days and that's all she wrote as Baron Corbin defeated Kalisto here on the Summerslam pre-show.

The final match on the pre-show was match 2 between the best of 7 Series between Sheamus ans Cesaro and these two guys tore the house down, with Cesaro coming close to winning on a few attempts but Sheamus ended up kicking out just before the three count. The action would spew to the outside where Sheamus would take advantage after back body dropping Cesaro back first off the steel ring post. Sheamus would then target the back throughout the rest of the match and that proved to much for the Swiss Superman as Sheamus pinned Cesaro after a Brogue Kick and gets the victory and extends his lead to 2-0 in the Series.

We then begin the PPV as the pyro goes off in the arena and thousands of screaming fans were crowding into the Barclay's Center as the camera pans around and we see both commentary teams from both Smackdown and Raw and it looks like we will be getting underway with Monday Night Raw as we get ready for our first match.

Match 1:

Sami Zayn vs Neville

-Here are two guys who didn't have anything planned for the biggest party of the Summer and they were not pleased with that so they challenged each other to friendly match. These two guys have been friends and have known each other for many years, including down in NXT.

-Sami Zayn makes his way down to the ring and the Brooklyn fans love Sami Zayn as they are singing along with his entrance theme and are cheering for him. Neville music's hits and he's greeted to a great reaction as well and here he comes down the ramp and into the ring. Both Zayn and Neville walk up to each other and shake each others hands as the bell is rung and we are underway with our opening bout at Summerslam.

Summary: These two popular superstars literally tore the roof off of Barclays as they went on for 20+ minutes putting their body on the line for these fans and showcasing their skills on the big stage. At one point in the match Zayn would get dumped to the outside by Neville and the "Man that Gravity Forgot" would hit a torpedo dive over the top rope and splashed on top of Zayn. Neville would try to continue the onslaught by lifting Sami up and goes to whip him into the barricade, but Zayn would leap on in and then hit Neville with a Moonsault that wowed the audience. Time had past and Sami was still in control on the outside and Zayn would dive in between the ring post and the turnbuckle and catch Neville with his Spinning Torpedo DDT through the ringpost. The action would get back in the ring where Zayn would get many near falls on Neville via roll ups and school boys and you name it but Neville would kick out of those. Zayn would go on to hit his patent Blue Thunder Bomb, one of the prettiest looking moves in the company but Neville would get his shoulder up just before the three count. Zayn would continue to try and punish Neville as he would hit his patent Exploder sSuplex that would send Neville into the corner and Zayn backed up into the corner on the other side of the ring and he would just wait for Neville to get back to his feet, looking for the Helluva Kick and the match. Neville would get back to his feet and Zayn charged and Neville would come to life and move out of the way at the last minute and Zayn's leg would get caught up on the turnbuckle and Neville see's his chance and runs and hits a huge dropkick sending Zayn crashing to the mat. Neville goes for a pinfall but only gets a two count. Neville would hit a standing Shooting Star Press for a near fall, Neville grabs the leg of Sami and locks in a Single Leg Boston Crab applying pressure to the injured leg as Zayn struggles from the pain. After a few minutes in the hold Sami would fight to the bottom rope and Neville let's go. Neville looks for the finish here as he goes to the corner and begins to climb up and looks to go for the Red Arrow and he leaps and Zayn moves but Neville rolls through and lands on his feet and comes back and both men collide butting heads in the middle of the ring and both men go down. The referee puts the count on both men as both men get up at the count of 7 and begin trading blows with Zayn getting the upperhand. Zayn would get the upperhand and drops Neville and locks on the Muta Lock and Neville is in trouble. Neville gets to the ropes and Sami lets go and he wonders what does he have to do to finish his friend and opponent off. He goes to the corner and climbs up to the top turnbuckle and sits there and waits for Neville to get to his feet and he does and Zayn leaps off and hits a Diving Crossbody for a near fall.

Zayn has a little look of disappointment on his face but he continues the onslaught as he whips Neville into the corner. He lifts Neville onto the top turnbuckle and follows him up. Neville begins fighting back as he unloads on Zayn and he knocks Zayn off the top with a kick to the midsection as Sami falls to the mat. Neville takes a breath and turns around and takes flight and hits a Reverse 450 Splash and he comes down with the cover on Sami and he gets a close fall but Sami Zayn just throws his shoulder up in time. Neville can't believe Zayn kicked out of that and he looks down as Sami as he brings him up and hits a Suplex and Neville now once again goes to the turnbuckle and climbs up and looks down and looks for the Red Arrow and looks for it but Zayn moves out of the way and Neville eats nothing but mat. Zayn sees his chance and rolls up Neville and that's all she wrote for this match.

Sami Zayn defeated Neville via pinfall by rollup in a spectacular match to open the pay per view

Match 2:

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho

-Enzo Amore and Big Cass are the most over tag team in the company and were coming off a big win at Battleground where they teamed up with John Cena to take on the Club and they pulled out the victory. On the Raw after Battleground Big Cass was involved in a Fatal Four Way match to determine who was going to face Seth Rollins at Summerslam to determine the first ever Universal Championship. Anyway in the match Big Cass was blindsided by Jericho and he took Cass out and cost him a chance at the Universal Championship, while Kevin Owens attacked Enzo who joined the commentary team and security had to pull them apart. The following week Jericho and Owens would mock Enzo and Big Cass and so the Brooklyn natives would challenge JeriKO to a match at Summerslam in which they accepted.

-Enzo Amore and Big Cass's entrance music hits and out comes the crowd favorites to a thunderous ovation from the fans in the Barclay's Center and Enzo Amore and Big Cass are at the top of the ramp and they do their usual stick, "My name is Enzo Amore and I'm an certified G and a bonified stud and you can't teach that, and this right here, this is big Cass and he's seven foot tall and you can't teach that, bada bing bada boom, realest guys in the room, how you doin". By that time Enzo and Big Cass would make their way down the ramp and into the ring and Enzo has the mi and say's "look's like we have ourselves, a cuppa haters, talking about Jericho and Owens. Enzo would go and crack a few jokes and hand things off to Big Cass who ended by saying their's only one word to describe you and I'm gonna spell it out for ya.

-SAWFT, SAWFFFFT! The Brooklyn fans ate it up as "Break the Walls" hits throughout the arena and out comes Chris Jericho whose basking in the moment as he makes his way down the ramp and is berating some fans in the front row who have Enzo and Cass merchandise as we await the arrival of his partner, and friend Kevin Owens. We don't have to wait that long as his music blares throughout the arena and out steps Kevin Owens and he makes his way down the ramp and meets up with Chris and they climb the steps and into the ring.

Summary: The two heels, Jericho and Owens came out looking strong against the hometown heroes as they double team Enzo and keep him isolated from Big Cass for the start of the match. Enzo Amore was getting pounded from pillar to post as Kevin Owens had a headlock on Enzo and began taunting smack to the fans and to Enzo. A few minutes later Owens made the tag out to Jericho and he made a slight mistake as Enzo would take advantage on a mistake by Jericho and hit a Torpedo DDT spiking Jericho's head to the mat. Enzo would crawl and get to his corner and make the hot tag to Big Cass who came in like a house on fire and took the fight to both men. He knocks Jericho to the mat with a huge clothesline and then knocks Owens off the apron. Jericho rolls to the outside and him and Kevin slow the match down on the outside, however
