Yeah, match was what it was. Unfortunately never recovered from those two top rope botches. I think a rematch would be pretty good though, hopefully in Daily's Place. They'd probably work a lot better in front of a crowd.

It was fine.

They shouldn't have had an entourage out there for both men. Title matches should always be competitors only. That's just how I feel about that. And it was Impact, so I was never expecting an elaborate victory. They'll save that for Kenny's inevitable celebration on AEW. Impact was only to serve as a location, and I think they pulled off that vibe. Given what it was, it is appropriate that it almost felt like an unsanctioned match. I was fine with that. As for the flow of the match? I got into it just fine. The botch was a shame...but there is always at least one these days. It was an insane attempt at a top rope move, and it's better to botch out of it than to end up killing someone.

Gallows and Anderson not winning the Impact titles set the tone for things early on. It just seems pointless to have Elite with all the other gold, and G&A with nothing again.

About the ref situation...I kinda like that they showed both refs being fair and impartial. That's a rare sight to behold. However, the way it was done was honestly too casual and removed all drama from the equation. You could read Aubrey a mile away. You knew she was never going to let Kenny cheat. I really think that ending should have had Callis making the three count just to screw everyone involved. If they had done the spot where Brian Hebner was down and Aubrey was checking on him...and they had done that as the actual finish, then you could have had Callis run in behind their backs and make the count to the shock of both.

Also, I like Swann a lot...but I don't think he's one of those guys who elevates a world championship. The Impact title already looked pretty weak due to his possession of it. A feeling that was only reaffirmed by Kenny running through him with very little trouble to win the belt clean in front of two different refs. I mean, let's be clear about it...Kenny didn't "get lucky" or "pull one over". He didn't have "the fight of his life". He just kneed Swann's gourd into oblivion.

I heard she was supposed to return 13 months ago at the TNA reunion show during Mania weekend but couldn't due to the pandemic. So she's had a whole year to prepare. That's awesome, so excited to see her back. It's great that starting her podcast and talking to the new generation made her passionate about wrestling again.

Never realized that was a giant ass Goku on Jake Something's thigh lmao

Don't think they've replayed that moment before when Rhino burning the ECW World and TV titles and told Vince to go *Censored* himself. All-Timer.

Taylor Wilde. ???

Every Samsung TV has this (though not sure how many people use this), so this is pretty cool. Similar to their Twitch channel, they are just replaying classic content all day. Plus some current stuff too, right now they are showing Impact from 2 weeks ago.

Lmao yeah that has to be one of the best all-time replies.

I think she could've made the jump somewhere. I don't think she would've left them high and dry as champ though. Good for Impact though.

I appreciate job loyalty and stuff, but...I'm always disappointed when people stay in one company for all of their glory years. For the sake of accomplishments, I like to see people branch out and win championships in other places. Like...it sounds a lot better to say you are a former Impact Knockouts Champion, former NWA women's champion, and former AEW women's champion to me than it does to say that you're a 5x Impact Knockouts champion or whatever the case may be. That's just my opinion. If I was a wrestler, I would definitely want to split my career between different places. I would definitely have a sense of like "Okay, I've done this one thing...so I should go do other things".

Eddie Edwards has gotten appendix surgery. Shame cause on Under Siege it looked like he was gonna be next in line against Kenny after Moose.

Honestly, Eddie Edwards is one of those guys who is always being pushed by Impact, and I just don't get it. Guy does nothing for me. There are a bunch of Impact people like that for me...Edwards, Callihan, Ace Austin, Josh Alexander, etc. Like...I'm not saying these guys are not talented. But, they're all very "on brand" for Impact...and there's just something about the whole lot of them that I can't really appreciate.

Now this is a hoss team.

What I loved was that I had completely forgotten Rhino won that trophy thing at Bound for Glory last year so it truly was a shocking moment. Kinda wish MITB was like that...out of sight, out of mind.

W. Morrissey (Big Cass) be giving out Big Test Energy these days. I think I understand why people think WWE would want him back as soon as his short term deal with Impact is up.

Kojima's debut was short but sweet. Hope his match with Joe Doering is a good hoss battle.

Didn't notice til midway that Josh was filling in for Matt Striker and now I'm mad lol

Cass doesn't understand how work friends work. Yeah they will kind of care about you when you work there but the second you leave they will stop contacting you. It will be a shame if he goes back because as soon as they seem him it will become hey when is Enzo coming back.

Impact talent swap with NJPW seems a lot better then AEW deal with either company. I am hoping Sami is the surprised name in the Casino Battle Royal. But so far only Omega and the good brothers are the only ones that jump between the two shows.

I think D'lo calmed him down because I also didn't notice to I saw someway say it in chat.
