Every game that does it does it. It can be slightly annoying but if you wanna get a full list on a DLC game, get the DLC. It sucks though...Take Far Cry 4 for example...the Yeti DLC isn't worth it but I gotta pay to get the achievements? *Censored* this shit! I actually like and approve of DLC achievements. If you're paying for the DLC, I think some achievements should be thrown in to sweeten up the fact that you're having to pay for extra content. The WWE games for example annoy me that they stick to the 1000, when they're having you pay for another half roster and more storylines. Add another 250 to that shit you *censored*s. Yeah...that sucks indeed...But take Dying Light for example...I loved the game so I'll buy the expansion but the DLC related achievements that are not part of the expansion shouldn't be locked such as the Arrows crafting ..I don't want to buy THAT DLC but I wanna unlock the achivements that are related to Bows since they are already in-game damnit Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was one of the first ever 360 games and had only 5 achievements, all for getting combos and as such you get them all within the first two mins of the game as shown here- I'd rather earn my 1000Gs than go this route cuz the Avatar 1000 is worthless (technically not cuz you know, 1000G but you know what I mean) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Generations Posted January 7, 2017 Report Share Posted January 7, 2017 Yeah, I agree. I like a good balance of achievements...like, FFXV was honestly perfect with achievements. The Fallout games as well. You should get a steady stream of them for playing the main game, and then have a few specialty ones that require more effort at the end. I hate games with achievements that are too easy, but I also hate games with completely unrealistic achievement goals...or online achievements for that matter. I think games should have a separate counter for online achievements. They shouldn't factor into the main 1000G. Also hate missable achievements that require multiple plays. Or those ones where you need no life "get all 10 characters to level 99" "complete every quest and there's 10,000" "complete the games 8 times and it's a 50 hour game" Or... 1004 finishers in one match on SvR 2011. Just need some of the main game endings and a couple of the DLC ones that I never got around to. Certainly nothing too hard. Except the endings...because I think I accidentally saved over my most recent save before the point where you can change your alignment...which means going further back than that... But since I always say 'f**k this' when it comes to online, I sadly don't. I hate games where you have to go online just to get a platinum.
