Bronson Report post Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) So the Hall of Fame class is being announced on Saturday. If Marvin Harrison gets in over Tim Brown, I officially give up. Edited January 30, 2015 by PM Bunk

glchitman Report post Posted January 30, 2015 The Pats are in a no win situation, if the Pats win this Sunday they only won because they cheated to get there, if they lose then they shouldn't have been there in the first place because they cheated. If this was the NBA or MLB they would have been suspended immediately and would face a possible ban depending on how long thy have been doing it for. maskedmaniac Report post Posted January 31, 2015 NFL ain't doing shiet! If Aaron Hernandez was convicted today of murder and somehow made available to still play some team would pick him up almost immediately.
Grenade. Report post Posted January 31, 2015 No professional sports league would ever do anything to jeopardize their Super Bowl/Finlas/World Series. And I have an extremely hard time feeling sorry for the Pats being in a "no win situation". Poor team that has unnecessarily cheated multiple times to get to the Super Bowl. maskedmaniac Report post Posted February 1, 2015 Brady's been done in both times by tough defenses that threw him off his game, not by Eli himself. The Seattle D has to be on Brady all night long for them to win.
Conundrum Report post Posted February 1, 2015 A-Rod winning MVP is a sham. Definitely think J.J. Watt deserved it more. Oh well, AP awards are just popularity contests most of the time anyway...
maskedmaniac Report post Posted February 1, 2015 A "sham"? He passed for nearly 4500 yards, almost 40 TD's and ONLY 5 interceptions, and was about 2 minutes from playing in the Superbowl on an injured leg. Watt's team didn't even make the playoffs. Without Rodgers the Pack miss the playoffs entirely, without Watts the Texans still miss the playoffs regardless.

Without Rodgers the Pack miss the playoffs entirely, without Watts the Texans still miss the playoffs regardless. That's the problem with these awards. "Your team didn't make the playoffs so your contributions don't mean shit." Last I checked, football is a team sport. And in my mind, Watt is more important to the Texan's success, than Rodgers is to the Pack's.
maskedmaniac Report post Posted February 1, 2015 Houston had a RB that rushed for over 1200 yards and almost had two 1000 yard receivers. They had one of the NFL's top rushing offenses, I think people are diminishing what Watts' teammates did this year as well. Let's not make it seem like he literally was the only good player on that team.
Lunchbox Report post Posted February 1, 2015 Watt changes what offenses have to do. You have to know where he is at all times. Hes that dymanic of a player.
maskedmaniac Report post Posted February 1, 2015 I would have been cool with Co-MVP's. They did it with Favre and Barry Sanders, not sure why they don't want to do that again.

I would have been ok with that too, honestly. I just think Watt should've had his name attached to the MVP this year, wether solo or co.

maskedmaniac Report post Posted February 2, 2015 If both teams have a 2 in the one's place at the end of any quarter I win $ at work. So far I got 3 quarters left and hopefully something along the lines of 22-22 or 32-22 as the score at some point.
