Could you please consider removing the rule about not talking about textures...it would make life so much easier for everyone. I just can't get my head around it...Smacktalks allows it and they even had Cory Ledesma judging a recent competition they held. Not trying to cause a riot here or anything it's just pretty much everyone will be using them again (if possible) as was the case with '12 and would be so much more helpful for people if we could openly discuss things.

Hey guys. I can't really get why we can't speak about textures? Maybe someone can tell me?

Haven't some of the mods here been known to use that which we can not speak of? Very odd.

ThreeG & Ernez explained it a few weeks ago and it's just not About THQ. I have seen other topic where they explained it but this is the most recent.

It's about the responsibility held for the problems that are caused by it... The insane trolls joining the site just to learn how to hack and everything.

I mean all we need here is a disclaimer saying Caws.ws it's staff and members are not responsible for you messing up your save.

Thanks for the info...i get it must be a pain in the ass for the mods/owner here having people accuse them 'personally' for being responsible for their games cocking up BUT as Codes said wouldn't a simple disclaimer just solve that? If people persistently nagged/accused you then warn/ban...dont think you'd have any arguments from frequent users lol.
Just trying to better understand the issue as used properly they really do add to the game and i don't honestlly think THQ or wwe give a damn about it (based on personal experience)...in fact if they included it themselves it would be a MAJOR selling point IMO.

You may speak about the textures, however you can't speak on how to do them. If you say for instants "I textured the face" or "you need to texture the attire" that's fine. However saying "Use -thisprogram- to get textures" is not allowed. You may not talk about tools used to do this.

We have went back and forth on this many times. We still do, however right now we believe it to be much easier and less strain-full to just not allow it.

Wont under any circumstance allow links to such programmes, however you're free to talk about 'hacking', 'texturing' CAWs etc. Just no links to the download, or where to find it.

Yeah that's fine, just as long as there's no download links to the programme, as you know the creator isn't a fan of this place, and he'll just cause trouble that our place is using it, yadda yadda.
