For the WWE Universe, the letters WCW usually bring to mind Hollywood Hogan, Sting or even Eric Bischoff. However, in the Twitterverse, the hashtag stands for “Woman Crush Wednesday,” and it presents a weekly opportunity for lovelorn men to gush over an attractive member of the opposite gender. Our confusion over #WCW got us thinking: Which women of the squared circle did today’s WWE Superstars have crushes on growing up? Find out who pined for the blonde bombshell Sable, the elegant beauty Miss Elizabeth and the totally out there Luna Vachon!

Big E <3's Kimberly Page

Who said gentlemen prefer blondes? Big E expressed an affinity for darker-haired women, telling WWE.com, “It’s usually brunettes for me.” His crush was Kimberly Page, the distracting valet of Diamond Dallas Page and the founder of The Nitro Girls during WCW’s heyday. “Anytime she was on screen it caught my attention, whether it was with The Nitro Girls or her husband, DDP,” the former Intercontinental Champion said. “She was quite the good-looking woman.

Seth Rollins <3's Major Gunns & Gorgeous George

Ever the ladies’ man, Seth Rollins could not decide on just one crush. He chose both Gorgeous George and Major Gunns from WCW. These lovely ladies served as valets for Randy Savage and The Misfits in Action, respectively. “They didn’t look like wrestlers to me, because they weren’t,” The Architect of The Shield recalled. “They had platinum blonde hair and they were all dolled up and had banging bodies. And at 14 years old, seeing women who looked like that blew my mind.” [Laughs]

Curtis Axel <3's Luna Vachon

“I had the hots for Luna Vachon,” Curtis Axel said of the unpredictable Diva who competed in WWE in the mid-90s. While not a traditional beauty, Vachon captured the affections of the former Intercontinental Champion with her unique look and intimidating demeanor. “Can you imagine if that was your wife?” Axel said. “How awesome would that be? Having her just yelling at you with that raspy voice and the veins in her head? That really turns me on, bro.”

Dolph Ziggler <3's Miss Elizabeth

Dolph Ziggler gave a two-pronged answer to why Miss Elizabeth was his childhood crush. “Miss Elizabeth was like royalty as a child,” Ziggler said. “When she was getting ready to marry ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage, you felt like you knew her.” When Miss Elizabeth arrived in WCW in the mid-90s, The First Lady of Wrestling’s image and personality reflected the racier era of sports-entertainment. Even with her dramatic change in appearance, Ziggler was still smitten. “She became this more grown-up, mature woman you had a crush on, just in a different way.”

Kofi Kingston <3's Sunny

Kofi Kingston cited the down-to-earth appeal of his childhood crush, Sunny. “A lot of women on TV seem unattainable,” Kingston said. “But Sunny almost seemed like a tomboy, or like one of the guys.” Sunny is often cited as being the original Diva with her combination of good looks and intelligence, and served as a manager for many of the biggest Superstars of the 1990s during her WWE Hall of Fame career. For a generation of WWE fans, she represented the perfect woman. “Maybe it might have been a longshot, but I really felt that down the line maybe me and Sunny could be able to get together,” Kingston admitted. “It didn’t work out that way.”

The Miz <3's Sable

When considering his childhood crush, The Miz gave Miss Elizabeth an honorable mention but ultimately picked Sable. “I thought she was absolutely breathtaking,” said The Miz of the Diva who epitomized The Attitude Era with her outlandish outfits and uncensored personality.. The former WWE Champion knows all about blonde bombshells, recently tying the knot with former WWE Diva Maryse. “I always loved blondes as a kid growing up, even to this day,” The Miz explained. “That’s probably why I married one.”

Curtis Axel made me laugh? That's a first. And no wonder Bork Laser destroyed the Miz on RAW.
