It repeats same storylines, cutscenes and when using rivalry manager, the rivals face each other almost every week repeating the same match types like falls count anywhere, extreme rules and submission matches. Just not that interested with it anymore.. Yeah same here , the only reason I am still playing universe is because the A.I is really fun to play against , If the A.I was like last year I wouldn't still be playing Universe Mode. Fella4theBellas Posted November 18, 2013 Report Share Posted November 18, 2013 Yeah universe is a little buggy with putting same matches together for example: In my 1996 Universe The Rivalry was Diesel vs HBK for the Title. Match one was Diesel vs Bret Hart I went in and changed Brets Universe attire to his Wrestlemania 12 attire and came back and the match was now changed to Diesel vs Shawn extreme rules. I just don't understand the logic universe uses. If match one was suppose to be Diesel vs the number two contender why would it then default to HBK why not the third contender? There are tons of glitches with entrances and created arenas in Universe Mode Yeah, the entrances get a little wonky sometimes and a few of the finishers don't work exactly right (the ring post figure four for one, sometimes it has you do a backhand slap instead) and I've had a few freezes post match but nothing nearly as bad as last year where it would always freeze up after 1-3 matches. It won't dissapoint you It seems to me that if you book matches on your own and you don't use rivalry manager , more cut scenes appear, old and new. Interesting maybe I will try it soon. Isn't it annoying though that you have to setup all the matches? How about if you do have rivalry manager turned on and you change the matches, will cut more scenes happen. e.x John Cena vs CM Punk [Rivalry Match] - I change the match to John Cena Vs The Rock , you think I will see new cut scenes if I keep changing matches for rivals? If the allies and enemies are correct you will get as many cutscenes as you want. I think a problem with the rivalries is the same problem we had in WWE'13, that the stories require a certain outcome of a match to progress. The cutscenes you get from editing the matches basically count as random cutscenes and won't appear in the news or the rivalry history (I guess).
