We need something, it brings the better out of promotions, and allows guys to jump ship and get the pushs they deserve. Problem is most half talented guys are getting pushed due to a look. Someone needs to come in and create that competion. The Brand Split is trying to create that, but really isnt a direct threat. TNA was nearly there but 2009 came and it went striaght down the crapper. Now its in idle, if had of happened back the propley it would have been interesting. Especially if 2008 was 2014 and CM Punk showed up.

They need to be different. If you don't want to watch the WWE why would you watch the watered down version that TNA running right now? They need to bring the X-Division back in full force and put it front and center.

Former WWE and TNA Producer Kevin Sullivan announced that he has returned to the company.

Sullivan had been producing videos for Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling while running his own production company, KSTV, LLC, producing videos for NBC TV. Sullivan is the latest member of the GFW core staff to return to TNA following Jarrett taking over the creative process as an executive producer, following Scott D'Amore and Dutch Mantel.

Sullivan announced his return via Twitter:

According to wrestlezone.com, Maria Kanellis and her husband Mike Bennett will be signing new contracts with TNA.

The couple have been with TNA since January 2016, and have been in featured angles the entire time they have been with the company.

WrestleZone says that Mike and Maria will not have complete control over their bookings outside of TNA, but that they will fulfill independent booking that they committed to.

The Sheet has learned Impact Wrestling officials were very unhappy with Josh Mathews for saying “shoot yourselves” to the hosts of a podcast … and he got a stern warning for the future.

Mathews got into with someone on Twitter yesterday and told them, “Ohh, ‘Real Shoot Wrestling Podcast!’ Taking offense! ?? Did you guys book a great ‘SHOOT style promo!’ You should really shoot yourselves.”

Sources with direct knowledge tell us management saw the tweet and weren’t happy at all, something they quickly expressed to the play-by-play announcer for future reference.

The tweet has since been deleted. However, Josh still has another up that features a screengrab of his comment … which he quote tweeted to call the person a stooge for tagging Impact on Twitter.

We reached out to Mathews about all of this, but he wasn’t able to comment.

Nick Aldis (Magnus) was offered a contract to return, but hasnt signed at this time.

Drew Galloways contract expires this month, before the next tapings in March; TNA hasnt talked with him regarding a new deal as of yet.

The situation with the Hardys contracts is said to be up in the air. They have independent bookings lined up through April, but have told indie promoters when it comes to dates starting in May that they cant commit until they figure out their next step. WWE has made it clear they want them while avoiding any direct negotiations with contracted talent.
