What gimmick would you give to Adrian Neville?

So, rumor says that Neville may be repackaged as a mighty mouse-esque gimmick. Not the best idea, maybe the worst. But how could you guys handle Neville's promotion to Raw/SmackDown? Would you keep his high-flyer gimmick or would you repackage him with any other?

I thought about giving him a spoiled rich child gimmick. His name would change to Elliott A. Ferguson. He would have a butler (Alfred style) that would make him win everyone of his Raw/SD/weekly show matches, except on PPVs where he would show his true skills. Because "he doesn't like to waste time with normal matches in front of people who can't pay PPVs". Also, if cuts promos, he would cut them "via satellite" in his chalet (A set resembling his chalet). I think it could work pretty well.

What ideas do you have?

Should just be who he is on NXT, and let him do what he does best. It got him over with the NXT fans, and the main roster would be the same.

Oh, and he'd be over from the Red Arrow alone (the fans in attendance at the live shows I've been to marked hard for it, even though most didn't know who he was).

I'd keep him as he is pretty much. I'd have him debut in the Royal Rumble with a similar angle to Maven and Undertaker in 2002. He eliminates Rusev with a dropkick and then Rusev pulls him out. They have a match for the United States Championship and Neville wins with a rollup, maybe with a distraction from Ryback. He is the first person to pin Rusev on the main roster but in a way that doesn't damage Rusev's credibility AND Lana would still be able to boast Rusev's superiority over Americans and the fact that none can beat him since Adrian's English.

As the champion I wouldn't really have him in feuds as such but he would have a long reign with plenty of defenses. Even having him defend on Superstars against guys like Heath Slater and Adam Rose to bring something different to the show, I can't remember the last time a title was defended on Superstars. During this time, he would replace Tyson Kidd in International Airstrike with Justin Gabriel and they can go down the same route as Neville/Zayn.

Keep him as he is

In fact, have him go back to that almost heel thing he had going during his feud with Sami, though he'll need to be face for a few months first.

"Mighty Mouse" gimmick? lol, they really don't want him to succeed then?

It's really stupid when they build someone up in NXT only to change their name and identity when they get called up to the main roster. It would be like an MLS team signing Lionel Messi and renaming him Pedro Jones or some shit like that. It kinda kills some of the hype they've built up for themselves.

I did not read this post at all, not one word. I know it's a lot better than whatever WWE will give him regardless.

I think Neville would thrive early on if you pair him in a tag team with someone charismatic like Seth Rollins or Dolph Ziggler. Depending on if they choose to bring him up as a heel or face either of those scenarios work imo.

They do most of the talking and he gets in a few lines because he's not that bad himself, and the rest of the time is devoted to him awing the crowd with his ring work.

Eventually one turns on the other or they simply go their separate ways when he's at the point of no longer needing that assistance to remain over with mainstream crowds.

I was there and can confirm that this is exactly how it went.
