Wwe 2k14 Create A Story question

Waiting for 2k16 and i got bored of 2k15 so switched to 2k14 to play some story mode (im on ps3 by the way) do i need to purchase the online pass to download stories or can i just not install stories?

Would be a bit pointless would it not if they end up shutting down the servers for previous WWE Games every few years or whatever.

 

Plus they remove a lot of stories.

 

Anyway I think you do need the pass.
