Graeme Jones
Testing out Starfield mods on the Xbox Series X. Just waiting for a mod that bypasses the rank requirements for perks, as I hate grinding. Yes I do. Link to comment
Kman
Just finished 'Thank Goodness You're Here!'. It was a total joy, humor was right up my street. Got some downtime now until Silent Hill 2 drops in a week, which I'm cautiously optimistic for. The latest gameplay trailers have quelled some of my early anxieties on the game. Link to comment
Generations
Trying to get back into Starfield because there is DLC and mods now. Still need to finish the story another few times to get my max ship and armor though...which is tedious. Link to comment
Kman
Silent Hill 2 Remake. I'm SO relieved that it's good, I was so worried when I found out Bloober were the team doing it but I gotta give them credit they did very well here. Hope this leads to more Silent Hill in the future. Link to comment

Kman
As far as story and atmosphere it's completely unrivaled in the space, it's genuinely incredible. Bloober did a tremendous job in capturing the originals vision but also allowing for extra emotion and weight due in large part by the facial capture and performances. I can't believe I'm saying this but I do think they largely surpassed the original in almost every metric. However, it does overstay its welcome slightly. ALOT of the areas and puzzles have been expanded substantially which I do feel hurts its pacing. You also have to be aware that the game is comprised of mainly fetch quests, search rooms, to find keys to enter other rooms to get an item or code you need to progress. Rinse and repeat. If you're not down for that sort of game play then the later areas especially can be quite a grind. The combat isn't something to write home about either but it's not what the game is about. I'd recommend it to anyone for the story alone, there isn't many games like it and it is well worth you're time for that fact alone. This will be the perfect introduction for you to what Silent Hill is meant to be! Edited October 20, 2024 by Kman Link to comment
Generations
Grabbed 'Death Stranding' for Xbox. Really enjoying it. Feels like the perfect game to be playing with the current state of events in the US and the world in general. So many of the themes in this game are unbelievably timely, and the experience has been cathartic for me...like burying a loved one. I know a lot of people weren't fans of the game because they considered it "boring" or whatever...but it really is the perfect thing for me right now. Link to comment
Graeme Jones
Fallout: New Vegas | Xbox Series X Decided to begin yet another playthrough. Still my favourite Fallout game. Just exploring every nook and cranny, it's amazing how many locations I haven't found yet. And I've been playing this since it's release date lol. Link to comment

I f***ing love Death Stranding, I find it so cozy, the soundtrack is peak, the setting is peak and the game play is oddly calming for me. I can understand why people don't like that aspect of the game but that's exactly why I love it. I'm glad you're enjoying it too, I feel it get written off to quickly.
