I'd rather WWE spend some time building up a throwaway show then half-assing it just because it's normally a throwaway ahow. The addition of Cena/Owens 3 and Brock Lesnar's involvement helps turn a throwaway show into a must-see event, and that benefits everyone.

MITB, Summerslam, Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania shouldn't be the only shows with some sort of value to them. You can argue that saving the best for these shows is the better choice to make, but that doesn't mean they should just dump a pile of shit onto the rest of the PPVs. It's good knowing we're getting good content on shows like Battleground, and further knowing that they'll do even more for the bigger events.

I'd have booked Owens vs Ziggler at Battleground. Why?

Because Cena should be at home to sell the injury until the RAW after Battleground.

Ziggler should interrupt Owens on RAW and tell him that what he is doing is wrong and that he is standing up to him at Battleground.

That way, Owens will get another PPV win and his feud with Cena would culminate at Summerslam.

We noted before that Randy Orton missed Mondays WWE RAW because hes on vacation in Bora Bora with his girlfriend. Orton had asked for time off and wont be back until the July 6th RAW. With the July 19th Battleground pay-per-view taking place from his hometown of St. Louis, it makes sense for Orton to be on that show and a match against Sheamus is possible.

Preach it.
