Bushy.
Chris Jericho was on the Opie and Anthony show today on Sirius satellite radio. Jericho also talked about being fined a couple times when they banned bleeding. He told a story about a cage match he had with Batista. Batista cut himself in the match and when they got to the back Vince was furious. The next week they were in Manchester, England and he and Batista get escorted into a room. Dean Malenko (the producer of the match) and Vince were in the room. Jericho said that Vince turned on the DVD player and when the video plays there’s a white circle over Batista’s head showing the cut. Then a video is showed from a secret camera hanging over the ring that no one knows about and it shows Batista clearly cutting himself. Jericho wondered how much time they spent putting the videos together and joked that they could have just asked Batista and he would have admitted to it. Jericho said that they showed the video over and over. Vince fined Batista $100,000. Jericho said that everyone in the room was quiet. Jericho was fined $5,000. Jericho laughed a little bit and noted that Batista did indeed pay the 100K fine and he paid everyone else’s (Jericho and Malenko) fine. I found this very interesting as to how the current state of the WWE really has changed. Pretty sad. If you click the link you can read another peace where they talk about the Jericho-Brazilian flag incident. Muur
Damn that's a lot. Can understand why though since he cut, way too much though. I think I recall this match, wasn't it for the WWE title? Nice of Batista to pay everyone's fines.

Generations
JBL vs Guerrero was the first match I watched when I got the network. The shock factor never gets old. And the whole crowd just moaning when they see the blood leaking like a faucet. I don't think I've ever heard a crowd groan like that before or after. I honestly don't know how Eddie finished that match though. He must have been lightheaded as *Censored* by the time the closing bell was rung. Generations
Knowing Batista, he probably didn't give a single shit. Probably peeled 100K out of his shirt pocket, put his sunglasses on and said "deal with it".

The wounds heal quickly and it's quite sanitary for what it is. Gen (or anyone else) isn't asking for blood even once a week on raw. Just for those big matches. Imagine End of An Era with a little blood. Woulda made it better.

Didn't Bob Orton have Hep C when he came in during Randy's feud with Undertaker in 2005? AND he bled during one of the matches he was in. I'm not sure if WWE knew before hand but assuming they didn't, this probably played a factor in the "no blood" deal.....
Generations
Yes...Bob Orton did indeed put his coworkers at risk. However, I assume that has to do with the fact that he was there in such a minor role. He probably didn't get the same thorough medical check that the other performers got. Also, I don't think he was cleared to cut. I remember hearing that Taker was furious about that. In conclusion...Bob Orton is a ballsack.

It was wildly publicized that noone who was involved in managing the match in WWE knew about it beforehand and Undertaker was furious when he found out.
