Enuhito has Tweeted the following, noting that a new report will be published tomorrow in which NJPW IWGP Heavyweight Champion Okada says he will never go to WWE:

He could be sour by the way that TNA treated him. He may not feel as if he was taken seriously enough and it left a really bad taste in his mouth. His TNA stint was of course before he (and/or Gedo) came up with the Rainmaker character when he returned to Japan, but still I think TNA damaged his perception about working for a wrestling company in North America.

That being said, Okada has a match against Moose for ROH's 14 Anniversary show, but it's not as if he signed an exclusive contract with them.

It would be nice though to see the full report to get more context.

– At the NJPW New Beginning in Niigata event, Tama Tonga challenged IWGP Tag Team Champions Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma and teased that his partner would be a new member of Bullet Club not on the NJPW roster. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the mystery partner may be Tonga’s younger brother Tevita Fifita. Fifita worked for WWE as Camacho and TNA as Micha.

Former ROH World Champion Michael Elgin is now an official member of the NJPW roster … sources tell us he just signed a 2-year deal with the company.

Big Mike made his debut for New Japan in 2015 and clearly impressed backstage officials — cause he was offered a contract less than a year later.

Our sources say the deal allows Elgin to continue taking bookings wherever he’d like outside of Japan. This means the wrestler can still work for ROH, PWG and even big companies in other countries.

We’re told the wrestler is more than excited about the new deal and is planning to take his career to the next level over the next 2 years.

Congrats Big Mike!

That's cool for him. I remember Owens saying that Elgin was practically begging to be booked in New Japan for years, and that it was his dream to wrestle there

Well... Kota sure has enough star power and ability that he can do the Freelance thing and still be relevant. Plus, the double booking would obviously end up taking it's toll... But you gotta believe NJPW isn't thrilled about this. He figured to be a huge part of their future and now, they might not be able to count on him as much. I truly believed he would Okada's main rival in the future.

By the way, Ishii's quotes... so funny. AND they sound like the truth, to be honest. There's no one in ROH that I believe as a challenger to Ishii. AND ROH's main eventers still don't hold a candle to NJPW's. Although, of course, someone surely will take that title away from him soon enough when he goes to USA.
