Jim Ross: Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for spending your evening with us here tonight at WrestleMania X-7. We are just seconds away from the father vs son Street Fight, a match that has building-

Paul Heyman: That has been building ever since Shane McMahon disrespected his father, Vince McMahon by buying WCW right from under his nose.

Jim Ross: Well Paul, I think there's a little more to this match, this fight than that.

Paul Heyman: What details could I possibly be missing J.R?

Jim Ross: How 'bout the fact that, Vince McMahon had an affair with his wife Linda while she was in a comatose state?

Paul Heyman: Oh come on J.R, why do you have to air out Mr. McMahon's dirty laundry on pay per view like that?

Jim Ross: I'm not saying anything that Vince McMahon hasn't done on live television.

Paul Heyman: That's MR. MCMAHON to you J.R and you ought to show your boss some respect if you want me to continue carrying you at the announce table.

Jim Ross: Paul, the day you carry me in announcing is the day I eat my hat.

Paul Heyman: Today's the day J.R, how do you like your hat? Well done?

Jim Ross: That's enough Paul, lets' take you back to the events that lead this father and son to compete in a Street Fight.

A video package plays showing the past events leading to WrestleMania. Showing the shocking moment of Shane McMahon buying WCW before Vince McMahon could officially buy it from Ted Turner when the two signed the contract live at WrestleMania. The video highlights Vince's and Trish's love affair while Linda was in a coma like state before Vince McMahon double crossed Trish when on Raw, Vince McMahon allowed WWF Commissioner William Regal and his daughter Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley to beat Trish in a tag team match featuring himself on a team with Trish Stratus. The match ended with Regal hitting his signature Regal Cutter after which, Stephanie dumped what looked and smelled like sewage on Trish adding to her embarrassment. The affair ended with Vince McMahon telling Trish that she was like a toy that he got bored of playing with. The promo ends with the two Mcmahon's staring each other down.

'Wreck' hits as the former WWF Commissioner Mick Foley walks through the curtain wearing his makeshift referee shift to the pop of the crowd.

Paul Heyman: I still can't believe that Mick Foley is refereeing this match. I mean he doesn't really work here!

Jim Ross: The contract Mick Foley signed begs to differ, Paul.

Paul Heyman: For all we know, those 'contracts' could just be blank pieces of paper with Mick Foley's name on them.

Jim Ross: I think you're just upset that Mick Foley pulled a fast one on Mr. McMahon.

Mick lifts his fist in the air to the cheers of the crowd before walking down the ramp and getting into the ring waiting for Shane and Vince McMahon to come out.

'Here Comes the Money' blasts over the PA system as Shane McMahon walks out doing his signature 'Shane O'Mac' jig to the mixed reaction of the crowd.

Paul Heyman: There he is, JR. The ungrateful son of our beloved boss!

Shane McMahon continues down the ramp before getting into the ring and waits for his father to come through the curtain.

Vince McMahon's theme 'No Chance' hits the speakers a deafening sound of boos fills the Reliant Astrodome.

Paul Heyman: What is wrong with these people, JR? They should be on their knees thanking Vince McMahon for even blessing them with his presence tonight!

Jim Ross: I can't hear you Paul when you have your head firmly on Vince McMahon's rear.

Paul Heyman: How dare you JR! God forbid I actually like my job, unlike you and would openly praise my boss for all he has down for this business.

Jim Ross: I love my job very much but, doesn't mean I have to love my boss. By the way, isn't Mr. McMahon the one who ran you out of business.

Paul Heyman: ... Shut up JR!

Vince McMahon walks through the curtain both he and Shane lock eyes. Vince's frown turns to a evil grin as he turn to the curtain signaling for someone to come out.

Jim Ross: What does he have up his sleeve?

Paul Heyman: Why do you automatically have to assume he has something up his sleeve.

Jim Ross: I've been working here for long enough to know that Vincent K McMahon always has something up his sleeve.

