PPV themes.

I have no idea what most of the themes mean. Royal Rumble, sure. Survivor Series, TLC, Extreme Rules, Elimination Chamber (Gawd I hate these gimmick hardcore match PPVs). But what's Payback? What's Battleground? etc.

What I've learned is if you put a Pay-Per View theme on that Pay-Per View WWE Universe will book that Pay-Per View as it would the regular Pay-Per View, so if you give a Pay-Per View Battleground then that Pay-Per View basically becomes Battleground with a new name.

Off Topic: You'd have to question why World Wrestling Entertainment feels the need to promote Extreme Rules as "The One Day WWE Goes Extreme" yet follows that up with WWE Elimination Chamber [No Escape], WWE Money in the Bank, WWE Hell in a Cell and WWE Tables, Ladders & Chairs. Just gimmicks without purpose. This of course isn't ignoring we've seen Extreme style of matches on regular WWE product, such as street fights, etc.

I believe the basis of Extreme Rule matches in Extreme Championship Wrestling was anything can happen outside of the ring but the action must end inside the ring, I could be wrong.

It would be nice to be able to create your own ppv posters in universe mode. It feel weird seeing the loading screen that say payback is 3 weeks away when you created lets say nwo souled out for that month...

I agree. Would be awesome to make your own PPV posters.

I would also like to beable to use/choose custom logos for fan signs like we used to beable to do.

I still don't know what that means though. Obviously if you select Royal Rumble as the theme, the game will book a rumble match and so on, but what is Payback? What is Battleground? For that matter, what does SummerSlam do?

It makes the main event the same as the previous event was in real life.

Most PPV's in 2014, as always. A stipulation in place. So if the main event was last man standing at battleground 2014, that will be the template when selecting "battleground" for your ppv. Dependent on main event stipulations that year.

Ah so check before setting one, sounds fair.

I made a new PPV and set it as Battleground (as I replaced Battleground because it's generic), so I guess I'll see what that is once it gets to it. Is a second PPV on the month of Summerslam for my third brand. Also gave them a "Wrestlemania" a month after.

I give a lot of my PPV's the Wrestlemania template and especially Summer slam. Makes it seem more special, as all ppvS should be and a better variance of template. Then change accordingly.

*cant wait for 2k17 when the intercontinental ladder match will be a default Wrestlemania stipulation!
