LEGION
But if he's left NJPW, he surely wouldn't be in Japan? Regardless of it's WWE or AEW he signs with. He's a Japanese citizen and lives there. And who knows? Maybe the AEW contracts allow him to work for the Japanese indies again
Niffan
I imagine he would fly out to American AEW shows once or twice a month at maximum. Edited January 8, 2019 by Niffan

He a loyal one. Maybe one day he'll accept that WWE PC gig.
Generations
Rocky ain't exactly the type of talent that has a ton of options. He's kind of a mascot for NJPW, but not much else. I used to love the original Roppongi Vice, but Roppongi 3K is meh, and it's not like WWE is banging down his door.
Guest Fight Me.
He's more office than wrestler at this point. I've heard Jericho say they bring Rocky everywhere when negotiating with gaijins.
Generations
Right. I'm not discrediting his value. I'm just sayin...what else is he gonna do? Ronald McDonald isn't going to go work for Burger King. Lol. Edited January 8, 2019 by Generations

Willows Way
After seeing all the talent the got that they had to put on the preshow, im 100% sure NJPW will be fine even with a few losses. Their roster is still stacked af
Guest Fight Me.
Whatever happens, I hope they don't feel the need to bring back...Large Michael. Twas very happy to see David Finlay replaced him on the preshow, let's push him instead. Edited January 8, 2019 by Fight Me.
Willows Way
Or Jeff Cobb. Seriously push the shit out of that man
Motown Saint
I'm all for David Finlay getting more opportunities. Him and Jay White had a decent match last year. As for the Junior Division, Kawato should back soon, right? He could step in possibly take KUSHIDA's place. Generations
I never cared for David Finlay in the least bit. I'm not against the guy getting opportunities...but it also wouldn't be something that I would be excited for. Back when Jay and David were a team, I always liked Jay and disliked Finlay. Nothing has changed.
Monkey D. Jiggy
Not a huge fan of Finlay either, but for superficial reasons. I don't like his look.
EJ!
Not a huge fan of Finlay either, but for superficial reasons. I don't like his look. same reason i dont like Chase Owens. i often question if hes really okay looking like a lame.
Generations
Chase Owens and Finlay are both lame. They look too "soft" to be wrestlers. And Finlay looks like Donal Logue.
Guest Fight Me.
Kushida will be facing Tanahashi in his last match at the end of the month. This is for making him cry at the press conference. Prob gonna cry again after.

His tights also looks like they're two sizes smaller than his actual size.

Bushy.
Just caught up with NJPW from WK last year to now in just about a week. Anything interesting happen on NYD? Didnt seem interesting from the match card. I have not been into NJPW for the majority of 2018 and i thought maybe this show would drag me back into it but i guess not. Maybe ive been over exposed of the product these past 4 years. Thats crazy. I thought you were the one person still watching it regularly. After my binge, I definitely do miss it though. But I have no idea how 2019 is shaping up to be with all these guys moving around. Ill have to see if I keep checking up on it or pick it up again before the next WK. Motown Saint
I've been keeping up with it due to AXS TV having it on at 5am. With all due respect to JR and Barnett, I like this team of Kevin Kelly and Don Callis.
Paulie Walnuts
I'm cold on Finlay right now. But I was also cold on Jay White this time last year or so. And now I can't get enough of the guy. Hopefully Finlay has some similar success.

Motown Saint
After watching Juice's promo after his match with Cody, I'm happy that he's never going back to WWE. He's really stepped up his game in NJPW.
Paulie Walnuts
My NJPW World isn't working on my iphone, I'm like stuck on the homepage and it's just a bunch of japanese text with the word chromecast in parenthesis. Apparently theres no NJPW world for chrome notebooks either.
Generations
It is with great disappointment that we must announce that due to the ongoing 2018–19 United States federal government shutdown, we were unable to obtain visas for our Japanese talent who were looking forward to seeing our US fans at the New Beginning in USA. Posted in US politics section, but posting here too.
