Evie

Despite not being on the card for Down Under Wrestling's premiere, Evie is still in an upbeat mood, mainly because she hasn't bump into Amon since their first encounter but partly because she knows that at this point she must be in the Australian Women's Championship Match when that rolls around.

Daniel Bessell
It was late in the afternoon when he arrived back at the house. After spending the past several hours tearing across the muddy paddocks of his Queensland property on a quad bike, Daniel was in need of fresh clothes and a warm shower. That was his top priority and once dealt with he went out into the living room and unfolded onto the couch, singing out for the missus to fetch him a cold one then come and rub some deep heat into his crook back. Nobody answered. Daniel was all alone, which means he would have to cater to himself for a change. He got back up off the couch moaning at all his aches and pains, sore from a hard days work, complaining to himself as he stepped into the kitchen. "Everything I do around here and this is the thanks I get..."

Not until after he had shut the fridge door did he see the note waiting for him there, clear as day, written in the neat print of his loving wife Amy. Basically telling him to come find her when he's ready to start acting like a man again. Daniel didn't think that particular part of the message was entirely called for, but he understood what she had meant by it. 2013 had been a bumpy ride for the 23 year old. He had started the year as a World Champion, unfortunately everything went downhill from that point. Things got worse and worse until finally Daniel had opted to simply hang up the boots for a while and take some time out. He also got married. It wasn't long after that when he got to business opening up his cattle station. Everything was going great until some bigwig went and started a major wrestling promotion right in his backyard. Suddenly that's all he was hearing about. His family, his friends, all the locals. Trying to push him back into wrestling. Most of all he was getting it from Amy, better known as April Divine. She hated country life and had never agreed with Daniel's decision to stop wrestling in the first place. Of course DUW had offered him a contract which was staring him in the face at every waking moment. And there it was waiting on the kitchen counter. This time he would pick it up, reading it for the first time as he wandered through the house drinking.

"To hell with it". Weighing up his options, Daniel was onto his third beer before he had figured that it would probably be less hassle then going through an early divorce. He went into his office and slammed the paper down onto the desk, scribbling out his signature before sending it through the fax machine. "There. Not such a big deal now, was it." Daniel muttered to himself as he went to call his wife on the phone, to beg for her to come home and cook him something nice for dinner.

Razorback | The Man Beast

How about that, Down Under Wrestling an Australian-based professional wrestling organisation has signed a second Australian professional wrestler. :o Whilst Daniel Bessell may not have the international fame of a CM Punk or Undertaker, Razorback is very familiar with Daniel's work and knows that he would certainly be a formidable opponent once "The Man Beast" becomes the Australian Heavyweight Champion.

So there was a new Australian wrestler here in DUW, a wrestler who was not in the league of Prince Devitt however. The Irish-born Superstar was sitting alone in his locker room now on his phone with someone. Could Devitt really be looking for some "back up" when it came time for competition? He could beat CM Punk without breaking a sweat, but the possibility of facing a bigger and stronger adversary had Devitt a little bit worried. Two days now remained until Devitt claimed victory over CM Punk and with that he could claim that he was indeed the Best Wrestler in the World.

Evie

With no match to prepare for this Thursday Night on Thunder, Evie is simply keeping up on all the Down Under Wrestling news, no new female signees thus far but Daniel Bessell has signed a contract, too bad he's missed out on the Australian Heavyweight Championship Tournament...Evie's a fan.....

With the first DUW show taking place tomorrow, Daniel and Amy had spent the day settling things up at the cattle station. It was actually quite easy to find someone to run the place since Daniel already had a family member working there, a young jackaroo who was all too happy to take up the reigns for a while. Once all loose ends were tied they hit the road, making the trip to Adelaide then checking into a hotel room for a couple of nights. Daniel sat and watched the news on television as Amy ran through their plans for the evening. They were going out to dinner, then heading to the arena to see how things were going over there. That was all fine with him, but he was already getting sick of being ordered around. On the farm he had chores he could go do when he wanted to find himself some breathing room, but now he knew she was going to be on his case 24/7 and it was a scary thought. He smiled and nodded along with what she was saying, pretending to pay attention when he was really more interested in finding out what was happening with the lying backstabbing politicians on the news.

