Smackdown vs Raw 2008 (only wwe game i ever returned) and 2011 were, IMO, the worst in the series.

I kinda laughed though when playing season in HCTP and rikishi and benoit have a feud and rikishi says "you dont even stop to sign autographs for the kids" and benoit says "I love kids........"

oh my ..do i like that part lol

I was thinking for a sec that Locker Room Mode had returned to WWE 2k14.

Anyway I remember paying tribute to Eddie with my locker room. The orniments such as a DX figure or Van Dam's MiTB briefcase were cool. Plus the banners of HBK, Bret Hart, Stone Cold, etc were awesome too.

Overall though it offered nothing and seemed a waste tbh.

Anyway if anything I'd love the Triple Threat Tag back. I think SvR2007 was the last game it was in, right?

nWo & Goldberg are the 2 most overrated things in Wrestling ever. Like them but still a bit overrated

I mean, that doesn't have to do with anything, but how do you figure? Not a lot of people were saying that they were great in the ring, and that's the only thing they can be overrated for. The fact is, both Goldberg and the nWo were HUGE in wrestling and made a lot of money and got a lot of ratings.

...something that can't be said about the guy in your sig, for instance.

Anyway, I really really liked WWE'13. It was fun to play, the Attitude Era mode was cool and the CAW mode was good (not to mention the Community Creations worked). I get the WWE games to do my own fantasy league and play against my friends, and this game had the most expansive roster around and let me do that. Plus, it was fun to win the created titles from each other and then make them our own.

SVR '06 had one of the best rosters ever for me personally. It had Jericho, Angle, Benoit, Guerrero, 3 Hogans, Bret Hart, Million $ Man, Jake the Snake, Andre, all before most of these guys left the company, cut their hair, murdered someone, made porn, or passed away.

That was a good game and had a great roster, but this one has most of those guys and more. Not to mention it'll have all the current stars you'd want to play as, polished graphics, updated match types, ect.

Among my all-time favorite wrestling games are Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth, WWF SmackDown! 2, and SvR 2006. Here Comes The Pain was good, but not as good as SYM in most departments. Definitely overrated, imo. I haven't bought an N64 yet, so I can't comment on No Mercy.

My best-looking CAWs were probably in 2007. Seriously, my female CAW looked absolutely beautiful in that game. As for the game in general, I felt it was so similar to 2006, it's really hard to judge. I think they took out Hogan's taunts in 07, though.

It's hard to name a #1, but SYM was probably the pinnacle for me (overall fun factor). That was the only game that inspired me to create wacky joke characters. You should've seen the superhero free-for-all I had the other day. It was Spider-Man vs. The Incredible Hulk vs. The Hurricane vs. Hulk Hogan vs. Super Smackdown vs. Rawman. I had a blast!

I'd take the controls and season mode from Shut Your Mouth, backstage areas and hardcore matches from SmackDown! 2, moves and stats from Here Comes The Pain, today's create modes (but with all the parts from previous games that have been removed), WWF SmackDown!'s lack of gender restrictions (women with IC title ftw), soundtrack and submission systems from the first SvR, and roster from WWF Attitude and WCW/nWo Thunder. That'd be as close to a perfect game as you could get, imo.

^ Oh, and the SvR 2008 Extreme Rules match features like the fire and the hardcore resurrection ability. Sorry for rambling. Every game has its strong points and its weaknesses, probably because of THQ's golden rule: For every one step forward, take two steps back.

SvR '11 had the promise of being a very special game. The roster was awesome, it had tons of DLC, a bunch of true legends, way better graphics then the previous years game, and really all they had to do was build on the same good gameplay from SvR 2010, but what did they do? They made the action WAY slower, removed a few hundred moves, made the A.I dumber, threw in a pin glitch (those are always fun), and ruined CAW mode by taking out the color wheel and transparency. Honestly, if SvR 2011 had been SvR 2010 with a graphics and roster improvement I would still be playing that game.

WWE 2011... i honestly tried my best to like it. Having David Hart Smith and Davey Boy team up was totally epic but Universe mode A JOKE that they pretty much forced on you. Was also cool to play as Vance Archer and such but the deal breaker for me was how they destroyed being able to defend titles in Exhibition mode.. For me it made the game lose its spark very quickly, I only rented it from Gamefly but did purchase the DLC and really enjoyed playing as Lex. I might actually buy it sometime if i see it for under $10 somewhere. I also agree 07 was a very strong title, if i remember correctly in the locker room you could view current champions and see the last 5 titles holders.. i thought that was an amazing feature and i miss it sooo much. Lita's Bada Boobage attire was a very nice addition for sure :D I know it will never happen because of Benoit and Angle but how coool would a remake of this game be on current or next gen systems?! Also weren't like Eddie and Sgt Slaughter dlc in this or perhaps they were only in the 360 version, i can't remember i just remembre i had the PS2 version and they were no where to be found in it. WWF Smackdown 2 is one of my top 5 favorite games ever. It had any amazing roster and every could be put on the line in exhibition mode, it had a great ranking system and i believe it too would show the last 5 champions of each belt. The only bad part about it was that the superstars would never stay down no matter how much you punished them, i remember using a gameshark mod just to make them stay on the mat. I remember i had Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn rise from the Hardcore/Light Heavyweight division all the way up to being WWF Champions.

CAW mode for '06 was great because the CAWs almost looked like the ingame models. To me WWE '13 is no where near close to SvR '06 in terms of the overall quality. Too many glitches, too many game breaking bugs, wost A.I ever, inferior gameplay, hell, inferior character models. That's embarrassing for a game that came out 7 years earlier to be better then the most recent one in almost every possible way.

Well the models are a lot more detailed now, to be fair.

As they most definitely should, but Hulk Hogan from SvR '06 looked much better then the ones from 2K'14. Same for Jericho, Bret Hart, and a few others.
