More details have surfaced regarding Hanias departure from Impact Wrestling. PWInsider reports that she was not fired, but instead told Impact that she was done after being booked to lose to Su Yung. A report from WON this week said Hania was booked to lose in ninety seconds to Yung and was fired after she refused.

The decision from Hania took people in the company aback. One source told the outlet, Whos going to remember who lost that match a year from now or even a month from now?

As noted below, Hania says that her departure was a mutual decision, and there is absolutely no bad blood or hard feelings on either side. Im thankful, had a good time even met some cool people.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lashley was actually under Impact contract, for a good amount of money, through May. But once it was clear that he wasnt staying past that point, he asked to be released early, and the company granted his release. The feeling is that Lashley expecting a good deal elsewhere, whether that be WWE or New Japan, and was willing to give up the last three months of his contract to explore that.

During the episode of Impact Wrestling which debuted last night (Jan. 25), the promotion announced a new show for their channel on the streaming site Twitch.

The announcement was noteworthy for a few reasons - Impact pushing their presence on the Amazon-owned platform, more evidence of their partnering with independent promotions and for the ex-WWE star whose name is atop the card.

Feb. 3s WrestlePro Brace for Impact will be available on Impacts Twitch channel the following Saturday (Feb. 10).

If that show sounds familiar, it might be from stories like this one announcing Tenille Emma Dashwoods first independent dates following the end of her 90 day non-compete with WWE.

Dashwood was released at the end of Oct. 2017, and after a break is poised to be very busy in Spring of 2018. Could her schedule include joining Impacts Knockouts division?

We might start to find out when this show streams next Satuday.

Heres the full line-up for Brace for Impact, which youll be able to watch next Saturday here:

Tenille Dashwood (fka Emma) vs. Angelina Love

Fallah Bahh vs. Alberto El Patron

Bobby Wayward vs. Eddie Edwards

Chris Payne vs. Matt Sydal

Bobby Lashley vs. Danny Maff

Braxton Sutter and Allie vs. Nikos Rikos and Nikki Adams

Though Laurel Van Ness, real name Chelsea Green, is the current Knockouts Champion on the recent set of Impact tapings, eventually shell be making her way out of the Impact spotlight since she was granted her release from the company.

In a recent interview with the OrlandoSentinel, she discussed her exit from the company.

Its stressful, its crazy, its exciting, all at once, Green said. It was a difficult choice to make, and thats why Im so split excited and scared. But its going to be a really, really good year for me on the indies, hopefully putting on solid matches and wrestling in more countries.

Though WWE would be a great place to be, she expressed excitement to continue her career on the Independent circuit.

Id be crazy to say no I havent [thought about WWE], Green said. Its always in the back of your mind for any wrestler. It was the only thing in my mind when I started with Tough Enough in 2014. But Ive grown a little more open and found options I never knew I had before.

Now, if WWE calls tomorrow, that would be amazing. If Ring of Honor calls tomorrow, amazing. But now I have options. I never thought Id say that. When I first started out wrestling in front of 100 people, I thought, Chelsea, youre better than this. You should be working in front of thousands! But I was crazy. The things Ive been able to do main events, cage matches, all kinds of stipulations the opportunities there are at an all-time high.

She said its been difficult to leave her Impact Knockouts colleagues behind, but it helped to know she will see most of them during her independent travels.

Were such a small group that we feel like sisters, sticking up for each other and sticking up for the company, Green said. We all only put out positive vibes, and well always be friends no matter what happens.

She also talked about her dreams of wrestling around the world, her character, and more. Read the full interview here: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/wrestling/os-chelsea-green-future-20180116-story.html

Guest Fight Me.

I wondered what took Trevor Lee so long to get back in the tag team division. He's always had a partner with him whether it was Andrew Everett or Caleb Konley, but always focused on the X-Division title. Kinda wish he was still teaming with Everett right now though, especially with the stable war between oVe and LAX lol.

Probably he prefers a solo title but got put in the tag division since there aren't many full time teams there. I was hoping for Park, Park, and Park to become a mainstay in the tag division.

On my way to the Brace for Impact show. My friend who trains at WrestlePro is apparently on one of the matches that'll air on Twitch, so excited for him!

After announcing her retirement from the ring last year, Gail Kim wrestled the final match of her career on Saturday in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England In the main event of Southside Wrestlings Raw Deal where she defeated Kasey Owens.

Gail officially announced her retirement on the July 6th episode of Impact Wrestling, to happen at the end of 2017. At Bound For Glory 2017, she won her seventh Knockouts Championship in a Triple Threat match, defeating Sienna and Allie for the title and on the following episode of IMPACT, formally announced her retirement from professional wrestling and vacated the title in the process, ending her in-ring career with IMPACT Wrestling. So did Hania get a second chance or something? Or is this the same taping she got let go right after? Thought she was gone after her first night and I'm pretty sure she debuted when they still had the six sided ring lol.

She probably got fired after or during this set of tapings.

As confirmed in a vignette that aired on tonights show, The Machine Brian Cage will make his Impact Wrestling debut next week.

Cage made his debut for the company at the last set of Impact TV tapings in Orlando; he is best known for his work on Lucha Underground, as well as his appearances for AAA Mexico and a number of independent promotions across the country.

Cage previous appeared for Impact (then known as TNA) in a Gut Check qualifying match and an X Division tournament match back in 2014. He also trained with WWEs Florida Championship Wrestling as Kris Logan. Check out the promo below:

As was previously reported, former three-time WWE World Champion Rey Mysterio had been in negotiations with Impact Wrestling as of late last year, but the talks eventually died down.

According to a new report from PWInsider.com, Mysterio and Impact had pretty much agreed to a deal at one point, and Mysterio was actually just about to make his debut for the company, but something happened at the last minute when Konnan got involved in the finalizing of the deal. As some fans may be aware, Rey trusts Konnan to represent him in negotiations with various promotions.

Impact officials would still like to try to bring Rey in for their April television tapings, but Rey is said to be leaning towards WWE at this point. The biggest problem with WWE for Rey is the fact that they would like for him to work full-time, but Rey is only interested in working a part-time schedule.

Of course things went sideways when Konnan stuck his nose into someone elses business! That guy cant leave anything alone. Hes always gotta ruin something.