Razorback | The Man Beast

24 hours away from his showdown with the Undertaker and Razorback has been studying tapes of "The Phenom" for hours on end. Clearly going into the match the Undertaker has experience that can't be matched but what happens when the Deadman goes up against a 315-pound Man Beast? The likes of which Undertaker has never faced before...screw Hogan and Andre, this is the real unstoppable force versus the immovable object.

It was now Wednesday which meant one day away until the first Thunder show was occuring. There the Real Rock N Rolla himself, Prince Devitt would be taking on CM Punk, which was a dream match in some people's eyes. Not in the eyes of Devitt however, he knew he could easily defeat CM Punk since could claim that he was the Best in the World. Devitt had traveled the world to prove that he was the best wrestler and soon enough he would be claiming not only the title of "Best in the World", but soon enough the Australian Heavyweight Championship as well.

Undertaker has faced many unstoppable forces and have stopped them all, this Razorback will just be the next on the list to fall. Also, Kane wants to beat Orton again like he did at Wrestlemania once. They could end up facing each other at some point, that could be fun.

The premiere of Down Under Wrestling is just a day away and whilst most of the roster were looking forward to the Quarterfinal Round in the Australian Heavyweight Championship Tournament, Evie is actually looking forward to what happens after the show, whether she gets a match on Sunday Night Showdown to be more precise.

After finishing up his tape study for the day Prince Devitt was now backstage looking to kill a little bit of time now. He had a big match against CM Punk, but it looked like it would be easier than he though as Punk hasn't even been seen since signing to DUW. Needless to say Devitt was advancing to the next round, but he still was looking to kill some time.

Razorback | The Man Beast

With all his studying of the Undertaker done for the day, Razorback begins to study the other men in the tournament. His first opponent after Taker would be either Kane or Randy Orton, both internationally recognised former World Heavyweight Champions. Looking at this possible matchup, it dawned on Razor that he clearly would have the most difficult road to the Australian Heavyweight Championship of all eight men in the tournament...but "The Man Beast" loves a challenge!

Big E Langston.

The show approaches so thick, so fast. Soon, Big E. will be debuting in the DUW. Soon Big E. will be going one on one with Eddy Crawford. Who is Eddy Crawford? Big E. has no idea. If he were normal, he'd be attempting to find out. Studying the man, so that he can prepare a game plan for Thursdays show. Is Big E. Langston a normal man though? No he is not, have you seen him? Of course you have, everyone likes WWE's. Big E. likes a surprise, he likes a challenge. As a result, Langston is going to go into Thursdays match up without even knowing what Eddy Crawford looks like. That is tomorrow though, and today is today, and today Big E Langston is not at the beach. He was planning on going there, however something mighty unexpected happened. Today it rained, it rained. It never rains in Home and Away or in Neighbors, it should never rain in Australia. Big E was confused, and quite angry as well, his day was ruined. Instead of a nice day eying up talent at the beach, Big E spent the day eying up talent in the gym. He worked out a bit as well, but not for long cause Langstons ripped naturally.

Randy Orton is training for his match against Kane. He can't wait to become champ. He decides that it'll be a lot easier to beat Kane if he hits him with an RKO - before the match. He goes to find Kane. He finds him. "Hey Kane, good luck in the match tonight, and may the best man win" Orton says, waiting for the right moment to drop him with an RKO.

Daniel Bessell

Once he had arrived at the arena Daniel managed to ditch his missus somewhere, losing her in the crowded backstage area. He went to get a coffee, chatting with some of the staff who were on a break from whatever they were doing, as he walked off retrieving a tin flask from his inside jacket pocket and adding a shot of whisky into the cup. When he came around the corner he spotted another wrestler, Prince Devitt. Daniel observed him for a moment before he walked over, Devitt had an arrogant vibe about him that was a tad provocative, but it wasn't going to be enough to dissuade the Aussie native from going over and offering his fellow competitor a warm welcome to the country. With a docile half grin Bessell approached, reaching out and offering a handshake as a gesture of goodwill while speaking in a calm and friendly tone.

