Diving Dropkick DLC glitch

I put this move on both Christian and Retro Chris Jericho, but it seems to take away the second slot? For example, Christian's second move is the reverse elbow, but when I try to hit it, it still does the diving dropkick?

Are both moves done from the same position?

Yes sir. If I press X, I hit the dropkick. If I move the stick and hit the button, he does the dropkick. When I turn the game back on, I'll try putting the dropkick in the second slot instead. I'll be back with results.

Now I swapped them, and I have the same issue but the other way around? It seems I can't hit the second slot diving move at all! Any help?

Never mind, my apologies. It seems they have switched the controls to pull this off this year. If I hold X, instead of using the control stick, he uses the alternate move. This can be closed.

For the second move you have to hold down the "X" button.

yeah took me a few games to notice that they changed aerial moves this year, to holding the button to preform the 2nd one lol

Haha. I have to admit, not only was I surprised with the mechanics change, I was surprised it took me until January and a DLC move to notice it..
