The Real J.J. Jones
Like I said those are just my opinions, Invasion always felt different than attitude for me, and I've always felt that the ruthless Aggression era kicked in around Vengeance 2001. maskedmaniac
Oh, okay. I would call this current period the "Interactive era" because of how WWE has implemented social media so much into their programming. Everyone tweets, fans get to vote on matches and shit, superstars have their own facebook accounts, tout videos and other shit...
Mango kid
I would count that as universe era for all that

PG in my view is Universe. I didn't count stuff before the 80's because I don't care. What exactly is the "reality era"? What does that term even mean? Perfect example is how the fans got Bryan to rise up and become the main guy, and how Cesaro is half face, half heel. It's the reactions, wrestling ability and backstage stuff that matters, not the character WWE is pushing. Not to mention, the Undertaker being mortal and having the streak ends. In my view, the reality era started at Mania 30.

PG isn't a era It brought great change over a sustained period of time in tandem with the advent of the over-use of the terms "universe" and "superstars". That's the definition of an era. If an era can be named after a statement it can be named after a rating. The AE was the direct opposite of a pg/family freindly show, so it's only fair for the opposite to be named as such. Crack.
Still trying to figure out how the Ruthless Aggression Era started in 2001 when the roster wasn't even split nor did Cena debut yet to drop his famous line to Kurt Angle.

Moondog
to me ruthless aggression started the day of the first wwr draft That's like saying the pg/universe era started in 2006. lol definitely not, 2006 was WWE's last amazing year, it was the year when they really redeemed themselves, by bringing back DX and Jeff Hardy, and had interesting things going on as well as great matches (some of which were really bloody). the crowd signs themselves show the difference from 2005 to 2006, barely any in 2005 then absolutely teeming with signs in 2006.
