I go everytime I go to Buffalo Wild Wings and we dont buy anything, we just kill time. We wear hoodies all the time and we were never asked that. Like Scorpion said might have been LP if not then idk why they would do that

And also, depending on your appearnce, since it is a kid store, if the manager thinks that you're about to cause trouble, then it's in his best interest to escort you out since it is a kid store.

This is probably what happened. Unfortunately a group of teenish friends could cause the store some problems. I wouldn't take it so harshly tbh. Still, I can completely understand your issue with what happened.

I went with some friends today to Sonic to get something to eat, being an outside place, we were cold and wanted to go heat up in Toys R' Us right across from there, so we go in and one of my friends is a gamer so we went to the gaming section so my friend could see if he wanted to buy something and we walked towards the board games while stopping to look around at funny toys, we notice were being followed and we decide to leave since we already heated up, while were walking, the guy is talking to a manager, I believe, and the manager steps in front of us and says "are you guys going to buy something, because if not im going to have to ask you to leave" We disputed a few seconds before agreeing to leave, but we then thought about it and want to go back in and talk to the guy and ask him what the problem was. If anyone knows their policy, can they kick us out for that, were we doing anything wrong and I don't want to start problems but I want to talk with that manager and tell him that he did something wrong unless someone can tell me they were justified in doing that.

Well any store, has the right to refuse to allow any customer, if they deem them a risk. Also was this near closing time? Because some stores are strict about people coming in just to "browse" during closing time. That might be another reason you were asked to leave too.

Point is, there are many reasons to justify what the manager did, you shouldnt try and be "My rights were infringed, the manager was a bigot, I will fight for my rights"

No one is saying any of that.

Yeah, I mean if you're innocent this shouldn't be tolerated IMO, yes they have a right (to do whatever they wish) but it doesn't make it any more justified. You, yourself have a right to enter a store without the intention of transaction. This just sounds like a naive, paranoid bigoted store worker tbh.

M3, did I say you should go in and make a deal of it? No. I said don't accept douchbaggery, I never said you should go in and be all like "my rights" etc... So those posts aren't the same. Look, everyone isn't like you, you know? Not everyone tolerates people walking all over them.

You just don't like me or what I say, hence your posts that are directed at me. You are obssesed with me.

Just leave me alone, please.

I've had that happen a few times. I normally don't fuss about it, although I once made a point of telling the guy that I had just got paid (which I did) and usually purchase stuff from the store we were in so he just lost the potential for an impulse buy and therefore money for the company (which was a privately owned company like Toys R Us is now to my knowledge). I wouldn't lose my mind about it, but I definitely won't just be told to leave a store without explanation.

Reminds me of 1 time I got kicked from a convenient store. Was by myself and it was warm so I was just wearing a t-shirt and shorts (nothing shady). I went to get a slushy and some gum. As soon as I pick it up, this angry looking guy comes over and says "You gonna pay for that?". I tell him yes and then he asks what's in my pockets. Tell him just my wallet and some lindt. Claims I gave him attitude and kicked me out, as I was holding the slushy and gum I might add. I went back to pay for it but the angry guy comes back and says "Feel bad about stealing?". Expain myself but he doesn't listen. I put the money on the counter and left. It was funny hearing him rant because he said "Eh" a lot lol.

What an enigma. On the one hand he perpetrates a steriotype of canada by using the word "eh" repeatedly, yet on the other, denies another by being an angry prick.

Grand Master Pepsay is confused, Grand Master Pepsay shrugged his shoulders in his confusion.

:P

Me and my mates go into Toys R Us all the time, we piss about with the lightsabers, the bikes etc. have a bit of a laugh, no one in there seems to really care, so I don't know why they asked you to leave, seems a bit odd.