"Hey mate, how are you going, the name's Daniel Bessell. You can just call me Bez if you want. I don't care. And unless I'm somehow mistaken you must be Devitt, right?"

Prince Devitt // Real Rock N Rolla

Yes, I am THE Prince Devitt, or as you soon will know me as the Australian Heavyweight Champion. If you want an autograph now is not the time or place for that. Is there anything else that I can help you with?

Australian Heavyweight Championship Tournament – Quarterfinal Match

Big E Langston vs. Eddy Crawford

The match starts with Big E Langston and Eddy Crawford meeting in the centre of the ring in a verbal exchange, eventually Eddy shoves Big E away and Langston fires back with a Kick to the midsection followed by a series of Clubbing Blows, backing Crawford up against the ring ropes before Irish Whipping him across the ring, Eddy quickly slides under the bottom rope for a breather at ringside with Big E in hot pursuit, once Langston gets to the outside, Crawford catches him with the Shank before Irish Whipping him into the guardrail, when Eddy charges towards the guardrail, Big E grounds him with a huge Running Body Block before rolling him back into the ring for a two count.

Following the kickout, Big E Langston brings Eddy Crawford to his feet and sets him up for a Side Belly-to-Belly Suplex which Eddy manages to counter with a Headbutt before locking in a Cravate with repeated Knee Strikes to the midsection followed up with a Swinging Neckbreaker, rather than going for the cover, Crawford mounts Big E and hits him with repeated Closed-Fist Punches to the head until he is stopped by referee Robert Davids, when Eddy attempts to return his attention to Langston, Big E catches him with a huge Shoulder Thrust to the midsection followed by rushing Crawford into the corner and hitting him with an Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex for a two count.

Following the kickout, Big E Langston comes off the ropes with a Running Splash attempt which Eddy Crawford manages to counter by getting his knees up, as a groggy Big E staggers into the corner, Eddy sets him up for the Head Case, hitting him with the Running Big Boot into the corner but missing the Discus Big Boot when Langston drops to his back and pulls down the ring ropes, causing Crawford to fall out to the ring apron, when Big E attempts to Suplex Eddy back into the ring, Crawford Hotshots him across the top rope before heading up to the top rope only to be cut off by Langston, after a brief back and forth battle on the top rope between the two men, Eddy hits an Avalanche Neckbreaker across the knee but only manages to gain the three count due to Big E getting his foot on the bottom rope.

After failing to pick up the three count, Eddy Crawford begins to Choke Big E Langston with the second rope until he is stopped by Robert Davids, after intimidating Robert, Eddy turns back to Big E but gets caught with a huge Spear, after dragging Crawford back to his feet, Langston sets him up for the Big Ending which Eddy manages to wriggle out of before locking Big E in the Lockdown, despite Langston managing to make it to the ropes, Crawford refuses to release the hold, causing him to be disqualified.

Winner: Big E Langston

After the match, Eddy Crawford lays out referee Robert Davids with the Shank before attempting to lock Big E Langston back in the Lockdown which Big E manages to fight off, hitting Eddy with several Back Elbow Strikes to the midsection before Clotheslining him over the top rope, Crawford lands on his feet on the arena floor however and tries to re-enter the ring but thinks better of it and backs away from the ring with a furious look on his face.

Australian Heavyweight Championship Tournament – Quarterfinal Match

CM Punk vs. Prince Devitt

The match starts with CM Punk offering Prince Devitt a handshake and Devitt simply Slapping it away, Punk responds to this sign of disrespect by taking Devitt over with a Headlock Takeover which Devitt quickly escapes before taking Punk over with a Headlock Takeover of his own leading to a standoff followed by a Lockup in the centre of the ring, Punk begins to take control, almost forcing Devitt to the ground until Devitt manages to push off Punk’s chest with his own foot and take Punk down with a Modified Monkey Flip transitioned into an Arm Drag and then into Devitt’s End which Punk quickly escapes by making it to the ring ropes before sliding out of the ring.

