The District Attorney of Pennsylvania’s Lehigh County will hold a press conference this afternoon to announce developments in the ongoing grand jury investigation into the 1983 death of Nancy Argentino, the former girlfriend of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka.

Snuka was considered a person of interest in the 1983 death of Argentino, who was only 23 at the time. Her autopsy found that she suffered more than two dozen cuts and bruises, a possible sign of “mate abuse.”

The murder took place at the former George Washington Motor Lodge, where Argentino was found.

A forensic pathologist wrote at the time that the case should be investigated as a homicide, but Snuka was never charged.

Jimmy Snuka, a WWE Hall of Famer, is being charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter for the death of his girlfriend in 1983.

In 2014, The Morning Call published an investigation about the death of Nancy Argentino, revealing “a never-before-seen autopsy report that labeled the case a homicide.” Snuka was the only person of interest in her death, which happened on May 10th, 1983, but he was never charged.

The death of Argentino was re-opened last year, and a grand jury’s verdict came in today. Here are the details from her death:

Snuka had been at a WWF taping at the Allentown Fairgrounds on May 10, 1983 and returned to his Whitehall Township motel room to find Argentino, 23, of Brooklyn, gasping for air and oozing yellow fluid from her mouth and nose, records show.

Argentino was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital the next day. An autopsy determined she died of traumatic brain injuries and she suffered more than two dozen cuts and bruises — a possible sign of “mate abuse” — on her head, ear, chin, arms, hands, back, buttocks, legs and feet.

The autopsy also determined her injuries were consistent with being hit with a stationary object. In an autopsy report, forensic pathologist Isidore Mihalakis wrote that the case should be investigated as a homicide until proven otherwise.

Snuka originally told at least five people, including the responding police officer, he shoved Argentino earlier that day, causing her to fall and hit her head, according to police interviews obtained by The Morning Call. He later told police those five people misunderstood him, and said Argentino slipped and hit her head when they stopped along the highway to urinate.

Snuka, who is now 72, is married and living in New Jersey. He was recently diagnosed with stomach family. According to The Morning Call, Argentino’s family won a $500,000 wrongful death case against Snuka in 1985, but he claimed he was broke and “couldn’t afford a legal defense.”

Yes he did. Jimmy played the dumb savage while vince covered for him. Hall is also guilty of shit and so is several other people

Got to love how Vince will bend over backwards and cover shit up for certain people but when the biggest superstar he ever had says a racial slur he fires him and tries to erase his legacy.

Don't start with the Hogan stuff, his legacy has not been erased. People said the WWE overreacted but Hogan marks are just as worse. But Hogan isn't the topic of disscussion here.

Well he's as good as fired, take away his hall of fame too and erase his history while you're at it Vince.

Well he is a murderer, so it would be justified.

Yeah, people compare Hogan to Benoit, I don't think it's the same at all. One said words, the ohter ended lives. If Snuka's guilty, I'll be devistated because he was the man when I was a kid. There's a reason they had Snuka in Hogan's corner at the first WM, because he was so over back then, and they wanted him to give the rub to Hogan. But if he is guilty of this, then I'd say he has to get the Benoit treatment. I can forgive some of the dick moves guys like Hogan, Austin, HBK, Warrior, etc have done.. but ending an innocent life is not one of them.

Hogans off the hall of fame page, Snuka is still there. I was making a comparison, wasnt trying to turn it into a Hogan convo. I was making a point that Vince will try and help keep a murderer out of jail but he fires Hogan.

Vince helped Snuka 30 years ago. Hogan's comment were leaked recently.

Vince now is not Vince 30 years ago.
