This whole Entrance removal thing is just pathetic, however as I can't afford new gen looks like I'll have to put up with it.That just reminded me of how out of place surfer Sting will be in this game. Seems like such a waste. Let's be honest, Sting is probably 'the' best exclusive/pre-order character the games have ever gotten. And they even managed to include both a Surfer and Crow Sting. You could even take a cheaky shortcut and Superstar Threads re-color Crow Sting to get a slightly knockoff version of Wolfpack Sting. I CANNOT BELIEVE they don't have a 2K Showcase Mode centered around Sting's career. Surfer through to Crow. 2K14 already gave us nWo Hogan, 92 Flair, Goldberg, Nash, Hall, nWo Macho, nWo Giant, which together with WWE12/13 gave us lots of other people Sting has interacted with as as either Surfer or Crow. NWA-style Road Warriors, '92 Arn Anderson, Bret Hart in his WM13/WCW 'Hitman' tights attire, Booker T (shorter dreadlocks from 2003 WWE Booker can 'act as' a late 2000/2001 WCW Book), Warrior, Jake The Snake, Vader, Dusty Rhodes, DDP, Luger, WCW Macho in cowboy hat etc, which could be slightly tweaked to match the time period. You could have had several hallmark Sting/WCW moments in the mode. - GAB 90 - Sting vs Flair - COTC 93 - "WCW Classic" aka International champ Sting vs WCW champ Flair to unify belts. - Starrcade 97 - Sting vs Hogan - Nitro - Sting vs DDP and whatever else there was... there's enough names around that you can gloss-over late WCW stuff like New Blood. Or hell, if it's a 'Monday Night Wars' 2K ShowCase mode and not centered on Sting, you get to 1999 and flip over to WWF. Instead Sting is just a random WCW wrestler, in a game without a single Nitro arena etc. I would've taken this valuable opportunity and done a "WCW vs. nWo" rivalry showcase (if not a full game theme), with a stacked roster, Nitro, Thunder, Saturday Night, and several major PPVs. Hell, they could've even thrown in the '99 Nitro arena as a bonus. There were so many ways 2K could have gone. Alas, what could have been... On a different note, did anyone see this yet? Graphics have never been a big deal to me in any video game as long as the game was fun to play. Really, all I want out of a wrestling game is the ability to create my own brand, my own version of the WWE. CAWs are a BIG factor in that, because not only do I and my friends create our own characters but there are many legends and past superstars that I want part of that universe, if you will. But without custom music...I donno, it's really hard to get in the atmosphere. I use the music not just for CAWs but stables, individual members of tag teams for singles matches, and current guys who might have an older theme I liked better. I also like to create unique versions of generic finishers for past wrestlers...Yeah Tatanka's finisher was a Saman Drop, but with CAF I could make one that was unique to him. I get that some of you are into the realistic aspect. You don't really mess with CAWs too much and you like to keep thing as realistic as possible. I'm not like that though. I love the WWE and the product they have but for the 25 years I've been watching wrestling I've always let my imagination go crazy with what could be. I don't want to just re-create what's on TV; I can just watch TV for that. So yeah, it's a big bummer for me for those modes are gone. And yeah, it's a deal breaker. I guess I should be thankful though, cuz I could really use the money right now, but I digress. Can these people at least try and pretend they're saying it like they would on Raw? Do they purposely want them to sound that way or what? It was the same way with Ricardo Rodriguez he sounded dull and lifeless as well in the game. Is it that hard to to get them to sound just like they do on the show? I don't think they kept the generic entrances for the My Career mode because 14-15 of them were for Divas and they didn't bothered to make the My Career mode available for both genders. They might add a few preset ones only for us to pick up from depending on our character and what fits the most out of them or we are getting a pregenerated by the game and can't choose one ourselves for that mode at all. Good point. But honestly, they should've just given last-gen those entrances. I don't know if I can discuss this here, but how early did people get around to h--king 2K14? If say Status finds a whole bunch of entrances that are hidden before next-gen even releases, then we can call shenanigans. He could get stuff moving pretty quick.