Whilst CM Punk is nursing his left arm on the outside of the ring, Prince Devitt launches himself over the top rope with a Somersault Suicide Senton before rolling Punk back into the ring, whilst Devitt is mocking the fans at ringside, Punk manages to get to his feet in the ring before hitting Devitt with a Suicide Dive right into the guardrail, Punk then follows up by rolling Devitt into the ring and waiting on the ring apron for him to get back to his feet before attempting a Springboard Clothesline which Devitt manages to counter with a Dropkick in midair followed by a Prince’s Throne attempt which Punk manages to wriggle out of before hitting Devitt with the Devil Lock DDT for a two count.

Following the kickout, CM Punk waits for Prince Devitt to begin to get to his feet before coming off the ropes with a Shining Wizard which yet again only manages to gain a two count for Punk, following the kickout, Punk stalks Devitt back to his feet and sets him up for a Uranage which Devitt manages to counter with a series of Back Elbow Strikes to the side of the head followed by the Dreamcast before coming off the ropes with a Clothesline attempt which Punk manages to counter into the Uranage before locking in the Anaconda Vise, despite being locked in the agonising hold for over a minute whilst the crowd in attendance chant “Tap! Tap! Tap!”, Devitt does manage to make it to the ropes, forcing Punk to break the hold.

Rather than allowing Prince Devitt to get back to his feet, CM Punk goes straight back onto the offensive which Devitt uses to his own advantage by hitting Punk with a shot to the midsection before using his trunks to toss him through the ropes which causes Punk to take an hellacious fall to the arena floor, with Punk now motionless on the floor, Devitt forces referee Dennis Cooper to start the countout which Devitt decides to break at “8” in order to inflict more pain on Punk, after laying into Punk with several Stomps on the outside, Devitt sets him up for Bloody Sunday on the arena floor which Punk manages to counter into an Inverted Facelock Backbreaker transitioned into an Arm Trap Swinging Neckbreaker on the floor before sliding back into the ring for Devitt to be counted out.

When Prince Devitt manages to get back into the ring just after the count of “7”, CM Punk waits for him to groggily get to his feet in the corner before hitting him with a Step-Up High Knee Strike followed up with a Running Bulldog attempt which Devitt manages to counter by shoving Punk off, inadvertently knocking down Dennis Cooper, Devitt then hits Punk with a Roundhouse Kick to the back of the head followed by the Reverse Bloody Sunday before coming off the top rope with a Diving Double Foot Stomp which fails to gain the pinfall due to Dennis still being laid out, a furious Devitt then hangs Punk in the Tree of Woe before heading to the top rope once again only to be cut off by Punk fighting his way out of the Tree of Woe, with both men now trading blows on the top rope, Punk manages to gain the advantage with a Headbutt before hitting Devitt with a jaw dropping Pepsi Plunge, although it only manages to gain a two count for Punk once new referee Kevin Haskins has made his way down to the ring.

After failing to gain the three count with the Pepsi Plunge, a frustrated CM Punk drags Prince Devitt back to his feet and sets him up for the Go To Sleep, which Devitt manages to counter by blocking the Knee Lift before countering it into a Dragon Screw transitioned into a Sharpshooter, once Punk has fought his way across the ring to the ropes, Devitt releases the hold but drags Punk back into the centre of the ring and locks him in an STF instead which Punk once again manages to counter by making it to the ropes, after waiting for Punk to get to his feet by using the ropes, Devitt Kicks his legs out from under him before locking in a Spinning Toehold which Punk eventually manages to counter with a Small Package for a very close two count, furious about almost being pinned with a Small Package, Devitt attempts to hit Punk with a Clothesline which Punk manages to avoid before rolling Devitt up with a School Boy for yet another close two count.

When Prince Devitt kicks out, CM Punk quickly catches him with a Snap DDT before heading out to the apron, waiting to Devitt to groggily get back to his feet before attempting a Springboard Clothesline, Punk’s legs give way however which allows Devitt to control of the match with a Slingshot Brainbuster followed up with Devitt’s End, despite several attempts to escape the hold, Punk eventually and reluctantly submits to give Devitt the victory.