Stephanie walks through the curtain wheeling Linda McMahon out to the stage with her. A look of disgust covers Shane's face as for a brief moment he expected a little more from his father.

Jim Ross: Oh, this isn't necessary, just leave Linda in the back she doesn't need to see this.

Paul Heyman: Don't worry JR, she's in a coma. We don't even know if she can see anything.

STREET FIGHT | Vince McMahon versus Shane McMahon [special Ref. Mick Foley]

Vince McMahon walk to the center of the ring meeting eye to eye. Both men begin to talk trash to one another before Vince McMahon slaps his own son across the face. Shane McMahon goes to retaliate but, Vince hides behind referee Mick Foley. Mick tries to back Shane off causing Shane to turn his back to his father. Vince smirks before hitting 'Shane O' Mac' in the back sending him into the corner. The owner of the WWF follows up by hitting his son with right and lefts to the head and body sending him to the mat. Vince quickly covers Shane for a two count. Vince continues his assault by yelling to his son to get up while pushing his face with his foot.

Paul Heyman: What did I tell you JR? Vince McMahon is in control.

Shane stumbles to his feet as Vince yells at Linda at ringside telling her that 'That this is all your fault!' Vince goes to pick Shane up by the head but, 'The Boy Wonder' breaks free and follows up with hitting his father, Vince his a stiff left hook to the chin sending him toppling out of the ring to the cheers of the fans. Shane McMahon rolls out of the ring and begins to stomp away at his father to the count of the crowd. Shane stomps Vince for the tenth time before picking him up and sending Mr. McMahon into the steel post rocking him. Shane quickly walks over to Vince grabbing the back of his head and carrying Vince who can barely stand over the announce table area. Shane begins hitting Vince's head over and over again off the table top before taking the tables monitor and hitting Vince over the head with it sending him onto of the Spanish announce table.

Paul Heyman: Is this how you would treat your father JR?

Jim Ross: If my fath-

Paul Heyman: Who are you kidding JR? You can't fight!

Jim Ross: You keep running that big mouth of yours Paul, we'll find out.

Paul Heyman: What are you going to do, throw bar-b-q sauce on me?

Shane McMahon gets on the table and hits his father, Vince McMahon with some mounted strikes to the head looking as though they have knocked him out. Before Shane can do anymore damage, he is hit by his own sister, Stephanie in the back of the head with a trash can sending him to the floor. Stephanie smirks at her handy work before helping her father off the table. Before Stephanie can even think about doing anymore damage to her old brother, Trish Stratus comes running out to the shock and awe of both Stephanie and Vince. Stephanie tries to cut her off at ringside throwing a slap but, Trish manages to catch her wrist hitting Stephanie with a hard slap across the face sending her to the floor holding her face.

Paul Heyman: She can't do that to Stephanie! She's the 'Billion Dollar Princess'

Trish storms over to Vince as he sits leaned up against the announce table. She begins yelling at him as he stumbles to his feet begging her off. She tries to slap Vince only for him to grab her wrist as a devilish smirk appears of his face.

Jim Ross: Let her go Vince, let her go!

Paul Heyman: She didn't have to come out her, JR. She opened the flood gates now she has to feel the bosses wrath!

Vince McMahon cocks back his fist but, before he can do the unthinkable Shane spins Vince around and begins hit him with a series of left jabs before finishing him off with a stiff right hook sending Vince crumbling to the ground. Shane McMahon uses the time that his father down to pull up the protective mat surrounding the ringside area. Shane pulls his daze father's head between his legs and looks to be again going for a piledriver but, Stephanie again intervenes low blowing her brother allowing Vince to flip Shane back first into the concrete. Trish again chases Stephanie off this time, chasing her up the ramp and to the backstage area.

Jim Ross: That's it Trish, get rid of that, that Jezebel!

Paul Heyman: This is ridiculous, Stephanie McMahon was just minding her own business at ringside cheering her father on when, Trish assaulted her!

Jim Ross: If you actually believe the things that come out of your mouth, then you're a bigger idiot than I thought!

