Avatar Mallen
The WWE Xmas Special For the first time in 8 years, the WWE Xmas Special comes to community creations. The annual spectacular features the return of superstars and legends alike all competing for glory and championship gold in one of the biggest events in the WWE calender. Here's the match card and how they came about: Tag Team Match: WWE Tag Team Championship The Shield (Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) © vs. Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay & Tensai) The Shield have been on a roll after winning the Tag Team Titles and United States Championship against the New Age Outlaws and Ryback at Vengeance earlier this year and successful title defenses have solidified their reigns. Now new number one contenders Tons of Funk supply the Tag Champions their biggest challenge. Will the wily Shield defend their gold or have they lost their funk? Fatal 4-Way Match: Intercontinental Championship Wade Barrett © vs. Ryback vs. Damien Sandow vs. ???? The Barrett Barrage puts his title on the line against the Human Wrecking Ball, the Intellectual Savior of the Masses and a mystery competitor. The Miz was originally scheduled to compete but after a "broken toe" he has pulled out with him saying that he has found the "ultimate replacement". Triple Threat: United States Championship Dean Ambrose © vs. JBL vs. Sgt Slaughter A surprise appearance by Sgt Slaughter on Raw issued the challenge to the "anarchist" Dean Ambrose, saying he is a disgrace to America and that he doesn't deserve to hold that championship. At this point JBL appeared and brought up Slaughters insulting Iraqi sympathiser days and wondered if at he was truly American himself. With these arguments, Vince McMahon made the Triple Threat for the United States Championship. Legends Money in the Bank Ladder Match Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair vs. Razor Ramon vs. Ricky Steamboat vs. Bret Hart vs. Ted DiBiase 6 of the greatest legends of all time compete in a Money in the Bank ladder match, this one guaranteeing a World Championship match of their choosing, any time for up to a year. Clash of the Titans The Big Show vs. Andre the Giant (w/ Bobby Heenan) For years the Big Show has been the most dominant superstar in WWE, but there has been bigger than him. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan laid out the challenge to the Big Show to face Andre the Giant to see who the greatest big-man of all time really is. Singles Match Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan (w/ John Cena as special outside enforcer) A match the WWE Universe has wanted for years, it finally comes. The Texas Rattlesnake battles Hulkamania for the first time, the era of "Drinking your milk and taking your vitamins" takes on the era of "drinking beer and whoopin' ass". And to ensure that there is a definitive winner, John Cena will be the special outside enforcer for this contest, much to the dismay of Austin who has put Cena's loyalties to question. Mr. McMahon then laid the gambit saying that if Cena calls it down the middle, he'll earn a WWE Championship opportunity at the Royal Rumble. (Was meant to be a special referee match but obvs I can't have that) Elimination Chamber: World Heavyweight Championship Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk vs. Diesel vs. Goldberg vs. Batista vs. Mick Foley On SmackDown, it was announced that the World Heavyweight Championship would be defended in an Elimination Chamber and the combatants would be announced that night after qualification matches. CM Punk beat Dolph Ziggler to qualify and immediatly after his victory it was announced that Mick Foley would compete too. Later, Diesel beat X-Pac for a spot, and Goldberg was announced as an entrant. In the main event, Alberto Del Rio defended his championship against Daniel Bryan and the final combatant was announced; the Animal, Batista. 4-Man Elimination Match: Vacant WWE Championship The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho vs. The Rock vs. Macho Man Randy Savage At Hell in a Cell, The Rock was stripped of the WWE Championship having failed to stop his assault on Bret Hart. Since then the WWE Championship has been vacant following several no-contests. So Mr. McMahon decided that the Xmas Special would be where a new champion would be crowned. At Survivor Series, an Elimination Chase took place and the Undertaker was the first man entered into the match. The next night on Raw, The Rock earned his place and it was announce that a legend would join them in the contest, the Macho Man Randy Savage. At the Xmas Special Kick-off, a 10-Man Battle Royale took place and Chris Jericho won the bout, last eliminating Brock Lesnar, to earn the final spot in the match. With 4 of the biggest stars in the business and a brand new WWE Championship, it's all to play for in this epic main event. The event will be uploaded on December 23rd and be played as the superstars who won the matches as they happened. Update: The upload's been delayed but it's finally up on PS3 CC!
