Batista shoves down radio show host at house show

Recommended Posts

WWE star Batista shoved down a radio show host on the front row at Friday's WWE house show in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Batista was set to face Big Show in one of the top matches when the "incident" occurred.

The radio host was Cam Carson of the Power 97 radio station, which was the local sponsor of the house show, according to their website.

According to Power 97 staff and fans in attendance, Batista also punched Carson after he continued yelling at Batista. Carson was then escorted out of the building.

It's unclear at this time if it was a planned spot between WWE and the radio station, or an impromptu verbal exchange that became physical.

 Remember when you guys were hyped about Batista? Hmmm...

We just didn't want him to win the Rumble.
Yea but why else would they bring him back. Wouldn't make sense to bring him back to job.

wait so punk could hit a fan and it ok but Batista does it he has to be fired

It wasn't okay but, assuming this would be real, it'd be entirely different.

But why would they want this to be a work? To sell the whole idea of him getting pissed off at the crowd reactions?

Bingo.

At a house show that only the crowd could see? Doesn't make any sense.

Considering he has 2 years on his contract, he could have easily be in the upper midcard for the mean time then get into the title picture later.

Yeah guys, you aren't allowed to change your opinion on a wrestler you previously liked based on his recent actions. Shame on you all.

On the contrary. The WWE is smart enough to know that anything that happens within their company, televised or not, will end up on the internet. By doing this, they are pushing the boundary between kayfabe and realism, making it more difficult for us to tell the difference between the two. That makes the situation interesting and keeps us watching their shows to find out what the reality of the situation is.

In short, McMahon isn't worth 1.2 billion for nothing.

Well, no one expected him to win the Rumble or headline Wrestlemania over younger talents.

Did The Brock win the Rumble? I dunno if Rock did. How many returning old fogies won the Rumble? Batista did not need to win the Rumble when a younger talent could have done so.

People crapped all over him the moment he did it, calling him unprofessional and unfit to keep the belt, citing that he's always been an asshole. I don't think it's much different to here.

(Think this is a work though imo)

Yeah, I remember people saying ow much they loved Batista when he started calling some of the current guys B-level talent or some shit like that. I think it only took one match, or the whole rumble for people to start hating on him.