Vince McMahon collects his barrings as he shakes off the cobwebs and he picks up the lifeless body of his son before tossing him back into the ring. The chairman of the WWF walks up the steel steps confidently before getting into the ring covering Shane for a two and a half count. Vince, the crowd and even Mick Foley look shocked that Shane was able to kick out before the count of three. Vince begins stomping away at a nearly unconscious Shane McMahon before rolling out of the ring and throwing a kendo stick, steel chair, and a trash can into the ring. Vince looks like he's about to get into the ring but, stops as he looks over at his soon to be ex-wife Linda. Vince walks over to Linda and begins to yell at her before picking her up from her wheelchair.

Jim Ross: Oh god, what's he going to do?

Paul Heyman: Whatever he wants to JR, which is why he's the boss!

Vince sets her into the ring before setting up a steel chair in the corner of the ring and sits her down into it. Vince begins yelling at Linda to watch what he's about to do to her son as he picks up the kendo stick and hits a fallen Shane with everything he has.

Jim Ross: This is just too much, I don't know how much I can watch.

Paul Heyman: That makes one of us, I'm having a hell out a time!

Vince continues his assault as Linda McMahon stands up and awakes from her comatose state to the pop of the crowd. Vince, wondering what the cheers are about turns around as his smile turns to a horrified look. Vince, drops his kendo stick as Linda kicks Vince directly in the grapefruits sending him in pain to his knees. Shane gets to his feet as he and his mother embrace to the cheers of the crowd. Shane helps his mother out of the ring before covering his father. Shane signals his father to get to his feet. Vince, using the ropes to get to his feet, tries begging his son off but, Shane has none of it as he hits Vince with two stiff punches followed by a trash can shot to the top of the head sending him throw the ropes onto the apron. Vince gets to his feet as Shane lines his father up hits him with the bottom of the garbage can sending him flying onto the announce table somehow not breaking it on impact. Shane looks at his falling father laid out on the announce table and then looks at the top rope. The crowd pops knowing that they are about to see something amazing as Shane scales the top rope.

Jim Ross: Don't do it Shane, whatever you're thinking about doing is not worth putting your body on the line over a family dispute!

Paul Heyman: Someone get Vince out of there, who's going to pay me if he's in the hospital!?

Shane writes cross on his heart before jumping off the turnbuckle with an elbow drop. The crowd raises to their feet as the flashes of their cameras go off as Shane flies through the air. Seconds before Shane is able to hand his leap of faith, Vince rolls off the table with his what seems like his last bit of strength. The crowd and Mick look on in silence as Shane lays lifelessly in the rumble that was the Spanish announce table.

Jim Ross: What a risk, he's broken in half.

Paul Heyman: Come on Vince, pick up that ingrate and pin him!

Vince slowly gets to his feet as he picks up his son and rolls him into the ring. Vince, falls to the mat covering Shane with one arm. But, Shane some how manages to get his shoulder off the mat to the shock of Vince and the WWF fans.

Jim Ross: What's going to take!? Shane McMahon just won't stay down!

Paul Heyman: He's too stupid to stay down!

Vince picks up to the chair from the corner, barely able to stand and looks like he's about to hit Shane but, instead cracks referee Mick Foley in the face sending him crashing to the mat. Vince, turns his attention to his son as he begins screaming at him to get to his feet. Vince, tosses the chair near Mick Foley's body as he picks Shane up by the collar of his shirt before cocking back his billion dollar fist. Vince again yells at Shane telling him that he's the one to blame for all of this and goes to punch him. But, out of nowhere, Vince is spun around by none other than former WCW champion Diamond Dallas Page and is sent crashing down to the mat via the Diamond Cutter. The WWF fans can't believe their eyes as DDP drapes Shanes arm over Vince as he shakes Mick Foley til he wakes up. Foley, still dazed by the chair shot slowly makes the three count and calls for the bell declaring Shane McMahon the winner.

Winner: Shane McMahon [via pinfall]

Jim Ross: What did we just see!? Diamond Dallas Page has cost Vince McMahon the match!

