Dixie Carter and TNA producer Jason Hervey met with Activision officials in Santa Monica this week. TNA has interest in producing a new video game after Midway produced the first ever TNA Impact video game back in 2008.

Seems like it's gonna be a decent year all together for wrestling. If WWE2k14 can be released head to head with a TNA game produced by Activision, be in for one hell of a ride.

You think a brand new wrestling game (or any game) can be made from scratch within 7 months?

exactly. and the report only says 'met with/interested in'. so a deal hasn't even been actually made yet. TNA are ONLY TALKING WITH Activision. and if a deal DOES get made, don't expect an Activsion TNA game for 2-3 years.

On the upside, Activision isn't likely to end up with the problem Midway had. Midway pushed the TNA game out before it was anywhere near ready because it was desperately trying to stay afloat.

TNA just took an L in that case, Activision is shit-tier.

Both Activision and Midway are shit. But it all depends on who Activision gets to develop the game. Activision as a brand is very hit-and-miss these days with the games that they publish. But I will admit that they have published some decent games in the last few years (like the 2 Transformers games).

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'm hoping for the following in the next TNA game:

- TNA KNOCKOUTS.

- Full entrances.

- Better controls.

Hell, if the original had Diving finishers, more moves, and a less cheap AI then the original game would have been a huge series starter.

Just cause the first one was over-hyped and crap doesn't mean a new one would automatically be bad too and especially since it'd be made by a whole new developer&publisher with everything new from scratch,Being already sure you won't be paying cause you assume it'd be another bad game is beyond f'n stupid!!

The new one may not even be from Activision since it's said they had a meeting and not that Activision has agreed!

This. Too many people say they won't buy the next installment of a game series just because the latest one sucked. We know nothing about the game and there are already people deciding not to bother.

Can't wait to get more info on this. Been waiting for an up-to-date TNA game.
