Scott Hall recently interviewed with SLAM! Wrestling and discussed a variety of things, including his immediate future and upcoming events, his son Cody, working for WWE again, steroids in pro wrestling (and sports, in general), plus more. Below are some of the highlights:

On steroids in pro wrestling and sports:

"If you're going to try to be a pro athlete, why not use everything available to you? I'm not trying to get too involved in (the discussion), but I don't have a problem with pro athletes being on steroids. You read about all of these baseball players getting in trouble, but I think there are a lot more important things going on in the world today than whether pro athletes use steroids to perform good. I'm not a big baseball fan, but I remember back when all those guys were hitting home runs all the time, and it was just more fun to watch."

On his son Cody's plans in wrestling:

"Now that Cody's breaking into the wrestling business -- he's had 20 or so matches so far -- we're looking at some international bookings to get him seasoned and ready for anything that may happen for him in the U.S.""

On working for WWE again:

"It would be a dream come true for me but I want to clarify, it's not up to me. If it were up to me, then I would love to have the Bobby Heenan job. I was always a big fan of Bobby Heenan. I would love to wear the headphones and a tacky sports coat, and be the heel commentator who just managed a select couple of guys. Bobby used to put down the headphones and head to the ring to manage Mr. Perfect and then Ric Flair. In my own fantasy world, created solely by me, I would love to be the Bobby Heenan broadcaster and then walk to the ring with Cody and maybe manage a sweet tag team and maybe one Diva. That would be my stable, and I'd be fine with that."

That role would be awesome for him.

You know, I really like what he's saying 'cause it's so sincere, wether it might have been the correct or even reasonable answer.

This.

And I would love to see Scott "The Brain" Hall

Also...he's the first legend/alumni who doesn't want to return as a in-ring competitor

I would like to see Hall given a go on the desk, but he can't be trusted to stay sober.

You haven't seen DDP work his magic.

DDP isn't God. Jake has relasped numerous times with alcohol since hooking up with DDP. The same can happen to Scott.

Thankfully, his son lives with him, so I'm sure that tighten's Hall's leash a bit.

And I'd love to hear Scott on commentary on a weekly basis.

Jake relapsed once. Not multiple times.

Also, Hall isn't Jake, they are 2 completely different people. So, if one relapses, it doesn't mean the other will as well.

Yea, no. He's relasped more than once. The airport situation was one, and the other which happened a few months ago, those being the only two which were documented to us fans. Dylan, DDP's intern did an interview a week ago and states that Jake has relasped multiple times since living in the Accountability crib. DDP, Jake and Scott Hall were on Real Sports, and both Jake and DDP stated that he still has issues with alcohol.

As far as "Jake and Scott are two different people" nonsense. It's a moot point, they're both human, and not once did I say "because it happened to Jake , it'll happen to Scott". I said even with all of DDP's help, Jake relasped, and it CAN happen to Scott. Because newsflash, they're human beings and addiction isn't just some thing you gert over.

Some of you tend to give DDP way too much credit, yes he's a great guy for giving these guys a place to stay and a method and help to overcome their problems. But it's been proven its not a sure thing and even that has it's cracks and holes. Sorry to burst bubbles with little points of reality.

You can't take anything away from DDP regarding his rehab stuff, no rehab is full proof and the program simply doesn't matter.
It's all up to the person in that program. DDP stepped in and did something most people wouldn't dream of doing, and that's dealing one on one with a drug addict on the verge of death.

I'll give DDP a world of credit for stepping into a role the 2 people apparently needed very badly, that being Hall and Jake.

In the end it really doesn't matter what you or I think, both Jake and Hall have spoken about how pivotal DDP has been in saving their lives, and that's what matters.

Who's taking anything away from DDP? I'll wait for that answer. Fact is when someone says something along the lines of being skeptical that they'll stay clean and someone responds with "you haven't seen DDP work his magic", it's wrong. DDP by himself isn't saving lives, he's just one piece of the puzzle, and he'll tell you himself his methods aren't foolproof.
