Beardd
Thanks. That is actually super interesting. Subtle but the good kind of subtle. Def going to tune in if they ever wrestle.
Monkey D. Jiggy
Also read something about Kenny feeling betrayed by Ibushi when he left to "join" WWE, like he got abandoned. So it's a mix of a kayfabe story and a shoot story but the shoot is also a work brother.

classiq.
The stars of Japanese wrestling recently accepted their 2017 Tokyo Awards, which featured Tetsuya Naito winning pro wrestling MVP for the second year in a row. During his acceptance speech, Naito said winning MVP again shows hes bigger than the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Here are highlights, courtesy of wrestlinginc.com Representing New Japan Pro Wrestling and Los Ingobernables de Japon, your Tokyo Sports MVP is Tetsuya Naito. Id like to thank the Tokyo Sports editorial board for naming me MVP. A lot of people saw me and Los Ingobernables de Japon as a flash in the pan, that just as quickly as we got popular, itd all be over. Yet here I am, only the fifth in history to win this award two years straight. And I did this in a year where the IWGP champion held his belt from start to finish. What that means is that I exist on another plane. It means that Tetsuya Naito is bigger than the IWGP Championship. Thats not arrogance talking; thats something that Ive proven to everyone. https://twitter.com/reasonjp/status/953854354200526848?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw https://411mania.com/wrestling/tetsuya-naito-says-hes-bigger-iwgp-title/
Lil' Kazu
Today's Fantasticamania show was really good and easy to watch. No bad matches and the main was great, imo.
Beardd
Saw a bunch of fatties bitching about Naito and claiming that he is going into business for himself by saying he is above the title.

Probably the same fatties who bitched because he was "devaluing"the IC belt. *Censored* them.

Generations
Naito should go the Suzuki route and start getting more involved with the American wrestling scene.

Lil' Kazu
Today's FantasticaMania show wasn't as good as the last one but the 3 last matches were pretty good. Was expecting a bit more out of the main, though. Oh yeah and Hiromu needs to chill with those goddamn chops, got my boy Kawato's chest bleeding in a minute. LEGION
Same. Aswell as the fall and rebirth of Tanahashi and Nakamura (and Shibata, although he wasn't alongside them in the video).
Lil' Kazu
I hope we get Rush in the G1, he got a big win at Fantasticamania so I think it's a real possibility, he could take Nagata's spot.
LEGION
I just realized...the IWGP Heavyweight title is the only Championship that Okada has ever held in his career. That certainly makes him one of a kind
