Attitude V Universe Story!

Recommended Posts

Just thought people might be interested in this as I've heard people wanting to play long in depth well made stories.

Attitude V Universe 1

Plot/Theme

My story is a very in-depth, thought out story.

Basically a revolution is started to bring back the quality of the attitude era and a certain superstar of this generation kind of kicks this off.

But what will separate my story from the many Attitude era vs PG stories out there will be that it wont be one sided but both sides will have very good arguments and points about why their respective era should be embraced. If any one's ever read 'Marvel's Civil War' it will be similar to that, where it's up to the user/player YOU! must decide who's side your on, Universe or Attitude and the points I will bring up will not make it an easy choice at all. Expect some awesome promo's, voice of the voiceless shit and some deep thoughts about the future of the WWE and young stars that are getting crushed by the old Superstars and not giving them any room to grow.

Deep stuff.

It's only the first part so not much proper attitude vs universe stuff yet but it's more how the attitude era revolt/invasion got started.

Length

Over 150 scenes and over 40 matches for the first part.

Superstars

I wont name them so I keep the element of surprise, but around 38 different Superstars make an appearance of some kind.

It's called "Attitude v Universe 1" or you can search my PSN name "DoubleO88".

Thanks.

Been making my way through this. I'm up to the final Smackdown before Survivor Series and it's been a blast to play. Reminded me of the RTWM mode from the older WWE games. Every talks like how they would they would in real-life and the dialogue is pretty damn awesome. At first, it feels like a lot of the matches on the first few weeks are just there to fill time but as the story progresses, all the minor matches scattered throughout the whole thing ties into the main storyline, which I thought was really awesome.

I only have one major gripe. That would be the constant run-ins in most matches. I get how it ties into the story, but it would be nice to have some of the run-ins replaced with mid-match cut-scenes to keep things fresh.

Still, I can't recommend this enough. One of the better stories I've played since Story Designer was brought in years ago. Great work, man.

Thanks for the in-depth review, appreciate it.

Just wait till you start Survivor Series, pretty awesome stuff happens.

Haha I love how it you kinda got annoyed at the run-ins, if you were talking about the run-ins I think you were, that was the whole idea, to get the player annoyed just like the superstars were in the story.

I just hope it wasn't annoying to the point you didn't want to play anymore haha.

Thanks again, hope to see your final (spoiler) review after Survivor Series!

Just finished the 2nd raw, so abit to go. hopefully done by weekend or monday. Will you be doing a part 2, or different story ? I like the way you type it out. So will be definitely playing yours alot. I'd post more stuff but don't want to ruin for others.

Site notes to bad you can't have a whole promo in one cut scene. I lost the main event on first raw so if won does the whole story change ?

I've been playing through this and thoroughly enjoying it, but I just reached a part that I'm frustratingly stuck at and thought I'd give some feedback - to avoid any spoilers, at the second tag match at SS - the tornado style tag match that the qualification is "critical (overall) damage (any)," I can't get past it. I have no problem beating up on my opponent, but my CPU controlled partner continuously manages to pin his opponent before I can get my opponent to critical. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, as I manage to get my sparring partner to red in both head and back, but the computer doesn't recognize it. Am I interpreting the rules wrong?

@VanilaSlice I have plans for a part 2 yes but I've been seeing people complaining about bugs and freezes when using more CAWs and the future of my story will be needing more CAWs. If it doesn't give me too many problems a part 2 will be made but if it does I might just leave it. But for now expect a part 2.

@thnostik Yeah I made that part waay too hard dunno what I was thinking, I should've tested that match more.

Basically the only way I managed to do it was to cheat a little; use 2 different controllers. One controlling you the other controlling the opponent and get the title or sledgehammer and beat up your controlled opponent outside the ring. It should be a lot easier. And you have to get EVERY body part red, arms as well. I shoulda just made it torso or something, thats my fault.

If you have 4 controllers just control all 4 wrestlers and get past that match.

That match was a design flaw on my part.
