"Still no word on the extent of Yasukawa’s injuries. The official Stardom website has only released the following details, crudely translated by Google Translate:

place the World of stardom championship game of the Korakuen Hall tournament, champion, world ? tiger vs challenger Yasukawa ?? game will be incomplete and result in seconds of towel-up year. And ?? but has been transported to the injured hospital, tomorrow swelling of the eye badly, is a situation that re-examination. This kind of audience absence struggle is not the essence of stardom. Tomorrow very seriously this situation as organization, die each unit including the Fuka GM

From what I understand, the Stardom higher ups will be holding a meeting today to determine how to handle this situation.

Stardom champion Yoshiko seemingly started shooting on Act Yasukawa in the main event of today’s (February 22nd) Stardom show from Korakuen Hall, Tokyo.

At this time, little bit and pieces of reports are trickling in, mostly just fan speculation. Yahoo Sports has reported that Yasukawa received medical treatment backstage, and was then taken by ambulance to Tokyo Hospital. Judging by the pictures, Act looks to be in pretty rough shape. She’s only recently returned to Stardom after surgery on her right eye, which was nearly completely blind.

The fight ended the show on a very sour note. Of course, it’s pro wrestling, so there’s always the chance of this being an angle. Looking at the photos and the report from Tokyo Sports, I would say that’s unlikely in this case.

I’m very interested to learn the cause of the fight, what penalties Yoshiko will face, and the extent of Yasukawa’s injuries. I’ll report any updates as they come in.

I wish Act Yasukawa all the best in this time."

Scum, she should be blackballed, she was a piece of shit anyway.. what makes the whole thing more insane is in the reports about it, there is a picture of Act being dragged off the ropes because she is insisting on finishing the match.

A Few people are posting about on the interwebs that Fuka has broke kayfabe on the subject on her Twitter and stated that Yoshiko was scheduled to drop the title to Act Yasukawa and was jealous so she tried to injure her and apologised on behalf of Stardom.

Here is some more off somebody from tumblr

"Apparently even after all of that Act still had to be forcibly taken to the back because she still wanted to finish the main event. She could be heard yelling "I’m a pro wrestler!" as she was being carried out."

"Another shot from a fan on facebook of Act being restrained. This is the woman who took treatments that would render her infertile just to be able to keep wrestling, she went from borderline main eventer to setting up the ring and cleaning up after shows just to stay involved during an injury. To see someone who loves it so much get taken out of action AGAIN is just heart breaking. She just cannot catch a break."

The shoot Yoshiko pulled on Act was a *censored*ing nightmare and disgusting. I highly doubt shattering parts of her skull is a work like many horrible people are claiming."

I had been following this story since yesterday on the internet, just absolutely disgusting what Yoshiko has done to Act.

Some additional info from a couple of eye witnesses.

"Yoshiko was pretty much shooting from the beginning so it quickly degenerated. Act kept trying to bring it back on track since they were in the main event but every time she did she'd just get legit beaten down. The ref asked Stardom's owner, who was at ringside, if they should stop the match but he ordered it to continue (which it did, until Kimura threw the towel in for Act).

It was a shoot fistfight with Act throwing flailing punches and Yoshiko throwing accurate shots. Act was clearly outclassed. From the pics you can see Yoshiko at one point has Act on the ground face first, is pulling her hair to turn her face and target her eye.

Apparently even after all of that Act still had to be forcibly taken to the back because she still wanted to finish the main event. She could be heard crying and yelling "I'm a pro wrestler!" as she was being carried out.

Afterwards in the lobby there were no STARDOM girls present for almost an hour until Io showed up. Only the Ice Ribbon girls were there and Hiroyo even came out from backstage to talk to fans and hope to cheer people up."

And another one.

"not sure what I just watched but the main event was bullshit, plain and simple. It wasnt a match of any kind. show abruptly ending. Yoshiko beat the shit out if Act. Like, she beat the shit out of her face. Bloody as hell. Reporters are like wtf right now. Io apologizing to fans. Kimura threw in a towel for Act. Act was pissed but she was in no shape to continue. work or not, bullshit main event.

[Act] was pwned. they went at it punching right away, like a no shit fight and Yoshiko got the best of her three different times. it was so stupid that it had to be real. now the others like Nanae are in the ring trying to get the crowd to be happy b

He then gave a full explanation when it was a confirmed shoot.

The whole thing started with an angle, a wierd one. for whatever reason, Yoshiko wouldnt sign the contract. ok, so it sounds like a total work right?

so the main event introd are ready to start, with a table and chairs in the ring. work right?
so Act and Oedo Tai come out. Then Yoshiko and her gang.
talk back and forth on the mic, Yoshiko won't sign the contract. Oedo Tai beat her up. Act is gonna put her thru a table, but referee Kyohei Wada stops it.
ok, things settle down, Yoshiko leaves the ring and signs the contract, which is at The timekeeper's table with Rossi now.
Ok. Title match. Normal intros are done.
match starts and they just stand there. finally Act slowly makes her way to Yoshiko. Yoshiko slaps her and they start wildly swinging, Act kind of flailing, Yoshiko straight up punching and connecting.
Act is bloody and Wada stips the fight to have her nose looked at. Everyone at ringside seemed too startled, it wasnt smooth. Act kept going. at this point I thought this is all just a work, but damn they are laying it in. well, Yoshiko is.
Act is screaming to continue, so the match goes on.
They go at it again, not working, but fighting, and Yoshik is kicking her ass bad.
All I could think is wtf. Are they really doing this for a story?
They went at it one more time and Yoshiko punched away and Act was totally dominated.
In the middle exchange, Yoshiko did throw Act into the ropes. And she ran really poorly. Yoshiko just did a bodyblocj and knocked her on her ass. Nothing besides that resembled a match.
Then the ref was going to call the match, looking to Rossi. I was watching Rossi shake his head no, and Fuka looking like wtf. That is when Kimura threw in the towel.
Everyone was in a state of shock, Odeo and Kairi took Act to the back, Act screaming and crying the entire way. Yoshiko also left abruptly.
Then it was panic mode. This was 5 minutes into their mainevent"

Crazy bitch. I agree that she shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a wrestling ring ever again. I actually enjoy watching a good old fashioned shoot from time to time. Sometimes the guy even has it coming, like in the Great Antonio vs. Antonio Inoki match. This goes way beyond that though. This is probably the most brutal and uncalled for attack I've ever heard of in a scripted wrestling match.

The incident happens at 3:44 of this video.

I find it odd that the match wasn't stopped sooner, and that Act refused to stop fighting. I know Japanese wrestlers are notorious for being tough and wrestling stiff matches, but come on. What were they thinking? After seeing the video, I'm starting to think that maybe they went into the match intending for it to be really stiff and one sided, but Yoshiko snapped and went over board with the beating.
