There should be a decision made about how TNA will handle WWE Smackdown moving to Tuesdays anytime.

TNA is beyond thrilled with the overnight audience for Impact this week. The series was 65th out of the top 150 cable shows that night and did a really good number for the company.

For those of you who have asked about the Final Deletion segment (which far and away, has been the most talked about Impact subject when it came to the actual content of the show in years), all of it was filmed on location at Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy's houses with Jeremy Borash overseeing a small production crew that drove from Nashville to North Carolina for the shoot. Borash was the prime person responsible for the editing and direction of the segments, so if you loved it, it's on him. If you hated it, you know who to blame.

The genesis for this type of material was Dixie Carter wanting there to be fresh content on the show that would be spoiler free, since if it was filmed in the ring, fans would be watching and the results would be leaked out. TNA wanted to do something similar when they thought AJ Styles would be returning - film scenes with him and Kurt Angle in secret and theyn shock everyone by slipping them into the episodes without it being spoiled.

Everything used were props that were on hand at Matt Hardy's house with a lot of improvisation. There was a lot of additional material filmed that wasn't used but could be incorporated. All the drones that Jeff Hardy smashed were real. The birthday party set-up was from Matt and Rebecca Hardy's actual party for their son Maxell. Matt Hardy deserves a lot of credit for trying to do something unique and different, especially when he's at the stage of his life and career where he could be playing off "Version 1" Matt Hardy for the rest of his life. A lot of what he's been doing has been all his vision and he's really immersed himself in the "Broken Matt" character. His social media stuff alone has been off the charts.

Referee Kevin Keenan, who the Hardys knew from their time in WWE, was brought in from the Northeast for the spot at Matt Hardy's suggestion, but is not (yet) a TNA regular. He was great, especially with his facial expressions. Senor Benjamin is Reby Sky's father. We also haven't seen the last of him within TNA storylines. There's already a Senor Benjamin t-shirt at www.prowrestlingtees.com.

Given the way the audience number jumped, you can be pretty certain that TNA will be open to doing similar material from The Hardys' homes and other "on-location" material.

When Rockstar Spud was taken from the ring during the Ultimate X after being kicked by Braxton Sutter, that was a legitimate injury that left his teeth broken. It was just an errant kick.

The Final Deletion was "The Room" meets pro wrestling. Hardy Wiseau.

That's actually a great way to put it.

If you guys want a laugh, watch WhatCulture's reaction to Final Deletion. It's so cute because not surprisingly, the joke totally goes over their heads. Have you ever met someone that thought Borat was a real documentary? Thats them. There's some great lines like "I have never seen an entire episode of TNA and I pride myself on that" and "we could do better". These guys are true wrestling experts.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Billy Corgan fronted the money for the last set of TV tapings as an investment. The money was not a loan, and he did receive a percentage of ownership in the company. Exactly how much ownership he received has not been revealed at this time. There had been some conflicting reports that he was a part owner, while some claimed it was a loan that would be paid back.

Am I the only one worried about this Eddie Edwards vs Lashley title stipulation thing? Eddie Edwards winning is a LOLTNA move and makes little sense but Lashley winning would kinda just make the X-Division look like shit since he's going to be holding that title.

Maybe Eddie is going to have a moment where he's about to win and then Davey Richards returns to attack Eddie. Maybe even Moose debuting. I think its supposed to be one of those "live" episodes(which is really on a long tape delay"

Dave Meltzer provided an update on TNAs status on Wrestling Observer Radio today. He said that TNA has been looking for an investor to help keep the company going. As noted before, Billy Corgan and Aroluxe have put money into the company and they are minority shareholders.

The situation with TNA is said to be close regarding their sale. Theyve been attempting to sell shares of the company so that they could get more money and new ownership while Dixie Carter stays on as President. Melzers exact quote on the story is that, the TNA situation is coming to a head.

TNA is running like business as usual until the deal is done.