Paul Heyman: This is a dark day in the WWF, and mark my words JR there will be hell to pay!

DDP helps Shane to his feet as he raises Shane's hand in the air in victory. Page aids Shane McMahon up the ramp as two look down at Vince in the ring who looks back with a look of anger. Shane and Page make it to the curtain leaving Vince and Mick in the ring together. Mick gets to his feet and looks less than happy with Vince McMahon for hitting him with that chair.

Paul Heyman: Now calm down Mick, you wouldn't want to lose your job again!.

Vince McMahon slowly turns to Mick who is pulls Mr Socko from his tights to the pop of the crowd. Vince looks at Foley who is now armed with Socko and tries to reason with 'The Hardcore Legend'. Unfortunately for Vince, it's no use as Mick lunges at Vince and crams Mr Socko down Mr McMahon's throat. Foley removes the sweat sock from the lifeless Chairman's mouth as he raises his arm to the cheers of the crowd. Foley tosses Mr Socko into the crowd and heads up the ramp with a smile on his face leaving McMahon laying in the middle of the ring.

Jim Ross: This is just not Vince McMahon's night.

Paul Heyman: I would hate to be on his bad side once he regains consciousness.

WWF Tag Team Championships| TLC II| Edge and Christian defeated The Dudley Boyz © and The Hardy Boyz

Gimmick Battle Royal| Iron Shiek won, last eliminating Hillbilly Jim

Jim Ross: Ladies and gentlemen we are just seconds away from what will no doubt be a slobberknocker between 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin and The Roc-

Paul Heyman: That's 'The Great One' to you, JR!

Jim Ross: Let's take you back to the events that lead to this clash!

A video package plays showcasing the feud between the WWF Champion The Rock and 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin dating back all the way to the Royal Rumble. The video shows all the superstars Austin had to get through to win last showing him eliminating Kane with a steel chair shot to the head. The video goes on to show Austin's and Rock's various altercations between one and other before ending showing the two squaring off in front to the WrestleMania logo.

Jim Ross: As you just saw this has been a heated riva- what? Ladies and gentlemen we have just gotten word that this match will now be under no disqualification rules.

Paul Heyman: I have to give The Rock the advantage with this change.

Jim Ross: Of course you do.

'Glass Shattered' by Disturbed hits the speakers to the huge pop of the crowd. 'Stone Cold' wastes no time making his way through the curtain and down the ramp.

Jim Ross: 'Stone Cold' is a man on a mission and his mission is beating The Rock at WrestleMania and regaining the World Wrestling Federation Champion!

Paul Heyman: Austin, might as well abort this mission while he still can as it's going to be a long night for him once The Rock gets his hands on him.

Steve Austin continues his was to the ring walking up the steps and getting into the ring. He walks to the corner and gives the crowd his two finger salute as they go wild at the sight of the 'Toughest SOB in the WWF'. Austin walks to the other side of the ring does the two finger salute again before waiting in the center of the ring for The Rock to make his way to the ring.

Paul Heyman: I can't wait JR it's time for the 'People's Champ', 'The Great One', The WWF Champion to grace everyone with his presence!

Jim Ross: Enough, you're making me sick.

'If You Smell...' hits the speaks as The Rock walks through the curtain to a mostly boos mixed reaction.

Paul Heyman: There he is, our WWF champion!

Jim Ross: He may be your WWF champion but, he sure as hell isn't mine.

The Rock stands at the top of the stage locking eyes with Austin as he continues down the ramp.

Jim Ross: You can cut the tension with a knife both these men just want to beat the hell out of each other.

Paul Heyman: Unfortunately for 'Stone Cold' he's going to be on the bad side of the ass whoopin'!

The Rock gets into and scales the middle rope and lifts the WWF Championship in the air still locking eyes with 'Stone Cold'.