Winner: Prince Devitt

After the match a visibly beaten and exhausted CM Punk stops Prince Devitt from leaving the ring and offers him another handshake, after several moments of Devitt contemplating whether to shake Punk’s hand, he simply shrugs Punk off before leaving the ring to a chorus of boos from the crowd.

Australian Heavyweight Championship Tournament – Quarterfinal Match

Kane vs. Randy Orton

The match starts with Kane and Randy Orton circling the ring several times before going for the Lockup in the centre of the ring, Randy hits Kane with a Kick to the midsection instead however before backing him into the corner with a series of Punches to the head before attempting an Irish Whip into the opposite corner which Kane manages to counter into a huge Sidewalk Slam followed by a Running Leg Drop, as Orton begins to get back to his feet, Kane comes off the ropes again but this time Randy catches him with a huge Dropkick before Irish Whipping him across the ring and hitting him with a huge Snap Scoop Powerslam for a two count.

Following the kickout, Randy Orton attempts to bring Kane back to his feet but gets caught with a Throat Thrust which causes Randy to stagger backwards into the corner, when Kane advances towards Orton, Randy manages to get his foot up, Kicking Kane in the face before attempting a Diving Crossbody which Kane manages to counter by catching him in midair before setting up a Tombstone Piledriver which Orton manages to counter by wriggling out of it, landing on the ring apron, before Randy can re-enter the ring however, Kane hits him with a Big Boot, knocking him off the apron and into the guardrail.

When Randy Orton groggily gets to his feet on the outside of the ring, Kane follows him out, prompting Randy to re-enter the ring, Kane pulls him back out however and attempts Irish Whip him into the steel ring steps, Orton manages to avoid hitting the steps however by leaping up onto it before hitting Kane with a Diving Crossbody and re-entering the ring.

When Kane re-enters the ring, Randy Orton hits him with a series of Stomps followed by several Forearm Strikes to the back of the head and neck before attempting to lock in a Sleeper Hold which Kane quickly escapes, Randy attempts to lock it on again but Kane effortlessly tosses Orton into the corner before hitting him with a huge Clothesline followed by a Side Backbreaker for a two count.

Following the kickout, Kane locks Randy Orton in a Twisting Chinlock which Randy manages to counter with an Overhead Kick followed by a Snapmare transitioned into a Wrenching Chinlock, when Kane begins to battle out of it, Orton releases it and hits Kane with a series of Shoot Kicks to the back before attempting the Punt Kick which Kane manages to avoid, Randy comes back with a Low Dropkick to the face however before hitting a Snap DDT for a two count.

With Kane still laid out, Randy Orton begins to stalk Kane for the RKO which Kane eventually manages to counter by shoving Randy off into the corner, when Kane charges towards Orton, Randy catches him with a Back Elbow Strike to the face before heading to the top rope, Kane cuts him off however but after a brief back and forth battle on the top rope, Orton manages to knock Kane back into the ring before attempting to hit him with a Diving Double Axe Handle which Kane manages to counter with a Chokeslam from Hell attempt which Randy in turn counters into an RKO which shockingly only gains a two count for him.

Following the kickout, Randy Orton sets Kane up for the IED which Kane manages to battle out of, hitting Randy with a Throat Thrust before heading to the top rope, Orton shakes the ropes however, causing Kane to be crotched on the top rope before hitting him with a Rope-Hung RKO for the three count.

Winner: Randy Orton

Australian Heavyweight Championship Tournament – Quarterfinal Match

Razorback vs. Undertaker

The match starts with Razorback and Undertaker meeting in the centre of the ring, whilst Razorback talks trash, Undertaker just stares coldly into his eyes, eventually Razorback stops talking trash and hits Undertaker with a hard Right-Handed Punch which barely affects Undertaker, Razorback then his a second Right-Handed Punch but yet again it barely affects Undertaker, when Razorback goes for a third Right-Handed Punch it is blocked by Undertaker who follows up by backing Razorback into the corner with a flurry of Punches before Irish Whipping him into the opposite one, when Undertaker charges in, Razorback explodes out of the corner with a huge Body Block which lays Undertaker out.

