Hard to imagine never having Starbucks lol. Girls actually date you? Odd. Lol Kidding aside, Starbucks is also trash. Costa does the best coffee. Actually scratch that, Greggs do the best coffee, and you can get a bacon roll in the morning. Anyway, here comes a REALLY unpopular opinion. I've never seen the attraction or the big deal about alcohol. Me neither my dude. I'll happily drink it when I'm the right situations, but I've never gone out drinking with the sole purpose to get wankered, nor do I buy booze to drink around the house. I enjoy sociable drinking, but I do not enjoy the actual feeling of being drunk. Nor do I like myself when I'm drunk. Certain herbs and narcotics however ... What even is that about...people just need attention? Lmao. Anyway, drinking has lost any "fun" aspect for me simply because I've associated it with work for so long...it's something I do to relax. It eases my body and mind. Makes aches and pains go away...makes me not care about negative thoughts that would otherwise pop into my mind. At this point in my life, I'm literally just self-medicating with alcohol. I rarely even drink too much anymore. It's just a thing, like..."let me sip on this whiskey or this gin...and then I'll feel better". If I abuse it, then it loses that effect...so I don't abuse it anymore. It's not hard to mentally comprehend that. But people being like that is amusing to me; Just like people smoking cigarettes to "be cool". Equally stupid. So they, through their years of hardwork don't feel it's fair or a necessity to want to take care of those that refuse to take care of themselves. They realize the handouts the left loves to promote breeds more shitheads and a never ending cycle of bottom feeders and that they would actually be the ones paying for those programs. They want freedom to make their own choices in their own lives. It's not their responsibility to take care of everyone. Furthermore, lower tax rates and small government means less regulations on businesses and such that will drive the free market. Free market creates more opportunities, opportunities creates jobs, jobs increase productivity. This leads to competing businesses opening which force competitive pay and competitive pricing for goods and services. Quality control goes up and products become more abundant. Something that can't happen in a leftist or socialist economy. One argument I see tons of conservatives make is that poor people shouldn't get handouts (although it makes sense) but the wealthy should, even though they don't need handouts. They even use hard work as an excuse, even though many poor people work hard while many wealthy people inherited the wealth, like Trump.
