Okay Legolas in the hobbit i can understand people getting pissed at that one i don't understand why Peter Jackson is doing a trilogy on a 300 page book with like 2plus hours a movie while the original 3 did 2plus hours on a whole book that kinda seems stupid

While it's called The Hobbit they have added a lot of things from Tolkiens other Middle Earth writings such as the Unfinished Tales and the Appendices. So it isn't just The Hobbit story, its that and more.

I'm fine with them stretching the Hobbit out. Like this will probably be the last time Peter Jackson will be making anything Middle Earth related in film, and a lot of this stuff being added into the Hobbit can't be their own movies. So the Hobbit being this venue for Peter Jackson to bring more middle earth elements to the big screen is a good thing to me. The more the merrier really. I for one have thoroughly enjoyed both the Hobbit movies so far.

And I completely agree with you, LOTR didn't give us enough Middle Earth, so The Hobbit is doing that well. For example giving us more on the Dwarven culture, thats what I love, Dwarves are my favorite in Tolkiens Middle Earth and I love seeing them on screen. Its just some of changed things such as Legolas is hard to get used to.

The one amazing thing Jackson did was distinguishing Thorins Company. Tolkien didn't distinguish each individual Dwarf enough as a lot of them were just sort of, there and the way Jackson built upon that and made everyone of them recognizable is great!

Forgot to mention the Harry Potter novel series, considering I've read each book at least ten times and never get tired of it.

The last one I finished was The Order of Phoenix. I need to get the other ones.

Sorcerer's Stone is still my favorite.

Goblet of Fire is still my favorite! You might not like the ending of Deathly Hallows, so don't have a high expectation. I found it underwhelming, to be honest.

I didn't like the Prisoner of Azkaban. Never gotten my attention. Goblin of Fire was epic.

I'm going to get the Half-Blood Prince soon.

It was decent. Sirius Black was a great character.

You'll like Half-Blood Prince, it was good.

The publishing company thought that it would sell better under Sorcerers as to Philosophers.

Why?