WWF Championship | NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH | The Rock © versus Steve Austin

The Rock and Austin stare each other down before locking up in the middle of the ring. Austin gets the upper hand but, The Rock backs up into the corner causing the ref to break up the hold. Stone Cold backs up a few steps as 'The Great One' talks trash to the 'Texas Rattlesnake'. Austin smirks at Rock as he flips him off before kicking him in the midsection and proceeding o stomp a mud hole in into him.

Jim Ross: Austin's stomping a mud hole in him and walking him dry!

Paul Heyman: The referee needs to do his job and disqualify Austin!

Jim Ross: It's a no disqualification match Paul, there's nothing the referee can do.

Paul Heyman: He needs to think of something then, I don't know how much more of this The Rock can take!

Jim Ross: Well, why don't you stop him then?

Paul Heyman: I would but, then you would be left alone and people would turn WrestleMania off it all they heard was your voice.

Jim Ross: I'm sure That's the reason.

Referee tries to bring some order to this No DQ match backing 'Stone Cold' off but, Austin just moves the referee out of the and tries to continue his attack. But, The Rock sits up and grabs Steve and sends him head first into the middle turnbuckle. The Rock grabs Austin and puts him into the turnbuckle. The Rock begins laying the SmackDown on Austin but, before he can land a final blow, Austin grabs The Rock and reverses him into corner. Austin tries to get some strikes in but, Rock cuts him off by racking the eyes of Austin and clotheslining him out of the ring onto the ringside floor.

Jim Ross: The Rock with a move of desperation racking the eyes of Austin and sending him to ringside.

Paul Heyman: Wow JR! I surprised you called something unbiasedly... for once!

After catching his breath, The Rock rolls out of the ring and tries to pick up Austin but, Austin sees it coming as he sends 'The Brahma Bull' into the barricade. Austin chops The Rock to the woos of the fans in attendance and then lifts The Rock into the air and drops him chest first onto the barricade. The Rock stumbles to his feet attempting to beg 'The Bionic Redneck' off but, Austin doesn't listen to his pleas as Austin sends him head first into the steel post. The Rock rolls over onto his back showing that he has been busted open from the impact of hitting the post.

Paul Heyman: The Rock is going to Hollywood, he can be in movies with a messed up face!

Austin smirks at his handy work and picks up Rock, rolling him into the ring. Austin covers the reigning WWF Champion but, only gets a two count. Austin, continues his attack by bouncing off the ropes and hits a running pointed elbow drop. 'The Rattlesnake', again covers Rock but, this time only gets a one and half count. Austin looks at the crowd with almost a frustrated smile and he gets to his feet taunting 'The Great One' to get to his feet. Austin, tries to kick The Rock in the midsection but, 'The Brahma Bull' catches his foot and decks him with a stiff right to the mat. The Rock follows this up by locking in a sharpshooter. Austin yells in pain as The Rock yells at Austin to tap out. The crowd gets behind Austin by chanting his name over and over while he does all he can to make it to the ropes. 'Stone Cold' hangs onto the ropes with everything he has as the ref tells Rock to release the hold. But, there's nothing the ref can do as The Rock holds onto the sharpshooter for a few more second until he finally releases it.

Jim Ross: Austin's still alive here but, the damage has been done. He has to be feeling the effects of that sharpshooter.

Paul Heyman: You can see the pain on his face JR, he's just too stubborn to tap out.

Jim Ross: The WWF Championship means too much to Austin for him to give up now, he's come too far!

Austin holds onto his back in pain as The Rock gets out the ring and grabs a chair from ringside. The Rock sides the chair into the ring before sliding into it himself. 'The Great One' picks up the chair and begins to stalk Austin as he gets to his feet. Still holding his back, 'Stone Cold' turns around and is blasted in the head with the chair sending him to the mat. The Rock looks at the dent in the chair left from Austin's head then looks down at him who has been busted wide open from the vicious shot.

Jim Ross: By god, what a savage shot by The Rock!

Paul Heyman: What won't these men do to walk away as the WWF champion!?

