Is HBK's Sweet chin music in as a catching finisher?

hmm something seems off it looks great and all but the timing is slightly off, as the guy hits the ground before he gets hit like theres a half a second delay , if you have seen the shelton bejemin one or any other he hits it exactly the moment his feet hit the floor and it looks like one solid motion in the game not so, but still looks great

Yeah, it would've been different if they didn't just have the same animation as standing finisher. I would've accepted the running move, that looks nice. But the guy just lands on his feet and then stands there for the sweet chin music. It needs to connect as soon as he touches the ground.

Edit: I hate the selling of the move too. Oversold. They should have just landed on his back. End.

exactly what i mean, it should be all one fluid motion not jump land....then kick

and say you were to close, to fix that have it were you have to be at least a certain distance away for the animation to work

if i remember correctly when shelton benjemin sold it, he basically just lay there like he'd been ko'd

to me being knocked out with a catching finisher like this adds more realism then flapping around like a headless chicken. makes the move seem that more powerfull

Can these catching finishers only be done from the turnbuckle or can we hit them from a springboards over the top rope............ as in Shelton Benjamin/HBK from the Gold rush tournament a few years back?!?!

i think its been confirmed that springboard are also catching finishers but dont hold me to that

i'm sure Cory confirmed this on Twitter...hope AI use spingboard and turnbuckle dives in order for the catching finisher technology to have some use. imo thecatching superkick looks decent

i think it works on the same level as a top rope, where your opponent is stood on the apron and you have a certain time you can activate it and your opponent will automatically do the springboard, and it would be pretty stupid for them to hype it really badly and then the ai doesn't go for these attacks, but going off gameplay videos and stuff the ai has improved and will wrestle like and actual wrestler and not go for the cheap win

i havn't seen much gameplay videos, but thanks for the info was kinda getting a bad feeling about THQ hyping something up only to let use down with it..starting to feel good about the game again.cheers

it's kina logical tbf, why would you hype it and then not have the computer let you set up those moves
