.:JAMES:.
Hello all, It's been a long time since I've been on here and I'm sorry if this has been discussed. However, I thought of a cool idea for CAW making that I'm sure a lot would like. Since the PS4 has an optional camera and the Xbox One has a (now optional) Kinect, 2K should do something similar to EA Sports' "Game Face" idea where you can scan your face, and put it on a CAW, that way if you're not good at CAW making and you want to make yourself (or use the face of anyone else) it would be a much easier, more realistic result. Just a thought.

Thank you! I prefered it when CAW-making was actually challenging rather than just slapping on textures willy-nilly.
nystyle
Dont know why but 2k has said overall they wont utilize the camera options on either console.

Those were the days but it's no longer really necessary when we have the efficient tools not just to make CAWs of people easier but better as well. Mr.Dreadful
why not have both options. caws from scratch for those that are good at layering AND face scanning(or what ever will make it easier) for those that are NOT good at layering. Mustacio
SVR 06 still had the best caws of any series, without texture hacks.. Some amazing shit was made back then.
MrSmileySmile
I found it kind of fun following the formula and tryin to make sure I got it just right too. Overlapping layers juuuuuust so, making sure layers were the right size. I remember making one of Keiji Mutoh's tights way back in HCTP and just diligently making sure it was perfect. I think HCTP was the best year for Mutoh/Muta fans

The old system isn't in place thats the problem, with the old system you'd put a ! in the right place on someones face, get the colour and transparancy just right, use make up the same way and slowly build your own texture. Caw mode has been restricted to the point where textures need to be hacked, I prefer the way they looked when we created them with the old system. RenoOfTheTurks
The problem with some of the texture hacks is the creators don't always put much effort into portioning things and sometimes can be half arsed, but there are always people without using caws that make absolutely atrocious caws because A its hard to make them and B they don't put any effort anyway. I think anything that help making caws easier is obviously is for the best, but you're always going to to get some people that will slap a logo on a caws and call it complete without trying to perfect before deciding to call it finished. .:JAMES:.
I'm not saying do things to take away from the old ways of CAW making. Just from personal experience, I suck at morphing CAW faces and I've tried to make myself in every game since probably Here Comes the Pain. I just can't get the face right, so I figured if I can scan my face it would make it much easier so I have a more realistic model of me in the game, rather than a failed CAW attempt. Laycoolian
"Not this year". But truthfully, I can totally see them doing this. Probably not this time around, it would be too taxing, but I would bet that this will be a feature for 2K16 or 2K17. They really need this as an option to use those cameras for something. I'd also love a create-an-entrance and taunt based on your motions with the camera. That would be amazing.

keezer1
I want to see that technology so I can laugh at all the little kid faces on giant guy bodies in online matches.
Gadabout
I don't mind the textures but I do miss transparency. Hopefully if they ever do implement it, it actually works. If you've tried EAs for UFC it didn't even work a little bit. It looks perfect in their soccer game and then in the UFC game it just gives you a generic created character with vaguely similar feature. If you did that system with say, Christian and Edge, you'd get the same guy at the end.