With Undertaker still on the mat, Razorback stands on his chest and uses the ropes for leverage until he is stopped by referee Troy Sinclair, after intimidating and shoving Troy, Razorback attempts to his attention to Undertaker who begins battling back to his feet, hitting Razorback with several Punches to the midsection before setting him up for a Reverse STO, Razorback manages to battle out of it however, hitting Undertaker with several Back Elbow Strikes to the side of the head followed by a Headbutt and finally a T-Bone Suplex, rather than attempting to go for the pinfall, Razorback lays into Undertaker with several Closed-Fist Punches to the head until he is stopped yet again by Troy.

When Razorback attempts to bring Undertaker back to his feet, he gets caught with a Jawbreaker before coming off the ropes with a Clothesline which fails to knock Razorback off his feet, Undertaker then comes off the ropes with a second Clothesline attempt but yet again it fails to knock Razorback off his feet, Undertaker then comes off the ropes for a third time, this time it’s for a Crossbody which Razorback manages to counter by catching Undertaker in mid-air before setting him up for a Samoan Drop which Undertaker manages to counter, wriggling off Razorback’s shoulders before hitting him with a Reverse STO, finally taking “The Man Beast” off his feet.

With Razorback still on the mat, Undertaker attempts to lock in a Triangle Choke which Razorback attempts to counter with a series of Punches, eventually Undertaker manages to lock the hold in but Razorback manages to get to his feet anyway with the hold still locked in before charging into the corner, crushing Undertaker against the turnbuckles before Irish Whipping him into the opposite corner, Undertaker manages to get his foot up, Kicking Razorback in the face when he follows him into the corner but is unable to capitalise when Razorback catches him with an Enzuigiri and then a Running Corner Hip Attack, Razorback then attempts to follow up with a Corner Slingshot Splash which Undertaker manages to counter by getting his foot up, Kicking Razorback in the face before taking the groggy “Man Beast” over the top rope with a Clothesline.

Despite being Clotheslined to the outside of the ring, Razorback manages to land on his feet although he is groggy, with Razorback staggering around on the outside of the ring, Undertaker launches himself over the top rope with a Suicide Dive, finally taking Razorback off his feet for a second time which prompts a “holy shit!” chant from the fans in attendance, when both men groggily get to their feet, Undertaker takes the advantage with a flurry of Punches before rolling Razorback back into the ring and hitting him with a Leg Drop on the ring apron, as Undertaker re-enters the ring, Razorback catches him with a Headbutt but Undertaker quickly fires back with a Throat Thrust followed by an Arm Wrench and several Shoulder Thrusts to set up the Old School which Razorback counters by shoving Undertaker which causes him to get crotched on the top rope.

With Undertaker still straddling the top rope, Razorback brings him back into the ring with a Biel Throw before heading up to the second rope himself for a Diving Senton which Undertaker manages to avoid by rolling out of the way, when both men groggily get to their feet they begin trading blows in the centre of the ring with Undertaker coming out on top, backing Razorback up against the ropes before attempting to Irish Whip him across the ring, Razorback manages to counter the attempt however by holding on to the top rope before tossing Undertaker over it, Undertaker manages to land on the ring apron however before Hotshotting Razorback across the top rope and heading to the top rope for a Diving Clothesline which Razorback manages to avoid by pulling Troy Sinclair in front of himself, causing Troy to be laid out instead.

With Undertaker shocked about inadvertently laying out Troy Sinclair, Razorback catches Undertaker with the Killshot which only brings him to his knees, Razorback then comes off the ropes with a Running Single Leg High Knee Strike which knocks Undertaker to the mat, rather than going for the pinfall, Razorback waits for Undertaker to get to his feet before attempting the ISU, Razorback manages to hit the Body Avalanche and then the Running Crossbody but misses the Running Senton when Undertaker manages to roll out of the way before coming off the ropes with two Running Elbow Drops followed by a Running Leg Drop, Undertaker then brings Razorback to his feet which results in Razorback rushing Undertaker into the corner before hitting him with a T-Bone Suplex which sends Undertaker halfway across the ring.