The Rock tosses the chair away before covering Austin for a two count. The Rock stares at the referee in disbelief as he yells at him to count faster. Rock hooks the leg again getting another two count. The Rock gets up and grabs the ref by the shirt again yelling at him to count faster. 'The People's Champion' throws the ref to the mat and tries to pin Austin again but, Austin springs to life and rolls The Rock up for a two a half count. The Rock kicks out and gets to his feet as he looks at Austin with awe and then turns his attention to the ref for counting so fast. The Rock tries to turn his attention to Austin but, Austin is one step ahead as he locks him into a Cobra Clutch. 'The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment' starts to lose life as Austin yells 'tap out you son of a bitch!'

Jim Ross: The Rock's losing life fast.

Paul Heyman: Come on, Rocky!

The Rock looks to be out as the ref checks to see if he's out. The Rock manages to show signs of life of as he tries to battle back. The Rock tries to roll backwards out of it but, Austin continues to hold onto the Clutch. The Rock looks like he's about to tap out, out of a sign of pure desperation dives threw the middle rope sending both men toppling to the floor.

Paul Heyman: That's it Rock, that's why you're the World Wrestling Federation Champion!

Jim Ross: The Rock may have just saved himself from submitting but, the damage has been done to both men.

The two competitors slowly make it to their feet as they begin to trade punches at ringside. Each time The Rock punches Austin the sound of boos fill the arena and each time 'Stone Cold' hits The Rock the arena fills with cheers. Austin gets the upper hand as Rock drops to one knee. He looks to continue the assault but, Rock cuts him off hitting Austin with a brutal low blow followed by a DDT to the floor. The Rock stumbles to his feet as he rolls 'The Texas Rattlenake' into the ring and follows in and hooks the leg. Austin somehow manages to kick out before the ref's hand hit the mat for the three count. The Rock doesn't stop to complain, this time he picks Austin up and sends him into the ropes and hits a spinebuster in the middle of the ring. The fans can't help but cheer a little as The Rock sets up for the most electrifying move in sports entertainment.

Paul Heyman: Here it comes JR, the most electrifying move in sports entertainment, let's see Stone Cold kick out of this!

As The Rock springs up to the second set of ropes, Austin makes it to his feet and jumps at him with a Thesz press followed by a series of punches. 'Stone Cold' gets to his feet and The Rock stumbles to his feet after him. Austin kicks The Rock in the stomach and tries for the Stone Cold Stunner.

Jim Ross: Stunn- No!

The Rock pushes Austin into the ropes and as he bounces back to the center of the ring is hit with a Rock Bottom. The Rock covers Austin but, he somehow manages to kick out milliseconds before the three count. The Rock and crowd have a look of disbelief as The Rock turns his attention to the ref. The two begin to argue back and forth before The Rock decks him with a right hand sending him to the mat. The Rock turns around and is hit by a Stunner out of nowhere by Austin who quickly covers The Rock in the center of the ring. But, the ref is still out as Austin does what he can to revive the ref from the 'dead'.

Jim Ross: Austin has The Rock beat.

Paul Heyman: Well, then why isn't his arm raised?

Jim Ross: You know damn well it's because the referee is knocked out.

Paul Heyman: The referee wouldn't be knocked out if he knew to count faster for 'The People's Champ'.

Just when things couldn't get any worse for Austin, Vince McMahon walks through the curtain with a devilish look on his face still not happy with how things went for him earlier in the night in the street fight.

Jim Ross: Oh come on, what's McMahon doing out here?

Paul Heyman: Maybe he just wants a closer look of the WWF Championship match?

Jim Ross: You and I both know he's not out here just to get a close up look of the match.

