Zema Ion was on Quinn's AM Army to promote his upcoming appearance at Primal Conflict Wrestling on November 30th.

- He confirmed that he's still under contract with TNA but is free to take whatever outside dates he wants right now. He admits that he hasn't been in contact with TNA for a number of months.

- He addressed the controversy over his failed GoFundMe.com fundraiser to help with the cost of his medical bills ($30,000). He said that he didn't expect TNA to help out, since he was an "independent contractor" and he knows how it works. He said that TNA upper management were mad at him for making the company look bush league for starting a fundraiser. but he told them that he really needed the money and that was the reality of the situation.

- He said that his girlfriend started the fundraiser, but she was unaware that it might lead to problems with his employer that would potentially arise from it.

- He said that he would like to be in WWE in the future, but he's happy to be where he is currently.

Absolutely disgusted with TNA. The guy can't afford the surgery, TNA won't help him at all, but they're mad at him for asking for donations cause it makes them look "minor league"? What a bunch of pricks. I can understand TNA's position to not help financially, but to not even show some support by promoting the fundraiser on there website, social media or show is pathetic.

Hey TNA, the easy way to avoid looking bushleague is bellying up and paying the bills.

This. Regardless of whatever financial problems TNA might have, if they could afford Hogan, they could belly up for Zema.

And TNA getting mad over Zema about him making them look bush league with this fundraiser thing makes TNA look even more bush league. So what we have is a self-fulfilling prophecy, or something like that.

It's very sad to see such a great talent like him not to be supported by the company he is working with.

I hope he got to cover the bills so he can have the surgery and I really hope he will enter the WWE and find success there someday in the future cause he definately deserves it.

Even if they did pay, TNA's current financial situation is why they aren't on the same level as WWE. WWE pays for rehab for ANY ex-WWE star.

No, they don't.

Everyone that is willing to go into rehab gets their support except Chyna I think.

This. ^ It's not WWE's fault is someone doesn't want to go to rehab, they do what they can. WWE can't push someone into rehab. I didn't know Chyna was blacklisted but I can see why. Porn, heat with Triple H & Stephanie McMahon, and just her overall attitude.

I remember an article that mentioned him. I think he didn't reach out to them or failed with their help before or something.

But at least Jake is trying to get help(and doing pretty good so far), while some just can't be helped no matter what.