As Undertaker groggily gets back to his feet in the opposite corner, Razorback charges towards him but gets caught with a Kick to the face, Undertaker then attempts to follow up by going to the top rope but gets cut off by Razorback who follows Undertaker up to the top rope and after a brief back and forth battle, Undertaker manages to Chokeslam Razorback back into the ring but before Undertaker can capitalise, Razorback sits up in true “Deadman” style and heads back up to the top rope, the two once again battle back and forth but this time Razorback manages to take control of the exchange and hoists Undertaker up to his shoulders before performing an awe-inspiring Avalanche Samoan Drop which causes the ring to collapse which prompts a second “holy shit!” chant shortly followed by dead silence.

With Razorback, Undertaker and Troy Sinclair all still motionless amongst the remnants of the ring, senior referee Brian Jones makes his way down to ringside and declares the match a no contest.

Winner: No Contest

After the match, several members of backstage staff make their way down to ringside to help Razorback, Troy Sinclair and Undertaker backstage to a standing ovation from the crowd. Once they have been taken backstage, Down Under Wrestling Owner Bill Olson and his secretary Ms. Frost make their way down to ringside, getting into a dispute with senior referee Brian Jones as this episode of Thunder comes to a close.

Bad night for the Brothers of Destruction. First, Kane lost to Randy Orton - good job he wasn't in his locker room when Orton wanted to RKO him (which you posted at 6am my time, why would I be on then?) but it didn't matter anyway as Orton won so that was one half not progressing. In the main event, Undertaker and Razorback were having a great match when the ring broke and everyone ended up falling unconscious, so it looks like we may have to have that match again. that's fine with Taker, he'll win next time and show his brother how you win a quarter final match.

Grand show Oresama. Well done <3.

Big E. Langston. FIVE FIVE FIVE!

3 was not enough this day, and 5 wouldn't of been much help either. Although Big E happily won tonight's match, he did so in most inglorious fashion, he did so only because Eddy Crawford could not contain his emotions. As a result of the heinous fashion the match was won in, Langston refuses to accept tonight's result, for he is a very proud man. Immediately after losing and ejecting Crawford from the ring, Big E made his way slowly to the back as the fan's applauded his effort kindly. Acknowledging this, and slapping a few of the said fans hands as he made his way toward the backstage area. Once at the back, Big E begins to remove his wrist tape, and is soon stopped in his tracks by Thunder backstage interviewer, Nicole Morgan. The lady attempts to interview Big E, however is cut off before she can ask her first question by Mr.Langston. He grabs Nicole's wrist ever so gently, before placing the microphone close to his mouth and speaking quite loudly. "It ain't over Crawford. You gonna regret this sonnnn". That was i. Big E would then disappear out of shot, as Nicole shrugs her shoulders. Langston mad bro.

Zoe Hayes | Showdown Interviewer

The Showdown Interviewer Zoe Hayes is shown backstage at the Estonian Hall. "Zoe Hayes here backstage at the Estonian Hall which is still abuzz after Down Under Wrestling's historic Thunder premiere. Tonight we saw Big E Langston, Prince Devitt and Randy Orton advance to the Semifinal Round of the Australian Heavyweight Championship Tournament which will take place this Sunday Night on Showdown but what all the fans are talking about is the main event which saw Razorback collide with the Undertaker in what Razorback billed as the real unstoppable force versus the immovable object and boy did it deliver! Those to behemoths battled tooth and nail but in the end even the ring could not contain them and it imploded! Leaving Razorback, Undertaker and even referee Troy Sinclair in such a state that all three were unable to continue and the matchup was deemed a no contest by senior referee Brian Jones. Well...I have an update on their condition, whilst referee Troy Sinclair is believed to have suffered a concussion and is currently at a local medical facility, neither Razorback or Undertaker have suffered injuries and I have been informed by DUW Owner Bill Olson that both Razorback and Undertaker will move into the Semifinal Round where they will compete with Randy Orton in a 3-Way Fray Match this Sunday on Showdown!" Zoe lowers her head and begins to shuffle through her notes as the camera fades out.
