JayBITW
WM 2000 wasn't even that bad. Just lacked Austin and Taker. WM 2000 is nowhere close to being one of the worst. The WWF was on fire in 2000. WWF was indeed on fire in 2000. But Mania that year was just God awful lol. The lack of Austin and Taker hurt that show pretty bad IMO. And the main event not being Rock vs HHH, like it should've been IMO, didn't exactly help. One thing I did like about that show, segment wise, was the Kat/Mae Young segment lol King's reactions were hilarious

RazR
December to Dismember was by far, the WORST PPV in recent years to ever be aired. Didn't it also do one of the worst buyrates?

Crazy.
I remember Heyman wanted Punk to walk out ECW Champion but Vince sided with Lashley, ugh.
E#37
December to Dismember has like 3 matches didn't it? 2 announced and the rest was a weekly ECW show type card. It was really bad.
Royal Nakamura
And I think Bobby Lashley won the ECW title on that PPV, lmao
Scorpion™
He did in the Extreme Elimination Chamber, should have been Test or CM Punk. Mind you it was a month after Punk was in the ring with DX and The Hardys and had the crowd chanting his name..
lightning116
WM 2000. Nothing even comes close to how bad it was. WrestleMania 15? 2000 had three matches on there worth watching, whereas the others were just garbage. 2000 was poorly booked, that's all. 15 only had one good match and that was Rock/Austin. Everything else was just bad Crash TV. No, WM2000 was 16. The one with all four ways and no singles matches. I know WrestleMania 2000 was 16. For the longest time I kept calling that Mania 2000, not the year 2000 in general. 2000 was awesome, that PPV wasn't.

Mind you it was a month after Punk was in the ring with DX and The Hardys and had the crowd chanting his name.. Heyman even rooted for Punk to win the title so hard. However, I think Vince saw Lashley as more of a formidable threat than CM (who didn't look quite the threat, like Test or Big Show).
OPC
I don't think one is much of a fan of the product if a whole ppv is ruined without the presence of two wrestlers. Sure Austin and Taker were big deals but the rest of the roster were popular too and they worked their asses off along with the writers presenting actual build ups for everyone of those matchups at Mania 2000. Guess a singles match really has to be on the card for some though.

XXX.
Capitol Punishment was one of the worse ppvs I can remember in recent time. Riley went over Miz, and then they went nowhere from that, Del Rio beat Big Show in like 5 minutes, Big Zeke won the IC title, and then we had 2 semi decent 15 minute title matches. It was shit. Royal Nakamura
I hated the Christian vs Orton match with that shitty ending. I got what they were trying to do, but this was on a PPV event, could have done without it.
Handofdoom71
I don't understand the hate for WM XI, I really don't. It's not in my top ten or anything, but there are some far worse WM's that come to mind (2, 4, 15, 27, 29, etc.) that easily take the cake. Don't get me wrong, it's far from great, but it definitely ain't terrible, though I don't go out of my way to watch it either. I remember liking it a lot more when I was younger.
