Ok this is my first time pre ordering a game from Amazon. So I chose two day shipping. Does anyone know when the game will be shipped? My guess is Friday but not so sure. Has anyone that has ordered any games from Amazon got their game early? All help would be appreciated.

Yeah Target and Kmart but, they are to scarred of getting fired. I have a friend at best buy too she didn't wanna do it for me. Best buy has had the game since mid last week

so you are saying the game is in store as we speak

I don't think Amazon is offering one-day shipping on the preorder right now, it's currently standard or two-day release date delivery. I've gotten lucky with my Prime two-day often though and gotten it in only one day so maybe I'll get lucky on a preorder? Certainly not expecting it though.

yes one of the members here that works at gamestop said the game came in last friday. the game is in stores every year early. it doesnt come in the day it is released or even the day before. most games are in stock a week prior to their on sale date. This is how mom and pop shops always sold it a week before it came out. Smackdown vs Raw 2006 I remember some mom and pop shops sold it 3 weeks early. tons of people on various boards got it early that year.

Well I chose 2 day and says I will get it Tuesday. I have been reading that some people have gotten some games up to 3 days early. I might change my order to one day shipping.

many games nowadays have a disclaimer (to the retailers; not to customers) saying it cannot be shipped out more than 24 hours before the street date.

The NHL series by EA used to come to me from gamestop.com a day or 2 early as it shipped a few days before release. Last year many companies started giving companies and warehouses the disclaimer I mentioned. Gamefaqs.com had a link to an article on it. EA, THQ, Capcom, and 2K Sports are a few of the companies I recall issuing the disclaimer. Sure enough this year, first time in 7 years, my NHL game did not arrive before the release date.

It depends on your location and at which date will be released there.

I have amazon prime and getting mine at the 30th Oktober but even with the standard shipping, it wouldn't had been later cause before I had prime they still delivered at release day or a day after max (that would be the 31th then).

This has actually been going on for a long time. It only really made headlines the last year or two when companies started gouing after shops that sold the games early. I have worked seasonal at Best Buy a few times in my life and there were TONS of movies, cd's, and games that came with what were called "24 hour windows" on them to make sure the game did not leave the back room/warehouse more than 24 hours before the item's retail release date.

As far as games being in stock early this also is not a new practice. At Best Buy we would have a release schedule showing when we were getting a product in and then next to it was the products release date. We got some games up to 6 weeks before we could legally put them on the sales floor.

I should add with amazon if it is 2 day shipping, but you live close enough to an amazon ship center you will get it in 1 day. I am in NY and games I order from amazon always come from their NJ plant so I get it overnight no matter how many days shipping I pay for.

All i can tell you is that i have a Prime accont and last year i attempted pre-ordering WW12 (first time i've ever attempted to use amazon for pre-orders) not omly did i not get the game on the day of release but i never even recieved it on the Saturday. i ended buying it from a shop and sending the amazon copy back...i am sure that is an isolated case though. i have since pre-ordered resident evil 6 which arrived on day of arrival.

i personaly am not risking wwe 13 from amazon and pre-ordered it from gamestation in store instead

So would it be safer to just order it from Gamestop.com then???

its the same at both. to get it on release day you will have to order the overnight shipping. with amazon 2 day you have a slight chance to get it on release day. 2 day shipping from gamestop you have zero chance as if it is 2 day shipping from gamestop the facility holds it a day before putting it on the truck for delivery.