Vince McMahon stands at ringside as Austin locks eyes with the Chairman before turning his attention back to the champion. But, he turns right into The Rock as he sets up for the Rock Bottom but, Austin battles out to the joy of the fans. Austin bounces off the ropes again but, is caught by 'The Great One' as he is hit with a spinebuster. The Rock again sets up for the People's Elbow and this time is able to hit it as he covers Austin to the joy of McMahon. The referee shows sign of life as he slowly counts the pin. Austin again manages to get his shoulder off the mat before the ref counts the three. The Rock picks up Stone Cold who is on spaghetti legs and tries to send him into the ropes but, Austin reverses and Irish whips The Rock into the ropes and hits a back body drop sending him rolling out of the ring. Austin, rolls out after 'The People's Champ' and tries to attack The Rock but, Vince stands in the middle of the two rivals and begins yelling at Stone Cold. Austin just smirks at his boss as he flips him off and drops him with a stiff punch and begins to stomp him over and over again.

Paul Heyman: What's he doing!? There's going to be a lawsuit with Stone Cold's name on it!

Jim Ross: Mr. McMahon knew what he was into when he stuck his nose where it didn't belong.

Paul Heyman: You're just bias towards Stone Cold.

Jim Ross: I'm bias!?

Paul Heyman: That's right JR you are, and I'm glad you can finally admit it!

Austin, smiles at his fallen boss before picking The Rock up and tossing him into the ring. Austin stomps Vince a couple more times before rolling into the ring and covering The Rock. Rock manages to get his shoulder off the mat before the count reaches three. Stone Cold looks at the referee with a look of frustration before picking up The Rock and hitting yet another Stone Cold Stunner but, the moment of hitting the mat sends The Rock rolling out of the ring through the bottom rope. Austin can't help but look up and smile as he rolls out of the ring. Austin, again stomps away at McMahon before picking up The Rock's dead weight and pushes him back into the ring. Austin, looks like he is about to cover The Rock but, instead pushes him to the middle of the ring where sets up for the People's Elbow.

Paul Heyman: He can't do this, this is The Rock's move!

Jim Ross: I don't think Stone Cold gives a damn if it's The Rock's move.

The crowd pops as bounces off the ropes but, before he can bounce off the second set, Vince McMahon grabs his foot tripping him allowing The Rock to kip-up hitting a spinebuster. The Rock sets up the People's Elbow for the third time in the match and is able to hit is before hooking the leg of Austin. 'The Bionic Rattlesnake', somehow someway, manages to get his shoulder off the canvas before the ref hit the mat for the pin fall.

Jim Ross: Austin's still alive, somehow he manages to kick out.

Paul Heyman: Steve Austin is just avoiding the inevitable, The Rock's victory is just around the corner!

The Rock lays on the mat with a look of confusion and disbelief wondering what more he has to do to put 'Stone Cold' Steven Austin away. The Rock, looks over to Vince and signals for him to pass him a chair. The Rock picks up the chair and begins yelling at Austin to get up. Austin, with the help of the ring ropes, stumbles to his feet as The Rock swings a wild chair shot towards his head. Stone Cold manages to duck the shot causing The Rock to drop the chair as he spins around back to 'Stone Cold'. Austin, kicks Rock in the stomach and again tries for a Stone Cold Stunner but, 'The Great One' sees it coming as again he pushes Austin and tries for The Rock bottom but, Austin again battles out of it again kicking The Rock in the midsection and tries for another Stunner. Vince McMahon gets onto the apron now holding a chair as The Rock manages to push 'Stone Cold' away this time towards Vince McMahon who nails him with a stiff chair shot to head knocking him back towards The Rock who plants him with a Rock Bottom.

Jim Ross: No!

Paul Heyman: Yes!

The Rock hooks the leg of 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin for the three count fall to the sea of boos of the fans.

Winner: The Rock [via pinfall]

Jim Ross: Stone Cold has been screwed, his WrestleMania moment has been stolen by Vince McMahon and The Rock!

Paul Heyman: What part of no disqualification didn't you get JR?

Jim Ross: If The Rock was so confident in his abilities then he wouldn't of used the devil himself to help him win this match!

WrestleMania X7 comes to a close with Vince McMahon raising The Rock's hand while retaining Champion holds the WWF championship in the other as they stand over a bloodied, battered, and beaten 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.
